Lone Survivor, with its apparent simplicity, manages to terrify the player with its insane nightmarish world where impossible monstrosities move in the darkness, in an attempt to keep alive the genre of psychological horror... Not an easy task.

Codemasters brings us a new Formula 1 title again this year, adding interesting options to this ever-entertaining racing competition. The inclusion of eight classic models and the new Scene mode are the most important new features, while the rest of novelties are in line with what we could see in the previous title.

This original game wants you to relax. Its good design, excellent soundtrack and outstanding narrative are paired with a classic-style control system. This system is one of the shortcomings of the game, besides the general feeling of being discouraged from replaying any level we've already finished.

2K did it again. One more year, their NBA basketball franchise reinvents itself again so it can offer us an experience that is true to every small aspect of this high level sport. The inclusion of FIBA teams, or the "LeBron James: Path of the Greatness" game mode are the big new features in a game that is, maybe, perfect.

FIFA 14 is the best title in the franchise so far. As the icing of the cake for a project that started alongside this console generation, this last installment revamps certain playability and technical issues, which makes it the best FIFA title in the last few years.

Finally, Konami sets the route of its soccer saga. With Fox Engine's help, Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 absolutely changes the last year's franchise direction, offering an excellent playing basis that allows the product to evolve. However, there are some flaws which are clear and, although understandable, can't simply be brushed aside.

Grand Theft Auto V is not just the best sandbox game there is. It's not just one of the best 3rd-person shooters ever. It's not just a great action game, a great driving game, and a great piloting or sports game. It's not just the biggest audiovisual spectacle in the last few years. Grand Theft Auto V is the best game in the current console generation, period.

Killer is Dead has an excellent technical department, but it's short duration, alongside certain graphic issues, prevent it from sticking out of the crowd. Fans of Suda 51 will love it, while the rest may very well hate it or just be overwhelmed by it's particular gameplay.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX is a second chance for anybody interested in the franchise's background. This nicely remastered version has no apparent correlation with Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories, which can be a disappointment. If the adaptation had been complete, we would be talking about an outstanding game.

After the last installment of the saga, Lost Planet 3 makes up in terms of story line, with a very well constructed plot that will redeem it in the eyes of the fans. Nonetheless, the interactive aspects of the game are still lacking, preventing this game from reaching higher quality levels.

Blacklist is the most complete game of the franchise. The enemy A.I., agility in the actions and all the weapons and gadgets are the perfect support for a proposal of espionage. In addition, the integration of cooperative and competitive multiplayer is total, with a really clever solution that seals an adventure for lovers of action and stealth.

Saints Row IV offers varied missions and content, even though you will never stop feeling like this is just an expansion pack. The characters' charm and mischievous sense of humor will suit any fan of the saga, although the absence of any real novelty (both in the playability and graphics department) makes Saints Row IV a less satisfactory game than expected.

Tales of Xillia is, without doubt, one of the best JRPG of the current generation. If we took all the dark humor, the protagonist rudeness and the gratuitous violence out of Deadpool: The Videogame, we would be talking about a worthless game. These few qualities will enable us to have a good time playing it, even though they wouldn't justify at all the purchase of this game... Unless it was on sale.

Time and Eternity is a roleplaying game focused, mainly, towards the Japanese market. On one hand, its plot is entertaining, but not a very complex one; on the other hand, it offers a wide variety of secondary missions and different unlockable elements that will prolong the game's life. Although visually interesting, the plain and sometimes badly designed scenarios will overshadow the overall impression. And it will be released only in English.

Naughty Dog puts an end to the current generation with a game that explores the human interaction of two characters, Joel and Ellie, that are destined to get along in a shattered world that has been wonderfully represented thanks to its impressive technical aspects. Dontnod Entertainment has in Remember Me an important title due to the interesting plot, the high quality graphics and a pretty innovative combat system.
