Serious Sam Double D XXL really is a 2D Serious Sam. The stackable weapons are nice; however, the gameplay and the jokes are a little bit too moronic. The multiplayer is ok, for some hours, but after playing a while, the game gets boring.

Ninja blade offers a diverse gameplay, big monsters and lots of action are mixed with some roleplaying elements. This mix rocks, especially for fans of Japanese games. Sad enough the story is short and you won’t find a multiplayer mode.

This game is not for everyone: while it does its best to stay in line with its predecessors, it puts the bar for newcomers quite high. It's not without faults, very frustrating and doesn't feature as much story as desireable.

Deadlight, not as innovative as Limbo, is a nice potpourri of known elements, mixed with a unique style and definitely a must-download of this gaming summer.

Need for Speed is back with a story, but lacks innovative elements and a motivating single-player experience. Hopefully EA will continue to improve the story and doesn't loose sight of the single-player game because of focusing on the Autolog.

It‘s cool that a sequel is already announced. The playthrough time is about 20 minutes, a typical mini, but the game is very interesting and gives every fan of the horror genre chills.

Fans of previous 2D-Beat’em-Up games should consider to buy the title, because very much of the good old times is contained. The title can easily be compared to competitors in the genre.

Unfortunately, the singleplayer experience suffers from most work clearly having gone into the multiplayer aspects. With those, however, Armored Core V offers an extensive Mech MMO.

Touchmaster 3 is hold in the same tradition as the two former games of the series. 20 entertaining casual games should contain something for everyone.

Dr. Kawashima makes it right, but keeps it simple. The so-called challenges could be more challenging and the Doc could use some entertainer genes from Buzz the quizmaster.

Lollipop Chainsaw delivers a solid zombie action experience, but the creative humorous aha reaction fails to appear. Despite nice boss designs and a somewhat new take on the whole zombie thing, the game falls short of expectations.

It's not what it could have been. Stupid level design, lengthy loading times and a monotone fighting system let us hope for a better sequel. On the good side, however, it has copious action, cool multiplayer and nice ways to tweak your character.

Sniper Elite V2 is a solid action-sniper-game. The story about the V2 scientists is nice, well narrated and motivates the player to keep going. The graphics are below average, but ok and if that does not bother you, Sniper Elite V2 is well worth a try.

Where would you be without your team mates? In SOCOM: Special Forces nowhere, because in the higher levels you wouldn't win a medal without carefully planning out your attacks. If you're into tactics, you want to have a look on this one.
