Dragon Quest 7 stands out for its calm, humane storytelling, and the remake makes this classic traditional JRPG the best way for genre fans to experience it today.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 avoids the pitfalls of Modern Warfare 3, offering a compelling spy campaign with smooth undercover missions and satisfying gunplay. Despite solid multiplayer and Zombies modes, it still feels - much like its predecessors - like a rehash of 2019’s Modern Warfare reboot.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 excels with timeless gameplay, precise controls, and creative features, though changes to THPS 4 and missing songs and levels slightly dampen an otherwise joyful experience.

Super Mario Party Jamboree improves on its predecessor with well-designed party boards and a great character selection, offering plenty of fun with friends. However, additional new play modes quickly lose appeal and feel like fillers.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard revives the series nearly a decade after Inquisition. BioWare successfully builds on past storylines, delivering well-developed characters and dynamics that make the world feel alive, even in the player's absence. Visually and technically updated, the game introduces essential innovations while retaining the core essence that fans love.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows delivers the familiar Ubisoft formula in a stunning Japanese setting but feels mechanically stagnant. The series desperately needs fresh ideas—this is its last chance.

Borderlands 4 expands with an open world, new mechanics, and complex skill trees that enhance combat, but design flaws, balancing issues, and tedious travel hold it back.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero delivers top-notch fan service. The fights look fantastic and are a lot of fun. The character selection is huge and includes lots of side characters from the movies. However, the fighting game lacks variety and long-term motivation.

The Outer Worlds 2 builds smartly on its predecessor with bigger worlds, deeper role-playing, and sharp satire. It’s imperfect—AI and visuals could be better—but remains a witty, ambitious RPG that captures what made Obsidian great.

Stellar Blade ticks all the boxes for a good action adventure. However, developer Shift Up's console debut also has a few flaws that could be avoided. Especially when it comes to exploration and “quality of life” features. Nevertheless, Stellar Blade definitely satisfies the craving for fast, exciting and challenging combat. Hopefully there will be a sequel because Shift Up has now proven that they have great potential to deliver more action hits.

The setting and the action-packed fights in particular really hooked me. However, in the final built I miss the feeling that the trailers previously conveyed. The devs definitely have the opportunity to bring their brilliant ideas to full bloom with a little bit of work.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is simple, brutal and oh, so much fun! Easy-to-use controls and an entertaining combat system make it possible to ignore the lack of innovation. Fans of the Warhammer universe will be happy, newcomers might quickly fall in love.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink is able to impress as a typical JRPG with gripping boss fights, tight controls and an exciting story. Varied environments and opponents increase the fun factor of the game. The sound design, on the other hand, can be annoying at times.

You will have your fair share of fun with F1 24 if you like racing games. Nevertheless, I would like to see a serious competitor soon, because this is the only way the brand can continue to develop positively in the future. Many areas in the game haven't been touched in years - That's a shame and wasted potential. Is F1 24 a good game? Absolutely! Is an overhaul necessary? Definitely! The parallels to FIFA are very obvious.

Mario & Luigi – Brothership captures Nintendo's signature charm with vibrant graphics and a feel-good atmosphere. While it doesn’t revolutionize the RPG genre, it delivers a well-paced adventure, blending combat, puzzles, and exploration into an enjoyable experience lasting 35-40 hours.

Even after eleven years this hunt for ghosts is still a lot of fun, if a bit stretched unnecessarily. Thanks to the timeless graphic style - now in HD - and the newly designed controls, this represents the best version of the game. Still, the price point is too high for a remaster.

My expectations were high: An open world in the well known Galaxy far, far away, in which I could immerse myself in and where exciting stories are hidden around every corner. Star Wars Outlaws is simply not that. Still, what is left is a fairly good game featuring a dense atmosphere, authentic characters and fun gameplay.

It's a mixed experience, with moments of enhanced fun thanks to new gameplay features, but also frustrating issues in regards to goalkeeper and tackle behavior. While Rush is a welcome addition, other areas like slow menus, moderate updates to game modes, and weaker tactical options compared to its predecessor fall short. The game shines in terms of visuals and technical performance, running smoothly on PS5, delivering impressive graphics.
