Rift has always been an immersive contender in a market that is tough to compete in. Yet not only has Rift survived, it has flourished - well enough to support an expansion, and Trion Worlds shows love for their game's community with this monster of an update. Many players swear by Rift, and with such a strong and lovingly-crafted expansion, it seems likely that the number will grow. If you already play Rift, then by now you know what an awesome addition Storm Legion is to the game. If not, consider this deep and complex MMORPG a worthy contender for your time.

Call of Duty: WWII is precisely what fans have been clamouring for over the last few years – A return to traditional boots-on-the-ground gameplay with an increased focus on skill and I have no doubt that it will resonate with fans in a way that the last few games have failed to manage.

A nice upgrade from WRC 7, there’s finally a legitimate competitor for the Dirt series. Still, WRC 8 is best suited for those with a wheel setup and/or already fans of the rally race concept.

Overall Nexomon on Switch is much better served in the sequel Nexomon:Extinction, than in this version. Whilst having its moments of fun and slightly addictive gameplay, it is still at its core a mobile game that’s really best enjoyed in smaller 5-10 increments rather than a proper hour or two of normal playtime. It was disappointing to see that no effort was made to update the game from the mobile with the exception of the removal of micro transactions. At £9.99 it is not the most expensive game and would be good for those of you who want to scratch that monster catching itch before the new Pokemon games come out.

A fun, light-hearted entry into the now packed Boomer Shooter genre that does enough different to stand out from the pack. Its addition of bullet-hell style mechanics and use of comedy make this one worth a look.

I’m really not big on all the extra “content” jammed on top of the actual golf but it’s pretty easy to quickly skip through. The graphics of the courses are stunning and it’s a pleasure to go from hole to hole just enjoying the recreation of some of the best golf courses in the world. The swing mechanics are easy to pick up and perhaps a bit more of a challenge to master but as you play you certainly do learn the tricks to improve your game. Highly recommended, more so if you don’t mind turning off the commentary and maybe the music.

Luto is a masterful psychological horror experience that transforms grief into a living, breathing environment. ChainStaff is a fast-paced action platformer built around a single, highly flexible weapon that blends combat and movement into one system. You explore alien-infested environments while making choices that affect your abilities, progression, and how the story unfolds. It’s a game focused on experimentation, replayability, and learning how to master its unique traversal and combat flow.

With this Definitive Edition, players can now play all three Mafia games together giving the player many hours inside the world these teams created. I highly recommend this game to new and older players alike.

Loyal fans of the MechWarrior franchise will happily induct this release into their gaming library with all due respect and reverence, and deservedly so. There is enough in this game to enjoy, especially several hours of genuine down-to-metal battle. As an RPG story line, this game seems to lack a strong compelling story line. As a platform for Mech battles and team-ups with friends, there is some serious fun to be had here.

The Walking Dead Season two Episode one “All That Remains” is a nice start to season two. Full of emotional moments that carry the story forward and keep us interested.

In conclusion Call of Juarez Bound in Blood is a breath of fresh air to an overly populated World War II or Modern Military first person shooter experience.

If you have played the original, the game is almost a copy of the Zuma, however if you're a fan and want something a little different, or if you're after a good puzzle game, than Zuma's Revenge is the perfect indulgence to both casual and hardcore gamers!

The First Berserker: Khazan is a standout title that successfully blends challenging gameplay, stunning visuals, and atmospheric audio to create a compelling experience for fans of the Souls-like genre.

The story grabs you immediately and maintains a steady drip-feeding of excitement throughout its playtime and the game is just overall a refined, lovingly crafted adventure that will appeal to even those who are generally turned off by “card battle” games, as the content and gameplay here goes much deeper than that.

Detroit Become Human is one of the great games of 2018. If you are still on the fence about it, then check out the free Demo with the first chapter. This way you can tell if it is your thing or not. After you have finished playing this game and maybe another shot, you’ll be missing this world dearly.

An homage to Darkstalkers more than anything, Capcom Fighter Collection is well packaged, presented and executed. There’s not a lot of title diversity, but a few make their first overdue appearance outside of Japan and arcades.

A short but well written story, a new game mode and some updates to Clive's abilities. The Rising Tide caps off an amazing pair of DLC stories that leaves me wanting so much more.

Needless to say, if you want a game that is not your stereotypical Western game, than you really need to check out Yakuza, especially if you enjoyed Shenmue and the previous Yakuza titles.

Descenders is an exhilirating downhill mountain biking game with responsive controls, interesting progression mechanics and a fantastic sense of speed.

It's a cross between a toy, card game and arcade game which makes Skylander: Spyro's Adventure such a compelling game from start to finish and then several more revisits. The

All up, and if you are interested in NFL football, Madden 12 is a great game to get you into the sport and you will most certainly have a much better understanding of American football if you are not that well versed in the game.

A Way Out is an ambitious co-op only, split-screen only adventure game with a compelling story, interactive environments and fun ideas that's a little messy in execution but fun with a friend.

Ys Memoires: The Oath in Felghana is a perfectly serviceable port of the PSP original to modern consoles. Offering some nice quality of life improvements and remastered audio and visuals while maintaining the essence of the original release.

For Honor: Marching Fire is a great DLC expansion that introduces a fun new set of heroes to play as, movesets to master and game modes to enjoy. Even if you don’t pay for the content, you still get access to a variety of graphical improvements, and Breach Mode’s grand scale has made it one of my favourite new competitive multiplayer experiences in recent times.

The controls can be a bit tricky to master but that’s also to be expected from a reasonably new technology (at least for home use). But what you do get is a massive world that you can just roam around in, you get to play with your good ol’ pal Dog Meat. I’ve spent longer in Fallout 4 VR than any other VR experience before and my play times themselves are far longer than any other playtime (averaging about 3 hours at a time). I am arguably a Fallout apologist so keep that in mind, but if like me you love the Fallout World (and previously only got to experience it in a “forced” VR experience via software hacks) then I think you are going to be more than happy with the experience… now if you’ll excuse me I need to go and hunt a Death Claw.

“Crash Course” small campaign that it is, is extremely satisfying, gibing hints of some new visuals and design elements to come for the series.

Yoshi's Woolly World is a superbly entertaining game on the Nintendo Wii U that ticks all the right boxes for fun gameplay!
