If you like games like Harvest Moon, or you enjoyed the fishing portion in the Dark Cloud series, then this is a fun little game just for you. While it’s far from perfect, it’s a delightful adventure that both casual and hard-core gamers can enjoy. Just don’t expect anything epic.

If you’re a hardcore fan of the films, then you might be able to overlook some of these flaws, but if not, then you may want to just give this one a rental.

The story is almost insulting until nearly the end, I didn’t like the characters, and combat was by and large pretty boring with all too many encounters.

You get what you pay for, so don’t expect anything groundbreaking here. However, I feel confident that most gamers can get at least some level of enjoyment out of this game, even if it’s just a few laughs.

Many of the game's elements are dated, while others are just annoying and problematic. If you’re looking for a children’s game or you’re a die-hard fan of the Neopets, then you might find some enjoyment within this game. Otherwise, steer clear!

The result may be a shiny bauble of a new game, but under that thin veneer and Molyneuxite fan worship beats the heart of a truncated action title. Short on gameplay, long on flash. Short on true RPG depth and long on empty hype.

In the list of Diablo clones – which includes the likes of Dungeon Siege, Revenant, and Nox – it ends up near the bottom for the simple reason that it lacks soul.

It’s a must play for any Civil War-loving gamers out there, and a decent rental for anyone curious to experience a war game from a war other than World War II for a change.

Samurai Western is an OK action game with a unique Western theme and some cool RPG depth. Unfortunately, the camera is horribly frustrating, the characters are lame, and the constant button mashing will probably make your hands hurt.

A great example of how less-than-smooth gameplay can plague even the most interesting plot. Better design could have made this a classic. It is a tribute to just how well the story is woven that I kept hammering away at it, even while cursing the flaws and giggling at the funny combat sequences.

The story is cute and simple, like all the Lunar games, but is held back by a questionable localization.

The not-so-obvious story, sound and graphics take away from this excellent game. The game is definitely an experience worth trying, but don’t expect a long ride!

One of the nicest things about the game is the fact that players will be able to play co-op with another individual.

The gameplay does have its problems, but if you respect the controls and give it time, you will no doubt find something to enjoy with the game.

The graphics are definitely dated, and look more similar to an early PlayStation 2 game, but as it is a value title, one can look past some of these graphical flaws.

The Nintendo DS version of Eragon has its share of flaws. If you are a hardcore fan of the book or the movie, then you might be able to find some enjoyment out of the game, but anyone else may want to steer clear of this one or perhaps try one of the other versions.

There is a good amount of material to be seen within this cartridge. Some of it is above average (art style, technical achievement, story), and others are disappointing (sound, mechanics, block-on-grid puzzles). The one truly abysmal flaw is the lack of an internal battery to save the game, which is unacceptable for today's standards, even more so in a portable system.

In reality, Dragon Blade is a fairly difficult game... but for all the wrong reasons. It's not a game that requires a lot of skill or strategy, and instead is difficult only because of the crappy controls and high level of patience you'll need in order to finish the game.

On the positive side, the graphics, although not the sharpest, do their job, and there is a good variety of side quests and characters to interact with. On the negative, value is low, the monsters look silly, dialogs are uninteresting, plot is nothing out of the ordinary, and sound is abysmal.

If you’re dying to play a game like this, then EA’s Lord of the Rings games are very similar and far superior. And if you’re a die hard Eragon fan, then go with the GBA version instead and you’ll be a lot happier.

It is a dated game and it shows, but I believe RPG fans can have a good time, if they can look past some flaws that can be frustrating.

It is obvious when one looks at Wars and Warriors: Joan of Arc that it does not measure up to the standards that other games have set: a compelling story, exciting gameplay and impressive AI.

In short, diehard Fallout fans will be disappointed by Brotherhood of Steel, and even fans of hack-and-slash titles have much better options available to them. It's a bargain bin-title by now, though, so it's at least worth a thought.

The ability to choose your own destiny in Shadow the Hedgehog is cool, but much of that is overshadowed by the problems with the camera, controls, targeting, and so on.

It is a shame that a game based on such a successful franchise seems to have been rushed to be released, making it a short, (at times) disappointing, flawed experience, and giving the impression that it is just filler for Pokemon fans, being the 1st Pokemon game to come out on the Nintendo DS.

Land of Legends is a nice concept with accessible an accessible and well rounded core game. But the lack of depth dramatically undermines this games entertainment value.
