Resonance is an interesting story almost to the very end. A game that challenges fans of the genre by introducing some new things into the gameplay. It's a modest, pixelated clickfest that will take gamers on a long journey and give them lots of fun. Resonance reminds us that a game is first and foremost a story, a way to deliver something, a form of expression – much like a book, a comic or a movie.

On one hand we have to deal with lots of mistakes and bugs, mediocre graphics, a poor order giving system, stupid AI and a short single player campaign. On the other hand Spec Ops has expressive characters, cool locations (Dubai looks great) and a grown-up, memorable story. The most painful thing about Spec Ops: The Line is the fact that "unused potential" is the best way to describe it.

Close Quarters isn't able to stir up the same emotions as BF3 did, and turns it into a simple arcade shooter, similar to many other first person shooters out there. I won't deny, that an occasional match on Ziba Tower will happen for me, but my thoughts will stay with the original Battlefield 3.

TERA is a well done classic MMORPG with great attention to detail. It takes what is best from the genre and adds just enough original things to keep it fresh and interesting. And most of all - TERA is very pleasing to the eyes.

Despite a few setbacks, the new Civ V add-on has to be considered a very good one. Introduced novelties improve gameplay by adding some depth and color. Constant spy fighting and religious competition are the elements that were missing and now the game is complete.

Lollipop Chainsaw doesn't have to appeal to all slasher fans, but I think that both the design and behavior of the main character have a chance of breaking ice during the encounter with a conservative gamer that is not accustomed to Japanese style. Suda51 and his team seem to be on the rise recently - a good idea is paired with good execution.

If I were to jugde Krater by dismantling it into small parts and giving a grade to each one, this grade would be a 6. Krater has a spark and ideas, there's a lot of content and good fun, but there's also some boredom and repetitiveness. There was not enough time to polish the game. Krater has a lot of potential that will be used under two conditions: some of you will trust Fatshark and buy their game, and Fatshark will keep its promise and expand the game.

Game of Thrones creates mixed feelings in the player. Story-wise it's a true gem. The protagonists' fates are very interesting and all the events expand and at the same time fit perfectly into George R.R. Martin's brutal universe. Unfortunately - in order to see the finale you have to endure hundreds of monotonous fights with an interesting, but flawed fighting mechanic.

Iron Front: Liberation 1944 struggles with the tag "ArmA II with WWII units". Unfortunately the game fails to show that it's something more than that. Iron Front brings new errors to the Real Virtuality engine, and sometimes it manifests some new errors - therefore it creates a time machine to the year 2009. Of course, there are patches that fix some of the flaws, but the gamers' have been offered an inferior product.

For those players that have mastered the Colin McRae series and previous DiRTs, the new game is a waste of time. You can try playing and be sure that you won't die of boredom, but you have to remember that there are almost no innovations and the driving mechanic is simpler than ever.

All in all, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is a good game that tries too hard to fit into a market shaped by Call of Duty's success. Ubisoft's race against other franchises looks quite well, but losing the series' roots can be disappointing.

Collection 1 is an interesting initiative and a good purchase for all lovers of Infinity Ward's multiplayer. All new maps are quality products that reveal the flaws of original maps. Simply put: this add-on is worth recommending and two new ops are an additional asset to consider.

It's true, that the Japanese can understand terms "learning curve" or "friendly user interface" differently. But who cares? After Dragon's Dogma it will be difficult for me to return to simple QTE or "click on enemy" gameplay. It's one of the best adventures on the current generation of consoles and a truly unique game, that tries to redefine and open-world action RPG.

Starhawk has some great moments. Situations that give the illusion of taking part in a great battle somewhere beyond and still dependent on the strategic skill of the players can be seen quite often. But the price is that you have to spend additional time playing.

Mortal Kombat for PlayStation Vita is a game worth your attention, especially if you haven't had the opportunity to check out last year's "big" MK and you miss the original installments. It's a great reboot - well made, reminiscent of the golden age, has lots of fantastic warriors and some unique bonuses.

Rockstar does it again. The new Max not only reminds us of his old tricks, but shows some new as well. Every minute you spend with Max Payne 3 gives you lots of fun and thanks to modes making you want to play again and a solid multiplayer the game won't become boring too soon.

The most recent installment in the Port Royale series has been flushed down the drain. A few cool ideas drowned in the Great Sea of Fail. The developers have managed to break almost everything there was to break. The magic of a sea merchant adventure is gone forever.

Sorcery is a good game that - despite low expectations - brings a fresh breeze into the genre and perhaps will become a source for new solutions in arcade games in general. PS Move's potential is used almost in its entirety and hopefully it will mark the beginning of high quality games for this controller.

Will we be playing Diablo III ten years from now and be as happy with it, as we are with its predecessor? No doubt. Even though the new Diablo has some technical issues and some solutions create controversies, the gameplay model is timeless. An interesting quest system, engrossing battles, versatile gameplay and a masterpiece of a multiplayer are only some of the game's qualities.

Sniper Elite V2 is a well-made game that suffers from some flaws. The biggest one: artificial intelligence. It's hard to overlook it's mistakes if they happen almost constantly. But other that that we get a meaty campaign with good co-op and multiplayer modes. Balistics - although a bit limited - gives a lot of satisfaction.

Grading this game isn't hard: it's a pleasant product for a reasonable price. It should appeal to players that are familiar with Fable series but that don't consider it to be something sacred. Remember that fun is dependent on the amount of friends playing with you.

I would really like to say that Datura is an exceptional game. An experiment that will unleash a storm showing a new way for story evolution in gaming. That's not the case - the game misses it's goal. But still it's an interesting take on the adventure genre, games in general and narration.

The Legend of Dead Kel was a very well made add-on with all the best things from the original game plus a variety of novelties and tweaks. Teeth of Naros is on the opposite side. It looks forced and without any engagement from it's creators. The story is dull and without surprises, side-quests are schematical and boring, and the amount of innovations is minimal.

A waek game in almost every aspect - the most painful being missing licences and castrated game modes, that were supposed to be the biggest advantages of this game. Well made stadiums, supporters' songs and new commentary track are not enough to justify a high price tag.

Tribes: Ascend is quite an acomplishment. The developers have managed to recreate atmosphere and gameplay from first two games of the series and still make it a game not only for the veterans. The end result is one of the best games with micro transactions on the market. You can spend nothing and have loads of fun being more than just cannon fodder for the paying customers.

The developers have cut corners and offer us only new missions with some minor flaws. But Condemned Heroes still can be fun. The problem is this: 1C have created a game for the most hardcore fans of the series only - those who have completed previous installments and want more. The rest should stay with basic Men of War and the Assault Squad expansion.

Bloodforge has an interesting world concept that is completely wasted. The game suffers from a chaotic fighting system, brainless AI and a flawed camera. Artism is buried under a pile of bugs and bad decisions. Perhaps the developers would try more if the game was to be something more than just a digital distribution product?

Prototype 2 is a solid game, but I want for it to be the best. Sandbox games tend to keep me entertained for a long time, therefore I like studios that are up for the challenge. Radical Entertainment did their homework - the game has seen a lot of work, but too few good ideas. What really works is the strength of the Prototype itself: it gives the player unique abilities in exchange for some invention.

The guys from Red Lynx made a good decision to keep the game's formula intact. You don't change what's been tested and what works. The base of the game is the same as before, but the amount of changes is big enough to make the game feel more than just a money grab. The title says it all - it's a well-prepared evolution.

Risen 2 is simply an another good game from Piranha Bytes. The developers prove that parting ways with their former partner - JoWooD Entertainment - has been a great decision. Risen 2 probably won't get any "RPG of the year" awards, but Gothic enthusiasts shouldn't care - Dark Waters will satisfy them fully, I'm sure.
