So complicated is the combat system and character management, one may overlook the excellent story in this unusual JRPG. [Nov 2008]

Here comes cooperative multiplayer – the “family fun” at its best. Sequel to colorful strategy game brings lots of improvements unfortunately many of them are only cosmetic changes. [Oct 2008]

As usual from SimBin – GTR Evo is stunning driving experience. Owners of Race 07 should think twice before buying this game – many parts were “recycled” from the previous game. [Oct 2008]

Penumbra is back … and this time is completely different. Connected to previous parts by notes and recordings, the third Penumbra is an interesting Poral-clone. Thanks to a different approach to level design and to solving puzzles you can’t blame it for copying. [Oct 2008]

Galactic Adventures may not be a cure-all to Spore's problems though players get a massive improvement to their space phase of gaming. Finally, there is fun out there in space. [June 2009]

    N+
Minimalistic visuals, simplified controls, brilliant level design and level editor – mix those ingredients in proper ratio and you got one of the best games for NDS. Line N plus. [Oct 2008]

How to describe the new add-on to the endless Sims 2 series in one sentence? Rental housing at its best. You will love the beautiful architecture and you will be surprised at how much fun, magic can bring into the normal lives of the ordinary sims. [Sept 2008]

Are improved graphics, greater amount of destructible objects and a couple of new cars sufficient reason to buy the same game again? If you played the previous Flatout game you should be warned that Flatout: Ultimate Carnage is slightly improved Flatout 2 with the same mistakes under a polished hood. [Sept 2008]

Dark middle-ages feel, excellent dialogues and stylish graphics would not put The Abbey above average adventure games. But The Name of the Rose-inspired story makes this experience remarkable. [Oct 2008]

Tiny but pretty humorous platform/fighting/shooter game. Non-stop action excels in perfect difficulty balancing. If only there were more than three hours of gameplay from the beginning to the very end. [Oct 2008]

Couple of bright ideas suffocated by average presentation. Dracula 3 comes with nice graphics but puzzles are a bit too difficult, the world is empty, and the story is anything but attractive. [Oct 2008]

Too complicated. Yet excellent narrative concerned with matters of human existence. Too Human is an attractive drama set in the rich world suffering from a way too complex game system. Sudden cut in one thirds of a story will not make you happy. [Sept 2008]

Remake as it should be – every personal observer will be pleased, every skeptic will be convinced that the original game built its legendary status deservedly. Rearmed excels in presentation with humor and fantastic co-op mode on the other side you have to face very user un-friendly controls and excessive difficulty. [Sept 2008]

No one can hear you clicking in space… Missed opportunity to create a successful action paced sci-fi. Space Siege is more Dungeon Siege II mod than anything else. There are lots of nice flying and exploding barrels but playability itself is a bit “wearing” and you can beat the whole game in three afternoons of lazy playing. [Sept 2008]

The polished diamond called Madden NFL combines first rate playability together with adaptable AI and a very good multiplayer mode. Unfortunately, most parts of the game are the same as last year's version, so it is more of an add-on than a regular next version. [Sept 2008]

Popular strip converted to game brings fun mostly to its fans. If you count into this group you will enjoy all adventuring, gags and dialogs. But it takes a lot of patience to get into the heart of the matter if you are new to the stories of Homestar Runner. [Sept 2008]

A visual aural and spiritual delight – that’s Braid's explicit answer to all skeptics who proclaim games can only evolve in technical issues. Tens of completely different puzzles action-based or logical all connected to time-tampering created small but still one of the best games of all times. [Sept 2008]

Rich content of the Olympics official product warms the heart of any sports fan. Plenty of disciplines, realistic stadiums and eye-taking graphics could bring a lot of fun but, useless controls and lack of real sportsmen names spoils the overall impression. [Aug 2008]

Legend: Hand of God is a typical kind of game that misrepresents itself. At first glance you see an astounding and flawless product but soon you will find out that behind the excellent graphics there is a half-empty world with repeatable quests and poor character development. [Sept 2008]

Possibly the best fighting game on the market. The fourth installment compiles every good aspect from previous games brings a couple of new improvements and –as usual- comes in stunning graphics. Multiplayer modes guarantee immortality for this title (or at least until the next episode). [Sept 2008]

Genuine Asian horror contains everything you'd expect from this genre: disgusting little girls, abominable monsters and incomprehensible cultural habits. The only flaw on this excellent genre-mixture game is a very short life span. [Sept 2008]

Final Fantasy finally comes to the Nintendo handheld. Those who are not afraid of slightly higher difficulty will be rewarded by one of the best RPGs for NDS. Praise the creators who decided to reduce the random fights – finally you can enjoy a visually splendid game without an annoying amount of fights. [Sept 2008]

18th time and not for the last time for sure. Some games we are better off not knowing they even exist because of... well everything. Pixel hunting, outdated graphics, boring dialogs (un-skippable), sluggish controls – we skip next 15 episodes of Nancy Drew adventures then we try again. [Sept 2008]

Twenty missions with two heroes and four different combat styles sound good but many missions take place in the same areas just other way round. Yet Devil May Cry 4 is an appealing addictive game for any player. Joypad required – keyboard+mouse controls for masochists only. [Aug 2008]
