Blue Prince is a superb puzzler that joyfully challenges and deceives with every layer of its design and execution. You've not played anything quite like this before.

South of Midnight is a refreshing and satisfying action-adventure that has all of the trappings and nostalgia of the classics of yesteryear, yet has all of the bells and whistles you’d associate with modern gaming.

The Croc: Legend of the Gobbos remaster makes this childhood favourite playable in the modern age, and is still a hell of a lot of fun.

Battlefield Waltz is an engaging visual novel with loads of endearing hunks to romance, but in 2025 it's not quite in the top tier of the genre.

Nif Nif is the perfect first deck building Roguelike for newcomers to the genre, but its lack of challenge means it's not worth replaying much.

AI Limit is a fun game when you're not tangling with the camera. The combat is slick and fast and the gear and skill systems work well enough, but it can't quite stand alongside the best in the genre.

Midnight Murder Club is an inventive and entertaining multiplayer game, which will provide plenty of pitch black fun for the squad. If you can handle the tension and don’t mind a slight lack of variety in its early access form it’s a great time to jump on board the murder train, just make sure to eat your carrots first. inZOI is an ambitious attempt to topple Maxis’ empire, but in its current form it’s not really exciting enough to pose a threat to it. The use of generative AI is unpleasant, the actual gameplay is too slow paced, and there’s just a lack of charm in the world. Hopefully this period of early access can shake things up enough to make some serious improvements to the game, because right now it merely remains one to watch. [Early Access Review]
