Sword of the Sea is a moving work of art, a visual spectacle capable of taking your breath away. Its gameplay is a delight, as is its soundtrack. However, the story is too basic and fails to connect with the player as much as it should.

Metroid Dread is pure love for the franchise. It takes the elements of the classic 2D games and unites them with the evolving essence of Metroid Fusion, introducing many others that work perfectly. It doesn't give off such a magical aura and there are things to improve, but it establishes itself as one of the best games on the console.

The successful incorporation of the 3D World style, the maximum interest and invitation with the puzzle levels or all the inclusions for the multiplayer in all its aspects (especially when the patch arrives), compensate for the Story mode which has not been so inspired or that it remains somewhat tedious both on the touch screen with your finger and with the console in the Dock.

A nice ending for Fire Emblem Fates, but not a perfect one. Revelation makes the same mistakes than the other two versions of the game.

The king of the 4X games is back and it has come with a golden crown. Firaxis has made a whole new Civ with a taste both of the past and the present. Perfect for newcomers and a challenge for the experienced ones.

PC players finally have the chance to try one of the best games of the year. After a great success in other platforms, it is time to play it in our PCs. Still, it needs a really high-specifications device in order to work properly.

A fantastic version of Diablo III to enjoy, this time, on the Nintendo hybrid console. And it comes with all the current content of this title that has been designed to be replayed almost infinitely, and on almost any platform. The portable version and the possibility of playing at home are what we like the most. And least of all, the fact that we cannot cross party with our Battle.net account. A small drawback to be able to enjoy a title that returns to feel like new in a new platform (and we must remember that Diablo III is a game that is already 6 years old). Almost nothing.

Deadfire is the first time Obsidian gets to work on a sequel of its own and that makes the game special. The open world approach to its narrative is really interesting. They managed to build a new game looking to the future of the studio but not forgetting the genre's past.

Night in the Woods is an universal game about the fear of becoming and adult. A fear to struggle with politics, money and family. A fear to lose your beloved ones and yourself. A fear to life itself. But it's also a survival guide to life and adulthood and one of the best written videogames of the last few months.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 mixes all the ingredients we've seen for years in RPGs and combines them into an unfamiliar, but very enjoyable new recipe. It's hard to get into, but once you do, there's no turning back.

DMC5 makes even better what this franchise does best, improving on its formula in almost every way, but doesn't do anything new In the process. The game doesn't has any hiccups or problems, so if you are the kind of gamer that loves these frantic action games, you'll be more than happy with Capcom's latest creation.

The only reason we might not consider Final Fantasy VII Remake a masterpiece is because the play is not over. But it is a work of art. A love letter to the original, written directly on your DualShock 4. Square Enix dresses in Squaresoft, fulfills all its promises and recovers the magic. In short, the remake is just what we expected: a dream come true.

Guilty Gear Strive is a hyperbolic exercise in style in the fighting genre, the next step in a path initiated by Arc System Works that combines form and substance to create a new instalment that reaffirms the strength of a saga that, despite being niche, is practically undeniable. Lucid to achieve that "easy to play, difficult to master", as precise as it is enjoyable in combat and concise in its proposal. A must for fans of the genre and a safe bet for anyone in the mood for great fights to the rhythm of good guitar playing.

Atlus has done more than just a port with some improvements. Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is a successful game that surpasses its predecessor, a challenge to the conventions of the SMT saga itself and a more accessible gateway for new players, but one that veterans will enjoy as well.
