To put it simply: Hades is Supergiant's best work to date and one of the best games of 2020. Top level gameplay, story, design, art, and soundtrack come together to form the most addictive roguelite ever. You can escape from the Underworld, but not from this game.

This Definitive Edition is a perfect example of what every remake should be. It keeps the original storyline, great characters and style, but improves every technical aspect, adds new gameplay mechanics (such as hand to hand combat or motorbikes) and deepens the story. It still feels like a Martin Scorsese movie.

WWE 2K Battleground is an interesting change of course, an arcade that's far from perfect, but is by far the most entertaining title that WWE has left in the recent years. It's fantastic for short sessions, with tons of unlockables (even with microtransactions), but it can be repetitive soon and some ideas are far from the right spot.

This collection bring back memories from two of the greatest Spanish games ever made, but gameplay feels outdated, the remaster fells short visually, and the use of gamepad is not implemented well enough.

It still is a great shooter, but it undoubtedly shows its age. The graphical improvements are just anecdotic.

Konami decided to release an updated version of last year (excellent) game. So we find the same game modes (added UEFA 2020 National Teams) and great controls, and we also find the same problems with teams, stadiums and players licenses.

Three fantastic games -one that feels a little old, one that still in good shape and another that is the same masterpiece- together in a somewhat lackluster compilation.

Vanillaware remains faithful to its own style, and now surprises us with a different adventure, 2/3 visual novel, 1/3 strategic combat game, but with a flawless visual style, a solid sci-fi plot and strategic combats with a nice touch. Maybe 13 Sentinels is not for everybody, but if you have a taste for different dishes, you will love it.

For a short time we feel like a true Jedi, with immersive lightsaber combat mechanics, use of the Force and great locations and characters. But Vader Immortal ends too soon, more like an experience than a complete game.

Tamarin had the ingredients to become a remarkable experience, but the final product is a weird and shocking mixture of tones and genres. It has its moments, but terrible camera movements and cumbersome exploration ruin the experience.

Hotshot Racing brings back memories from Virtua Racing and Ridge Racer. It´s a fast arcade, with a very interesting graphic approach and classic music, but it falls short on game modes, cars and circuits.

Coronavirus has extended the previous season of the NBA and next-gen is very close, so the timing is not the best for this entry in the franchise, which is very continuist. However, it is still a great basketball game.

A notable remastered work, especially when you take into account the original game's limitations, Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning is a great way to discover this universe and a well earned second chance for a game that was unfairly forgotten.

Marvel´s Avengers is a very ambitious game, with a spectacular single player campaign and multiplayer designed as an MMO, with an enjoyable combat system and the promise of lots of content and new heroes incoming. Some missions can get repetitive.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 moves between the old and new like fish on water. It offers the same control, the iconic levels and the gameplay we used to love, but with a new and shiny body that offers more options than ever. It's not perfect, but it's the skate game that lots of us were expecting.

Windbound is a game that presents a great approach, but fails to execute. However, despite its mistakes, it manages to stand out thanks to its artistic design, its own identity and a solidity in its survival system.

Wasteland 3 proves that inXile can make great games regardless of time. Only by playing it, you can tell that this new game of the franchise is far better and still enjoyable. Wasteland 3 is refreshing for old players, and fantastic to new players.

Struggling is a unique game: difficult, sometimes frustrating, full of nauseating characters, but incredibly fun. Coop multiplayer is also a great experience.

Rise of New Champions is a great anime adaptation. A fast and spectacular soccer arcade, with every player and special move from Captain Tsubasa, and two single player story modes that deepen the experience.

All the changes and additions are welcome, although the playable core is weighed by the years and the online options are not quite convincing. Fortunately, it still retains its charm.

No Straight Roads surprises with its insane yet attractive argument, its likeable protagonists and its eccentric bosses, in long and rich combat. But it's too short, the difficulty is inconsistent and, in general terms, its gameplay is less solid than its presentation. A case of style over substance, even if it's worth playing for the music alone.

Pistol Whip turns our weapon into a musical instrument so we can enjoy an incredible techno OST while shooting and dodging bullets in John Wick style.

Project CARS 3 is not a standard sequel. It takes a lot of content from the two previous games (including the realistic handling of the cars), but it adds some arcade ideas that work and make it look more like GRID.

Flight Simulator 2020 is a game that is launched with a modest amount of content that, however, will take years to master. It is a platform that will evolve over time, but it has a really fabulous visual, physical and control base.

Battletoads pays homage to the classic 1991 Rare game with a great variety of gameplay mechanics. Beat´em up levels are well crafted, 2D platform levels and twin stick shooter sections are not so good, but still enjoyable, while turbobikes levels are frustrating.

Mortal Shell is a great debut for Cold Symmetry, but it's not a perfect game. It has awesome ideas with the shells, but it is also an opaque world with no clear story.
