It’s far from a killer-app or benchmark title, but it’s the best game of the launch crop and the only one that takes advantage of the hardware (save for the multiplayer), and thus a must-own if you’re really interested in the DS.

It's a shame they couldn't nail down the games perfectly or you'd have one outstanding collection of pinball games from one of the more famous and successful pinball manufacturers in the world.

Visually, Metroid Prime 2 is amazing.

It's better than Jak II in how it's simpler to move around from place to place. That's a plus. Its range of difficulty has diminished since Jak II. That's a bit of a plus and a minus. The game's more action-oriented than it is platform based. That's a bit more of a minus than it is a plus.

A poor excuse for a game. Whatever made the Insomniac-developed Spyro titles so great obviously has vanished from the game's inner fray forever.

AntiGrav is more innovative and more involving than the two previous EyeToy titles and it doesn’t have my image starring back at me.

If you own and still play the Nintendo 64 version, I still believe that it is worthwhile to pick up the GameCube version because of the updated graphics, new power shots, characters and courts.

There's nothing really radically new or different. Fundamentally, it's still the same enjoyable bubble-popping game we all know and love – which for most puzzle fans, is good enough.

On its own, the campaign is a bit short (though still excellent), and the multiplayer is a fun diversion but not as deep as a traditional online shooter, but combined, it's one of Sony's top online and offline games.

A classy collection of four types of poker as well as blackjack, slots and video poker. The game's only real downfall is requiring multiple cartridges for multiplayer.

The framerate is pretty good, but occasionally it really gets hiccupy when there’s too much going on, and it can get frustrating, especially if it happens mid-jump or while you’re preloading, which can really screw up your timing.

Though repetitive and somewhat shallow, Technic Beat is a fun little music game that can be challenging, especially as you get into later stages which make you play more songs per level.

A great wrestling game still, but one that is falling into uninspired rehash territory very quickly.

It's an average beat 'em up that I'm sure fans of the movie will enjoy for a weekend rental.

A title that doesn't try to do anything new and different in the action/platformer realm, but it does manage to capture some of the spirit and whimsy of the movie it is based on.

An adequate, albeit unbalanced, action title whose appeal is broader than the teen rating implies.

But what I don't get is why oh why must the enemies constantly rise up to pummel your weaker party when obviously there's few options to defend such cheating onslaughts. Or, why is The Bard's choice brand of humor not making me giggle like mad?

Non-linear, absolutely packed with things to do, entertaining radio stations, great missions, great story, great characters, enough diversions to keep you playing for months, so much diversity in the cities that you may never stop discovering new aspects of town.
