While it is great that more people get a chance to play Lego City Undercover, this is a bare-bone port that lacks improvements besides an underdeveloped multiplayer option and some basic graphical enhancements.- M3

When Observer was originally released three years ago, it was mostly met with praise, even though the console version left a lot to be desired. But with the power of Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X, this psychological horror crime adventure corrects many of the errors from the first version – and adds greatly improved graphics and some new content. The gameplay is still limited, and the bugs are unfortunately a bit too frequent, but the world and story keeps us hooked to the end.- M3

Great narrative and phenomenal action aside, Quantum Break truly brings the cinematic experience into videogames. The many junction choices will make you come back for more, even after completing the game.- M3

Motion controllers isn’t always the best way to go, but in Arms they really add something to the gameplay. It may not be perfect – certainly not for those who prefer to play alone – but it feels like a fresh, and accessible, take on the fighting genre.- M3

It has been a fact for a couple of years now that EA Sports NHL series is in need of a big renovation. The graphics is starting to look dated, the physics isn't nearly as good as PES or FIFA and the AI is unbalanced – particularly the goalie part. NHL 17 is still a pretty decent game for the hockey fans, but it's hard to not feel a bit disappointed.- M3

Unravel Two may not be as surprising as its predecessor, but it’s a better game in every aspect. The addition of a second playable characters feels fresh, and the game design feels more responsive this time.- M3

Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World won't make a huge impact on the gaming year of 2017, but it's a solid, well-crafted 3DS-remake with great accessibility and variety amongst its colorful levels.- M3

Fifa 20 continues its dominance, albeit in the absence of real competition. The new tricks give us more entertaining offense play and the career mode is more dynamic than ever. Volta has also been updated to the point of almost becoming a separate game. Despite this we do notice that EA cannot go further than this on today's consoles, and we look forward to a new entry for the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X.- M3

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is a somewhat odd addition to the Call of Duty franchise. The online multiplayer does not offer any notable improvements, and the zombie mode is a fun romp but nothing more. On the other hand, the game offers an impressive single player campaign that feels fresh and interesting. If you want a great sci-fi game this is the one to get.- M3

Off the track, the MotoGP 21 builds upon what its predecessor did well. On the track, however, we get improved and more realistic gameplay. At first it feels like a change for the worse, but the more we play, the more we like it. We do wish MotoGP 21 had more noticeable improvements on the new generation of consoles, although significantly shorter loading times and a superb use of the Dualsense’s features does make the game more enjoyable.- M3

NHL 20 is a good hockey game that would have been even better if it had more new and brave features. EA is taking the comfortable road again this year, and frankly we're starting to get a little tired of that approach.- M3

With a generic design and a bit of a bland start, Immortals: Fenyx Rising does not make a particularly great first impression. Less than an hour later our feelings are starting to turn - and after that the game just keeps giving. It is a joy to travel the colorful world and discover imaginative puzzles, tricky challenges, and fun battles. Sure, the adventure is a bit unfocused and somewhat generic, but when the gameplay delivers so much joy, it does not matter much.- M3

Darksiders Genesis is an unexpectedly great mix of Darksiders and Diablo. You will mainly hack and slash your way through the levels, but clever puzzles, fun explorations and challenging platforming makes the adventure feel familiar yet fresh at the same time. Sure, the game feels a bit low-budget at time, and especially the control and camera could use some fine-tuning. But overall, Airship Syndicate has created a real gem for anyone who wants a slightly smarter and more varied action game.- M3

Although the game system is well done and the environments are beautiful, the rest is still bland and unimaginative. However, the battles are a strong bright spot - and if you like Japanese role-playing games in the old style, there is a lot to like here. Do not expect any groundbreaking new features or an outstanding story though.- M3

Moto GP 19 does not disappoint when it comes to licenses and content. We get the drivers, teams and courses for both the Moto GP series as well as several underlying divisions – and all the vehicles feels great to drive. All in all, it is an excellent game for fans of Moto GP, but if you do not mind racing with four wheels instead of two there are many better racing games to choose from.- M3

With an entertaining campaign, great online opportunities and panic-stricken zombie slaughter, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is an impressive package. Still, we can not help but feel disappointed. The best parts of the campaign could have been developed much more and the online modes feel well stripped down. Cold War still impresses, but with more development time, it could have been so much more than "this year's Call of Duty game".- M3

It is easy to say whether Trover Saves the Universe is worth your time or not. If you like the humor, the gameplay is solid enough for the game to keep your attention to the end. If you do not like the humor, however, you will probably give up before the first level is completed.- M3

There is plenty of fun to be had with Super Mario Party, if the circumstances are right. With four friends and the right mindset you will have hours of fun in front of you. Although if you prefer a fair game, can’t gather enough players, or want to play online the enjoyment falls significantly. In the end Super Mario Party might actually be the highlight of the series so far, but there is still a lot of room for improvement.- M3

Clubs and spears instead of firearms, and mammoths instead of cars. Far Cry Primal is a well-made and interesting take on the Far Cry formula, but in the end it just is not as good as the third and fourth installment.- M3

Engaging and surprisingly emotional. Even though Surviving Mars can be frustrating at times, because of how poorly it communicates it’s mechanics, it’s still a great resource management game whose combination of a sincere theme and involving mechanics more games should study.- M3

Paper Mario: Color Splash is one of those games that works best if you play it a couple of hours each time. The graphical design is as wonderful as ever, and the adventure offers plenty of charming settings. Sadly the gameplay feels a little too monotonous, and the battles aren’t as dynamic as the previous games.- M3

Firewatch is an odd game, not only because it’s an indie title with no combat whatsoever. The world is so beautiful and the first hour is pure gaming magic. But in the end the story feels a bit flat. However, the artwork alone makes it worth playing.- M3

Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit is a good attempt to revive the toys to life genre. The AR functions are really impressive, with varied environments such as snow landscapes and lava worlds that give your living room a completely new look. Unfortunately the basic game itself is somewhat limited in terms of characters and unlockables. In addition, the 200cc mode is the only one that corresponds to the fast-paced feel from the original. And the total prize will definitely discourage a lot of curious players.- M3

NHL 18 has plenty of content for the hockey fan, whether you play offline or online. The new skill focused gameplay is a welcome addition, as well as the party mode "Threes". But just like the previous games NHL 18 feels a little too unpolished on the ice. This series is still in need of a renovation.- M3

With over 50 games on the roster Sega Mega Drive Classics has something for most retro fans. Granted most of the games have already been seen in older collections and the emulation is not always perfect, but the ability to quick save and especially rewind is a game changer. Even though some will call it cheating, the ability to undo mistakes makes the classic games much more accessible and enjoyable than ever before.- M3

When we sum up our experience with episode 3, it definitely feels better than when we played through the other parts. It all ends as usual with a strong cliffhanger that promises well for the continuation. We hope, however, that the next episode offers more action and gameplay moments with more direct control over the events.- M3
