Tries to place its players into a real-life war when the experience is less about the true occurrences of the way the war was and more about a game that, even as a game, ShellShock isn't that terribly amazing.

The most stylish platform game of Sony’s big three and Sucker Punch Productions deserves a lot of credit for putting together an impeccable presentation.

But after completing the game in a three-day span, the challenging and short-lived ten missions felt average. Or in another case inefficient, with the only extras being that of a short clip of concept art and one unlocked movie that had just been seen.

The play is intense, they graphics are great, and the multiplayer is better than ever.

I have seen what makes a hero, and what makes a coward. I will choose the path of a hero... always.

This game is so good that it is easily one of the best values you can find on the Xbox!

Appropriately, during the ending credits John Lee Hooker sings, "Lord have mercy, don't let me go to Vietnam." Gee, I guess he must have played this game too.

Just another squad-based shooter that will really only serve to pad the lower-middle ranks of the Xbox game library.

It knows where you work, so you can't run. It knows where you live, so you can't hide. So open up your room already and say, "Ahhhh!" Or would you rather they do it for you, sissy?

The most exciting and terrifying arcade racer in a good long while. The insane sense of speed, incredible depth, and constant feeling of accomplishment via unlocking stuff every time you turn around really adds to the addictive quality of Burnout 3: Takedown.

At last, I have come to terms with understanding what the heck was so great about being a Pokémon fan. With this knowledge and with this experience, I can officially say with a passion always and forever...I hate Pokémon.

Aside from some minor annoyances (the announcer/DJ can get a tad tedious) Burnout 3: Takedown is an absolutely exceptional game and it's quite frankly hard to imagine how the next one could be much better.

And its a sad day when the best part of your "game" is the CG and movie clips. They're getting closer, but a great Terminator game is still not here yet.

It's literally an achievement worth every penny. There's an abundance of strategic flavor in the battles, well articulated graphical feats, an apt cementing in sounds, and a nice collection of extras for the truest of role-playing fans -- deep enough to go overboard with more than 80 hours of gameplay.

It's a good first try in a new style of strategy RPG, but the flaws kept it from hooking me like La Pucelle: Tactics did.

The game's certainly enjoyable, just not necessarily long enough or amazing enough to warrant a blind purchase.

Some presentation aspects may have been rushed for the sake of the game's release (in time for the World Cup, Go Canada Go!!), but it's still a great package. Once again, ESPN is hanging with EA right at the top.

Good for a few party nights if your friends haven't played it already, but be warned that the game has almost zero replay value.

Unfortunately, like the Wrestlemania X8 and XIX games, DOR still isn't much fun to play with friends because the constant button mashing needed to get up, escape a submission, and rip off clothes really starts to hurt after only a few minutes.

Online play is addictive and challenging despite its frustrating flaws and oversights, the realism of the game despite the cartoony look is great, and most importantly, the game is extremely fun.

Although the game doesn't have too many bonus features and the different tables are similar in design, you still get 4 challenging and very realistic looking pinball tables at your disposal.

EA Games screwed up the controls so bad that's it hard not to miss that important jump, and that means you have to go through some overly tedious levels all over again. The bottom-line is that the gameplay is so horrible here that I think nobody will cry if this cat gets run over by a car.

It starts out on the right foot with an incredible opening video (yes, video) sequence but that early excitement quickly gets bogged down amidst mediocre 2D platforming and trial-and-error boss battles.

Laden with a few differences here and there, no horror fan...in fact, no GAMER can be without this third instalment in one of Konami's best franchises on the market.

It's not often that monsters of many types can freak you out. It's not likely you'll find a plot as sickening or bent as the one in this game.

A slightly fun game that fails to reach the plateau of the classic adventure game genre.
