  1. For all those who are not confirmed “CSI” fans, this is worth a look.
  2. While not quite the out-of-the-gate obvious hit that “The West Wing” was, ["Commander In Chief"] has enough going for it that it may soon become America’s favorite soap opera about a president of the United States.
  3. Not as terrible as most shows of this genre.
  4. “Everybody Hates Chris” is one of those rare nostalgia shows that doesn’t patronize childhood.
  5. [A] surprisingly brain-dead series.
  6. Of all the new mystery-driven dramas aspiring to be this year’s “Lost”... “Invasion” is the most absorbing and least hokey.
  7. Whoever wrote the first episode of “Lost” didn’t crowd the screen with dimwits forced to recite grade-B TV drama drivel. By that standard, “Surface” doesn’t get a pass.
  8. A viewer-friendly diversion.

  9. This is one smart, funny comedy that deserves better than the anemic time slot it’s getting.
  10. Shockingly unfunny.
  11. The only thing this sitcom has going for it is Sara Gilbert.
  12. A violent, hair-raising combo of “The Ring,” “War of the Worlds” and “Invasion of the Body Snatchers,” with a dash of official conspiracy.
  13. An uneven but so far entertaining buddy show.
  14. A flimsy little procedural that uses logical and technological leaps of faith to hide its central problem: lack of co-star chemistry.
  15. These brothers are like most WB stars and starlets, pretty faces with negligible theatrical skills.
  16. There’s nothing especially novel on “The War at Home,” except the way the familiar elements -- punch lines, fantasy sequences, sassy kids, talk-to-the-camera confessionals, bleeped profanity -- come together.
  17. “Prison Break” could be the fall’s breakout hit, but only if other actors can bail out Miller.
