One of the best looking Rally games around.

There’s a challenging and lengthy career mode based around “street cred,” a decent online experience, and some good customizability on the game’s many speed machines.

Final Fantasy XIII will probably not go down as one of the high points in the series. However, on its own, FFXIII is still a really good and enjoyable game with a fantastic battle system and gorgeous graphics.

In most ways, Borderlands is a first-person shooter that's really designed towards RPG fans, specifically the Diablo-styled hack & slash games.

This game doesn't really do anything that you haven't seen before in many other action games available, but this is one of the few titles that manage to do all the key ingredients really well.

If you’re looking for a game with fun-to-learn controls and if you’re tired of the fictionalized fighting in the recent Street Fighter IV or, dare I say it’s fake, WWE Legends of Wrestlemania, UFC 2009 Undisputed might be the true knockout you’re waiting for.

Essentially a great expansion pack that adds some cool and funny new content to what is already a top-tier RPG. The new content is basically window dressing – albeit excellent window dressing.

The added features flesh out things, but much of the focus was on this and not any sort of new gameplay enhancements or systems. The result is still a solid game of baseball, just a familiar one.

Problem-solving fans will find a lot to love about getting to the bottom or, often times, the top of P.B. Winterbottom’s elaborate puzzle designs.

It may not have the richest or most original shooter experience, but it does give plenty of fast-paced FPS action to keep your adrenaline pumping.

I wouldn’t recommend playing the game for too long at a time for risk of getting bored with it. However, in small doses it is fun. The character dynamic is something new and when the thief is in play, it can be a blast.

This is no cash-in. What at first seems like a God of War clone turns into a grown up version of Zelda - a bloody adventure with dark themes and settings, and it actually works. The puzzles are clever, the combat is visceral, there are a good amount of items and upgrades to be had and the world is convincing.

Adventure game lovers will not be disappointed by the game play elements, and fans of "Shenmue" will find plenty to like here.

Pac-Man CE is not just one of the great XBLA games, it is one of the great games period.

Rogue Galaxy fails to live up to its promise as a "Final Fantasy" killer. Sure it's one of the best-looking games to date on the PS2, nearly loading free, and has an awesome voice acting crew, but the story and repetitive battles can occasionally becoming trying at times.

inFamous 2 is as close to an essential PS3 game as you're going to get in the run up to Uncharted 3, and with the inclusion of the UGC feature, it might even last you until then. Cole McGrath isn't winning any awards for emotional input, but he is tearing the house down with his acrobatics and incredible firepower. When you play this, you'll feel like a real superhero, or super villain, and whichever way you swing, you'll love every minute.

While the single player mode won’t last you a long time, challenging others to break your score is where the game’s bread-and-butter is at. Highly recommended.

DS owners should not miss the opportunity to play this great game.

The Contra series is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and Contra 4 is a gift to the fans. If you're a fan of the series or even if you just like shooters in general, Contra 4 is the game for you.

Stacking is one of the most charming games you'll ever find, a refreshing break from the ubiquitous shooters flooding the market. It may not have much replay value, but you will still enjoy your stay in the whimsical, unique world of Charlie and his fellow stacking dolls.

The Creature Creator isn't much more than a marketing tool for the upcoming Spore. Anyone itching to get their hands on the game will certainly enjoy the chance to play with the tools and build and share creatures with like-minded players.

Guitar Hero III adds interesting elements like online multiplayer, boss battles and battle power, but the real innovation is in the new rock-themed setlist and the way you play it.

It’s a horror game that doesn’t rely on clunky controls and denying the player supplies to produce tension. It’s an action game with pages of novelized story to read. Yet every element of the game is cohesive and feels right as you play it.

Brutal Legend is a game chock full of sweet tribute to the metal gods. It is a love letter from developer Double Fine to the Heavy Metal sound and culture.

It's still fun in spurts, but on the whole it doesn't keep interest for very long because most of us have been there before – some of us 6 times now.

It’s a great buy but be warned: once you place your first tower, you’ll be hooked for many, many hours of alien blasting fun.

There are absolutely no questions about the future of the franchise now; in fact, I can't wait for the next sequel, which is something that fans haven't been able to say for a long time.

SingStar doesn't have flashy drums or a pair of licensed guitars, but this game-and-microphone bundle brings PS3 owners the best way to sing on a video game system.
