No need to go overboard: Warzone 2.0 is an excellent sequel that builds on the very good foundations of its predecessor. Above all, this is not a simple update. The new battle royale opts for a more tactical and "realistic" approach to loot, playing perfectly in concert with other new features (proximity chat, areas with several circles, bases guarded by AI, etc.). As a result, the experience is renewed and still very effective, thanks to a great game engine and top-notch shooting sensations. Finally, we just have a few reservations about artificial intelligence, which should be reviewed, especially given its new importance in games, and for the famous DMZ mode, which still lacks a lot of challenges at the moment. For the rest, it's free and it's an excellent game. Let's go!- Jeuxvideo.com

This port on PC is particularly successful and guarantees us to have a good time. It does not suffer from any slowdown and its overall quality remains very high, regardless of the configuration used. Thus, this PC version of Miles Morales is a golden opportunity to discover or rediscover the adventures of the spider-man, in particular thanks to its excellent gameplay and its very good handling. A grandiose Manhattan, a difficulty in the hair and a lifespan quite acceptable for a game of the genre, you will not regret your purchase.- Jeuxvideo.com

Highly anticipated after a Sword / Shield that was a little too shy and Arceus much more daring, but very different, PokƩmon Scarlet / Purple clearly advances a license that has always stagnated too much, and takes many paying risks. If we manage to ignore the really disappointing graphics, it's a safe bet that this 9th generation of PokƩmon will be a milestone. Game Freak has clearly understood very well how to design an open world with non-linear progression, ideally thought out for a series that needed this much appreciated little facelift. One day, perhaps, the technical aspect will follow and the holders of the most profitable franchise in the world will offer us a real revolution capable of making an impression. In the meantime, we remain on a very satisfying episode which is good for the license.- Jeuxvideo.com

With its slick aesthetic close to illuminations and its implacable authenticity, Pentiment is a scintillating tribute to the Renaissance era. It is also granted some rather intriguing crime scenes, a handful of funny scenes and above all a successful time structure and choices that really matter. Too bad that his story sometimes so laborious and a last act slightly winded are so many thorny elements.- Jeuxvideo.com

Very respectful of the hit of yesteryear, Arkanoid Eternal Battle is adorned with a successful electro look and new mechanics that will delight fans of the genre. Uninhibited brick breaker, the Pastagames title has the good idea of integrating an ingenious Battle Royale mode, but also a single or multiplayer mode for long winter evenings. If the content could be more generous ā if only in terms of rewards ā the room for improvement is such that we come back to it regularly to improve our reflexes. A good little game that is just waiting for a large community to give full meaning to the Battle Royale.- Jeuxvideo.com

Like the other episodes before it, Football Manager 2023 has the daunting task of convincing series regulars to checkout and attract newcomers. A successful bet, for a title that is still just as complete, precise and addictive once a game has started... Without bringing any major revolution in terms of playability, this new component, in addition to playing it safe with the same winning recipe, poses when even new solid bases, with the arrival of a strong and iconic license like the Champions League and an interesting management of the supporters, until then a little left on the side. This is enough to ensure an even deeper immersion... but not to the point of offering us a major revolution.- Jeuxvideo.com

Transforming a historically linear formula into an open world is not easy, and the Sonic Team is doing it without managing to avoid all the pitfalls that such a change imposes, starting with the repetitiveness of the adventure, a perfectible technique and a camera in difficulty. However, this new Sonic experience blows a breath of fresh air on the saga with its titanic combats, its open-world "platformer" approach and its desire to push its own limits, even if it means losing control.- Jeuxvideo.com

More successful than Asterix & Obelix XXL 3, OSome Studio's work has a few flaws, but can count on its most successful Celtic atmosphere, its fun fights (with a host of interactive objects) and its humor. It's not perfect yet, but the Lyon team doesn't lack much to cap the best titles of the genre. The big leap for 2023?- Jeuxvideo.com

Despite one, maybe two, well-functioning Horror item(s) and Rose's powers adding a new way to progress, this DLC is only of interest to players who enjoyed the main title. A story with rose water that we would have liked much tastier...- Jeuxvideo.com

Trust us, you'll love experiencing the prophetic end of the world in God of War Ragnarok. This new episode contains a moving, epic, generous and extremely dense epic. Santa Monica does at least very well in every aspect of its game and promises to make you feel a string of emotions, enough to brush aside its few weaknesses. And then if the sensations in terms of gameplay are not upset by drastic changes, they remain exceptional and are filled with very beautiful additions. If you thought that the Nordic saga would have nothing new to offer, the adventure of Ragnarok quickly shows you the opposite.- Jeuxvideo.com

With very solid foundations that do honor to the 2019 opus, the series innovates, bringing new gameplay, new equipment clearly welcome. Above all, the progression is much smoother - with a nice job on the system to unlock weapons! Somewhere, everything is done to welcome new players and this is a very good point. Even the third-person mode is surprisingly successful. Overall, this opus will undoubtedly lose the purists accustomed to faster gameplay. For the rest, if you want to indulge yourself with frenetic action, this is ideal. [Multiplayer Review Score = 80]- Jeuxvideo.com

Bayonetta 3 definitely marks the comeback of the Platinum Games witch. With this new adventure, Bayonetta proves once again that she is the queen of beat'em up by offering battles that are still as exhilarating and spectacular as ever, which are sublimated here thanks to many new weapons and the mechanics of summoning demons. which changes the way of fighting. In addition to being a superb beat'em up, the title does not forget to offer a certain variety, both in its more open levels and in its game phases, in particular by making us play other characters like Viola and Joan. And then, the adventure is all the more pleasant to go through as it benefits from a high frame rate in combat, an epic staging, but also a more serious scenario which delivers a grandiose outcome. . Obviously, this episode is not perfect for all that, with its sometimes messy confrontations, its graphics far from being impeccable or its wiser side than usual, but it remains a new memorable adventure nonetheless. Clearly worth the long wait.- Jeuxvideo.com

The adventures of Anu, Octavio and Fran struggle to achieve the furious madness that we have come to expect from a game stamped Borderlands. Sometimes irreverent, often conventional, the title signed Gearbox is satisfied with the union minimum for an Interactive Drama of 2022 in terms of gameplay. The virtual absence of Cornelian choices and the rhythm which collapses after the third chapter prevent him from forgiving his lack of ambition. The problem with New Tales from the Borderlands isn't that it doesn't reinvent the wheel, but that it spins the genre around in circles. Fortunately, his humor gives him a significant sympathy capital.- Jeuxvideo.com

Gotham Knights, orphan of the iconic figure of Batman, takes up the torch with panache. Our heroes honor the Dark Knight for an exhilarating adventure inspired by comic books. The city of Gotham, darker than ever, the technical and nervous fights, and the complementarity of the four vigilantes blow a breath of super-heroic freshness on the universe of Batman. Without being perfect with its camera flaws and sometimes redundant missions, the Warner Games title hits hard and proves that Batman is not the only hero worthy of the name in Gotham.- Jeuxvideo.com

As you will have understood, the PC port of Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection does everything that is asked of it and that is very good. On this new medium, the latest adventures of Nathan Drake and ChloƩ Frazer gain even more realism, thanks to a resolution and a framerate now at its maximum. We note here some improvements in terms of aliasing and lighting effects compared to the PS5 version. It's very simple, the Naughty Dog blockbuster has never been so sumptuous.- Jeuxvideo.com

A Plague Tale: Requiem is the game of confirmation. That of a sister's faith in her little brother when the world crumbles at the foot of their defeat. Then, that of the great talent of Asobo Studios. Offering richer gameplay without upsetting the formula, this sequel never forgets the essentials in relation to the genre it targets. Amicia's desperate fight is at least as magnificent as the graphics and soundtrack that drive the work. The infiltration mechanics can challenge, and we would have liked a final finishing coat, but none of the defects encountered tarnish our judgment: with Requiem, the Bordeaux studio delivers a great vintage. Dark red as death.- Jeuxvideo.com
