The gameplay is flawless as are the graphics which creates one of the finest games of 2013 and will be a contender for Game of the Year. It's easy to see why this is the most expensive game ever created and will be the most psychological game that you have ever played!

One of the best Zelda games to date and it’s also the perfect game for the Nintendo Switch due to its portability. It’s a very well-crafted game with some wonderful gaming mechanics and nothing feels contrived or limited but rather, it creates a very engaging open-world experience and one that feels real on so many levels.

GTA 5 is still one of the best games money can buy and with the added features of the latest edition, it is worth upgrading your last gen copy.

Ultimately you will get everything you expected from GTA 5 for PC; a tremendous game with many months of playability and the potential to only get better.

Rather than reinvent the wheel, it gives the gamer a classical gaming experience with a 21st century feel and play. Sure there are a few frustrating moments in the game but in what game isn't?

Absolutely highly recommend. If you were a fan of the originals… jump in without fear of being disappointed. If you are new to CRPGs, grab a copy and start here… it’s layered but you can explore at your own pace and learn as you go… easy to start, not too tricky to “master”… or at least manage.

Speaking of some of the things Batman does in the game, there are new emphasis on Batman's sleuthing abilities and gadgets to assist in crime scene analysis. This is in addition to the detective mode from the first game. Which is pretty awesome since there are so many new and different things in this game it breaks it up and makes it that much more interesting.

If I had to sum up the game in two words, it would be "captivating" and "cool" as developers BioWare have really gone beyond the original and have made a large toy box, even bigger.

A must play for action-RPG fans looking for deep combat systems and an expansive open-world that truly rewards exploration.

If you are sitting on the fence about whether or not to get Skyrim, get it. It is worth it a million times over. The amount of time you could spend in this game is practically endless. The only potentially bad thing is that you could lose sleep because you won't want to stop playing.

Tears of the Kingdom captures and improves upon everything it's predecessor was. The sky was they limit and they certainly reached it.

Red Dead Redemption is more than just some basic concepts with a new coat of paint. Standing on it's own two feet, with out comparing it to anything else from Rockstar's past games...(Because of course something years later sure as heck should be better.).....Red Dead Redemption is a stellar game.

The Last of Us is truly what a game can aspire to. It’s a full interactive experience package.

Persona 5 Royal is the definitive edition of Persona 5 and one of the best Japanese role-playing games this generation has produced. The original was already packed full of over a hundred hours worth of content, but the 30+ hours of new additions offer some serious replay value. Both returning fans and new players will enjoy Royal immensely thanks to its new wealth of content, performance and visual enhancements, and gameplay refinements that make the experience better than the original. The story and characters are as interesting and memorable as before and the new semester and cast flesh out the Phantom Thieves for the better.

The Last of Us Remastered Edition enhances an already perfect game on the PlayStation 3 to something even more powerful on the PS4.

Red Dead Redemption is easily and will probably be the best game of 2010 and the developers should be commended on the amazing attention to detail.

Metal Gear Solid V Phantom Pain is an interactive piece of art that truly pays homage to the original game and successfully expands the franchise into an open-world game.

After completing Portal 2, it's great that Valve have continued on their original premise because this is the perfect game for those gamers caught in the doldrums of endless first person shooters, racers and sport games. Originality is the key here and Valve have succeeded on just about every surreal and cerebral level with its puzzles.

As an arcade game, Astro Bot ticks all the right boxes and really challenges the medium but in a good way with its crazy mechanics, sturdy controls and next-gen experience, particularly with the DualSense Controller. As the game delves into the history of PlayStation, there are some fantastic cameos that you will encounter during your adventures that nicely bring its homage all together.

Irrational Games have found the perfect formula for Bioshock Infinite, almost flawless gameplay, graphics and sound plus a mysterious story about a broken city of gold but where the game goes beyond its predecessors is with the inclusion of one of the most realistic AI characters to have ever graced a game.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is solid continuation of the original Modern Warfare.

If both Uncharted 4 and The Last of Us are the ten out of ten benchmarks for the action-adventure genre, then God of War sits just below them.

In total, Shadow of the Erdtree is up there with the best add-ons FromSoftware has released (yes, including Bloodborne: The Old Hunters). A must play for hardcore fans and new players who (wisely) waited for the full package, and highly recommended overall.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is not just a good game but it's a great game and really showcases the capabilities of Nintendo's latest and greatest console, the 3DS. With amazing visuals, a sturdy control system and 3D to die for, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is a must have title for the 3DS and if you're into adventure games, than it doesn't get more adventurous than this.

Mass Effect 2 is one of the best RPG titles on the PS3 in quite some time and usually this genre is quite neglected or has poor third party releases.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt provides a next-gen facelift for this immersive role-playing game with its all DLC's and some of the best player mods!

From character clothing, to the architecture of buildings and the molding’s and bits of machinery and piping that seem to have something to do with how the city is staying in the air. It fires the imagination and puts that spark into adventure once again.

If you are on the fence with this game, trust me, this is a title that you will regret missing out on if you wait for the price to go down. It is so heavily story dependent that there is no way you will be able to go on social media without inadvertently finding out things that should be a pleasant surprise discovered within the game itself! I employ you to make sure you grab your copy at launch so as not to miss a single special moment by yourself and not through the experience of others. God of War: Ragnarok is just that; an experience to be treasured.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is solid continuation of the original Modern Warfare.

It deserves it as well, because The Walking Dead is a great game, one that truly pushes what can be done with a video game narrative that cannot be done in film or TV.

The Last of Part II is a very powerful and moving narrative that fully immerses you into the story of Ellie and the world around her. In terms of gameplay, it is a flawless experience on the PlayStation 4 and together, The Last of Us Part II is easily one of the best games in a long-time.

At the end of the day, Rockstar have created a fun game in Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars that features an entertaining story, interesting characters and gameplay that only the Nintendo DS can boast about.

Hades is a masterclass in game design. It flawlessly integrates its incredible story with its exceptional gameplay in ways that very few games have been able to achieve before it. The gameplay is tight, complex and addictively fun to engage with. The visuals are absolutely stunning and the music is phenomenal. I racked my brain trying to come up with some form of criticism, but the only thing that comes to mind is the rare framerate drops that can occur when the combat arenas overflow with enemies, but this only happened on two or three occasions over the course of my time with the game. Hades has raised the bar for Rogue-lites and is absolutely worth your time.

It’s fun, it’s fast and it’s the best multiplayer experience on the Wii U!

This is how sequels should be made and if you're a fan of this gaming genre, you definitely need to add this to your collection now! Brilliant!

The game runs better than on any other platform and is decked out with all the settings imaginable with bonus content to boot. Replaying through the grand adventure that is Kratos and Atreus’ story was also a delight. So if you’re a hardcore fan of God of War like I am or have never played the game, then I implore you to do so on PC if possible as its so far the most optimal way to play it.

At the end of the day, CAPCOM have created a true successor to the Street Fighter series with great anime inspired graphics and good old fashioned fighting fun that has probably not been seen in quite some time.

While a port to the PlayStation 5, Hades is still a masterclass in game design on this next-gen console. It flawlessly integrates its incredible story with its exceptional gameplay in ways that very few games have been able to achieve before it. The gameplay is tight, complex and addictively fun to engage with. The visuals are absolutely stunning and the music is phenomenal on the PS5 with none of the “issues” of the Nintendo Switch version. So if you’re seeking a compelling game to invest your time in, this Rogue-Lite game called Hades is absolutely worth it!

With a well written story, relatable characters and a mystery that draws you in, Personal 4 Golden is definitely the game the PS Vita needed!

With engaging social simulation gameplay, addictive turn-based combat systems and an unmatched visual style, Persona 5 is the ultimate Japanese role-playing game any PlayStation 4 owner, newbie or hardcore fan, should give a fair go in 2017.

The bottom line? I would heartily recommend this game to any Western Enthusiast or just anyone who would like to play some G.T.E. (Grand Theft Equus).

In conclusion, Gears of War 2 is truly an epic game that goes beyond its predecessor and offers gamers another truly outstanding gaming experience.

I can say that Mass Effect 3 is indeed an epic conclusion for Commander Shepard's role in the Mass Effect Universe.

Resident Evil 4 Remake is a faithful reimagining that brings the beloved survival-horror classic into the modern era with a host of new features, content tweaks and graphical updates.

It’s emotional, it’s powerful but more importantly, it’s probably going to be the most memorable game of the series with a theme of redemption and forgiveness!

The bottom line is this is a fully-featured, portable Super Smash Bros. game that looks fantastic, has a ridiculous amount of content and plays exactly like you want it to. This is the perfect place for newcomers to jump into the series and a fantastic title that veterans will absolutely devour.

Although the solo modes are fun, nothing is more enjoyable than pitting your skills against real-world opponents as it turns the sometimes generic racing into a virtual racing frenzy.

A fan-faithful remake rebuilt from the ground up and jam-packed with quality content. A package both longtime Resident Evil fans and newbies will enjoy.

Not only would I recommend playing this game I would put it under the category of required playing especially as it is very competitively priced for a game that has obviously had a huge amount of work put it to perfecting it.

The Case of the Golden Idol is a game every Holmes fan and would-be detective should check out. Its narrative is winding and captivating, the mechanics are tight and the presentation will make long-time adventure game fans smile in delight. It’s elementary, The Case of the Golden Idol is one line of inquiry well worth following to the end.

Maestro: The Masterclass is a must have game if you yearn for Guitar Hero but from a conductor perspective which is perfectly executed on the Meta Quest.

It’s great that Playground Games have not rested on their laurels but have created a game that not only looks amazing but more importantly plays well on the Xbox One/X. The gameplay mechanics work well and whether you’re playing this online or offline, there’s plenty to do and see. Given how much fun I’ve had with Forza Horizon 4, it will definitely become my go to game in the months to come, especially with its online component. So if you’re looking for some racing fun that packs a punch, Forza Horizon 4 is definitely that game!

When it comes to the crunch, God of War III delivers on many levels, just as the previous two titles. However with the inclusion of next-generation graphics and gameplay, God of War III transcends its predecessors with a surreal and bloody gaming experience that makes you feel like you are part of some Greek epic.

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception is not just a game but a true masterpiece in the gaming world which is a must have title for all owners of the PS3.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth improves on Remake in every conceivable way. The sense of wonder the game instils is immense. This is the definitive way to experience Final Fantasy VII.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder is a return to greatness and Nintendo should be commended on paying homage to the classic 2d platforming archetype but then redesigning it for the modern gamer. Best of all, no matter what your age, you’ll have a blast playing Super Mario Bros. Additionally it makes for the perfect party game and local co-op is a true blast!

Forza Horizon 5 is indeed the FAST & FURIOUSLY good and if you’re looking for a true next-gen racer, it’s finally arrived! And like Dom Toretto, Forza Horizon 5 lets you live your virtual life at a quarter mile at a time.

This game has got characters that you actually care about, a story that is very engaging from the get go and almost flawless gaming mechanics.

Arguably the best Street Fighter ever, Street Fighter 6 is a gorgeous presentation and playing masterpiece not to be missed.

For now, Forza 3 is easily the most impressive and realistic racing simulation on any console and its online community as mentioned before is unparalleled.

No longer soul of the lost, and withdrawn from its (PS3) vessel, Bluepoint has transformed a cult classic into a modern next-gen marvel.

Batman: Arkham Asylum is the ultimate Batman experience, hands down.

With a strong homage to the games before it and the inclusion of new gameplay plus 3D, Fire Emblem: Awakening ticks all the right boxes and creates a thoroughly entertaining turn based tactical RPG that not only challenges the player but is also quite fun to play.

Divinity: Original Sin II – Definitive Edition is the best way for PC, PS4 and Xbox One players to experience Larian Studios’ masterpiece. The transition to consoles has been a smooth one, and PC players who own the original get rewarded with a free upgrade – meaning there’s no excuse to not jump into Rivellon for another playthrough. The Definitive Edition adds so much more content and quality-of-live improvements to an already great base game, it’s a must-play for isometric RPG aficionados everywhere who value a crazy amount of complexity, interactivity and replayability in their role-play.

Metaphor: ReFantazio is one of this year’s best games and another home run for the Persona team. Though technically a new IP for the studio, Metaphor feels like a refinement of the heady blend of tight turn-based combat, superb world-building, and clever time management systems their spellbinding JRPGs are known for. Even more important though, it’s a game with heart and something worthwhile to say. Though it may be Fantazio, Metaphor successfully holds a mirror up to our world and all its injustices, while proposing that a better, fairer, kinder one is within reach if only we dared to take hold of it.

Even after all these years, Bayonetta 2 on the Nintendo 2 is still a very fun experience with a great gaming engine, exceptional graphics and a female protagonist that will make you laugh and also give you a healthy dose of controller rage. Best of all, Bayonetta 2 adds to the franchise with more crazy gameplay and a ridiculous story but more importantly, a decent Nintendo Switch experience.

If you didn’t like FFXIV before now, Endwalker will do nothing to change your mind. But if you’re in, this emotional rollercoaster will be rolling towards a satisfying conclusion, that absolutely will not disappoint.

With a rather easy learning curve, this game can be played by a variety of people and whether you're a newbie or veteran gamer, Xenoblade Chronicles provides an immersive world filled with action and story that easily allows you to play it again and again. Recommended!

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is another must have title for the Nintendo Switch and is a racer that is accessible by everyone, whether a veteran gamer, casual gamer or even someone who has never played before. So if you’re looking for some great racing fun on the Switch, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on all levels… it’s a me, Mario Kart!

If you’re a lover of fighters and you can only afford one game for 2010, than I highly suggest you check out Super Street Fighter IV that is easily one of the most enjoyable and challenging fighting experiences that I have played in the last few years.

Little big Planet Planet will take time to master but if you have the patience, the rewards will be endless. Highly Recomended!

Inside is a masterclass in minimalist design. Enthralling and enjoyable.

With a strong starting point in terms of aircraft to use and the fact that you can fly to/from anywhere in the world and the promise of more content in the future (especially the teased VR update in the not too distant future), I really can’t recommend this enough to fans of flight! Visually stunning and a challenge if you want it to be, or a reasonably calm flight of fancy if you want that. Perhaps a little pricey, but some extreme flight simulators can go for much more, so it’s somewhat relative.

Bayonetta 2 is perfect on all levels that supports a flawless gaming engine, exceptional graphics and kick-ass female protagonist.

Overall I’m thrilled with the game, there are settings that make it easy to just pick up and have an easy fight… or you can ramp up the difficulty and really challenge yourself to become the best fighter you can. Highly recommended for old fans and new fans alike!

Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition is the ultimate JRPG package, jam-packed with dozens of hours of content and new quality of life improvements made even better with the Nintendo Switch’s portability factor. The game simultaneously celebrates its past and indulges in the old-school roots of the genre while simultaneously modernising it for the current generation, resulting in one of the best JRPGs of this generation. The Switch port is a labour of love with impressive visuals, rock-solid performance and ample fan-service that should be experienced by anyone looking for the perfect role-playing game experience on-the-go.

Weapons and equipment are equally as diverse as the characters and whether that’s shurikens, mines or guns, everything has a place.

It’s graphically amazing, boasts perfect in-game mechanics and overall, the single-player and multiplayer components work on all levels. Yes, it’s pretty much perfect with a great open-world illusion set in beautiful Australia and the only thing is missing, is that smell of rubber!

There is a lot to do in Borderlands 2, and even finishing the main story opens up additional quests, and the possibility to go back and pursue any side-quests that may have been missed the first time around. If there is one thing the game delivers in spades apart from its quantity, it's fun.

A beautiful expansion on top of an already amazing journey. If you had any doubts about longevity, Shadowbringerss crushes it.

This timeless fantasy is as emotionally compelling as it was all those years ago. A stunning adventure that still has plenty to offer.

The Witcher 3 Blood and Wine provides a fitting conclusion to the story of Geralt of Rivia!

If you're a fan of the Halo series and were a little disappointed with ODST and a little apprehensive in purchasing this title, don't be. Bungie have redeemed themselves by not only creating an engaging and coercive story but have brought the game back to its roots and tweaked the gameplay, both offline and online to make this the definitive game of the series.

Many ports turn out to be dumbed-down, stripped-of-spirit versions of the console versions. Luckily, XCOM is different. It is excellent.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a phenomenal game in almost every aspect. It is engaging, exciting, dramatic, emotional, thought-provoking, and incredibly memorable.
