Red Dead Redemption 2 is technically impressive; a well-made game and a visual jewel polished to the smallest detail: a masterpiece in every way. By displaying excellent writing and storytelling, developed character and plots, and a full array of activities, it stands one of the best open worlds to date. Rockstar Games once again stands as the creator of the most successful and influential works in the medium of interactive entertainment. We are probably facing the best game ever made by Rockstar Games.- LevelUp

Grand Theft Auto V offers a fairly large amount of graphical options to achieve smooth 60 fps on a variety of modest configurations and has enough options to push visual quality up to 4K resolution and beyond for those with beefy enough computers. The arrival of GTA V on PC was long awaited, but it was definitely worth the wait.- LevelUp

Naughty Dog has proven itself again as one of the most accomplished development teams in the world. With The Last of Us they have given us a consistent and interesting world that is supported by practically all of its game mechanics. From the rich complex combat system to the sublime sound design, this game immerses the player in one of the most visceral plots in this generation. Maybe the AI could have been better, but, overall, this game proves how far the craftsmanship of making video games has come.- LevelUp

While it may not seem like much, 1080p resolution and 60 fps are very welcome improvements for a nearly perfect game. Naughty Dog managed to do a flawless technical adaptation for the PlayStation 4. We would have loved a bit more extra content, but we can't complain, as the game already is one of the best ever created for a Sony platform.- LevelUp

ASTRO BOT is fantastic. It is one of those videogames that knows how to follow a direction and fully commits to make you fall in love with the purest fun. Although it is clear that this is a videogame made by and for fans of the Japanese brand, it is also a celebration of what this medium represents and all those incredible moments that it has made us spend from childhood to adulthood. It is a game that celebrates being a videogame to remind us why we love this medium so much.- LevelUp

God of War is all you can ask from a new game in a franchise; very high production values, charismatic characters and satisfying combat, visceral with no lack of action. However, this is accompanied by a very well-told story, excellent animation, a very interesting new universe, fun gameplay and a partner that develops a very promising personality. You can feel the dedication and care that Santa Monica Studio put into every frame of this game. Despite going in a new direction, God of War somehow manages to feel familiar and it is a worthy beginning of a new saga that surely has a lot to give us in the future.- LevelUp

Elden Ring is everything we dream of and much more. It is the natural evolution of a franchise that has captivated several generations and is now ready to capture many more. Elden Ring will be the most talked about game of the next decade. It's proof that FromSoftware is a master of its craft and a testament that it dominates the genre it has created. Those who try to do something similar will remain mere imitators: they will never reach the level of sophistication achieved in Elden Ring.- LevelUp

Naughty Dog again proves that it can rise to expectations. With The Last of Us Part II, the studio maintains its prestigious status with a continuation that keeps intact the shades of the original, although it fails to completely overcome it. In parallel, it attempts to resolve a multi-faceted conflict that is impossible to cut, judge, or limit to spectrums as simple as "good" or "evil." Although character characterization is commendable, sometimes they feel without growth since they make the same mistakes over and over again. The outcome is grimly satisfying (in a sick and odd sense). The result is a visceral delivery supported by its combat, stealth, and world-building. Part II reaffirms how far the medium has come and the impressive craftsmanship behind its creation.- LevelUp

Capcom has once again succeeded in recreating a masterpiece in a manner that faithfully captures the spirit of the original while also evoking new emotions that challenge expectations. This remake does far more than simply recreate the past; it is an excellent reinvention. Capcom has raised the bar for what is expected of a remake while simultaneously preserving an enviable legacy. Without a doubt, Resident Evil 4 remains the experience that defined genres and stands as one of the greatest games of all time.- LevelUp
