When it's all said and done, The Cursed Crusade is a great hack'n'slash which has some treats like RPG elements, lots of weapons and the awesome co-op mode. A gem best enjoyed with a friend.

Red Faction Guerrilla is a really good action game with an enormous multiplayer mode. The sound effects aren’t that smashing, but the explosive graphic effects are absolutely bombastic!

In my opinion, everyone should play Rise of the Pirate God! The last part presents Monkey Island at its best. Graphics are not overwhelming, but the game lives from its atmosphere.

Rune Factory 2: A Fantasy Harvest Moon is a pretty cool game with enormous game-depth and long-term motivating gameplay.

The new gameplay and the fights against horrifying shadows is very well made, but it‘s too repetitive to play for a longer period. So, the story loses a lot of drive and that‘s pretty unfortunate. Alan Wake has the looks of Max Payne, but without innovation. Nevertheless, if you‘re looking for 12 hours of horror action, Alan Wake is your way to go.

Except for some issues regarding the level design and the AI, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is exactly what you're looking for, if you're into the legacy and the genre.

Great graphics, a whole bunch of fighters, as well as nice customization options make fun. Unfortunately, online fights and the adventure mode has been canceled compared to other versions.

House of the Dead: Overkill is a game, which will fascinate shooter-fans with lots of gory action and cineastes with good humor and coolness. Sadly, the game seems a bit short with about three hour of playtime.

A classical point’n’click adventure! A good interface, a clearly arranged inventory and a detailed diary make this game a very entertaining title for casual and for core-gamers.

Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games is the best sports mix on the 3DS. It's great fun to play over 50 different disciplines with controls using all the possibilities the 3DS offers.

Finally an anime game which doesn't only use the franchise name to call attention. One Piece: Pirate Warriors looks great, it's fun and provides the whole One Piece Experience, starting with Ruffy's fight against Buggy.

Despite a short – albeit intense – campaign and the outdated graphics, thanks to the great Spec Ops mode and the extensive multiplayer options, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is one of the best shooters this year.

Bejeweled 3 doesn't bother with pretense of a story, but keeps it simple: entertaining match 3 without unnecessary fluff. Merely solid graphics and sounds, but entertaining game modes for every taste that achieve the "one more round" effect. If you're looking for depth, look elsewhere; if you want good casual fun, it's a gem.

It feels like travelling to the past. Solid gameplay, but the dated graphics, while appealing to nostalgics, may well put off younger players. Still, definitely worth a look for any Simpsons fan.
