Even with its non-stop references to heavy metal and specialized soundtrack, Brutal Legend comes off feeling like one of Tim Schafer's most accessible game. The real-time strategy aspects are carefully explained and never feel too daunting for the average console gamer. What's more, the game's humor and over-the-top story will make you want to see the game through to the end.- Gaming Nexus

Red Dead Redemption feels like a new breed of sandbox style gameplay. In the place of flashy cars, provocative women and crazy weaponry is the historically accurate and enthralling realm of the Wild West.- Gaming Nexus

I'm no artist, but I had fun with Colors 3D. Even though there are a couple things I wish were incorporated that were not, checking out the gallery made me realize the potential of this program. For only $6.99, it's definitely one to recommend to pass the time if you like to draw and paint.- Gaming Nexus

Dead Nation is a remarkable game and easily one of the best PSN titles available. The game stands shoulder to shoulder with the Left 4 Dead series as the pinnacle titles of the zombie-game genre. If you even remotely enjoy slaying zombies, do not hesitate to buy this game.- Gaming Nexus

EA has turned a corner with their development of Need for Speed SHIFT. While it retains some elements of the traditional console game style, it also raises the bar for realism in a console-based racer. Budget for a steering wheel, though, to get fully benefit from the vastly better physics modeling.- Gaming Nexus

Left 4 Dead 2 took a great first-person shooter experience and added fresh new gameplay modes, loads of murdering and surviving accessories from melee weapons to adrenaline shots, all of which continues to satiate my desires for an FPS game that I can happily and easily spend a copious amount of hours on.- Gaming Nexus

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is an incredible gaming experience. Whe game isn't the "best" in terms of any one of its individual traits, it is really good at all of them... resulting in one of the best games of our generation. Though it is unlikely that its accolades and status will ever eclipse that of the original Deus Ex, it definitely stands as a worthy successor in the series.- Gaming Nexus

Naughty Dog delivers again with its timeless masterclass narrative experience, this time rebuilt from the ground up following contemporary gaming standards. With modern graphics and unparalleled performance, The Last of Us Part I is the definitive way to enjoy the multilayered and complex story of Joel and Ellie. It remains a genre-bending action survival game that challenges the status-quo by weaving together multiple elements. An expanded array of accessibility options, gameplay modifiers, and extra modes allows this remake to be experienced by anyone from any background and that’s not an easy feat.- Gaming Nexus

I had great hopes for this game, just like I had for the original title. Square Enix addressed nearly every issue from the previous title and delivered in a huge way. With a non-linear world, plenty of side quests, puzzles, and much more, Final Fantasy XIII-2 adds yet another smash hit to the RPG powerhouse.- Gaming Nexus

The PS3 finally gets a new signature title with a game that will have wide spread appeal. Killzone 2 sets new standards for graphics while providing a solid story with interesting characters. Capcom has given us a complete game right out of the box. The single player experiences are enormous. The online experience is perfect. Street Fighter lore is littered in every nook and cranny of this game. There are modes and modes within modes. This is one of the best Street Fighter games in the history of the franchise. If Capcom hurt you in the past, this is their apology. Street Fighter 6 is a new classic that people will be playing for years to come.- Gaming Nexus

As a video game reviewer, it's very rare I've ever awarded a perfect score. The last two games I awarded with that score were The Witcher 3 and God of War. I say this just to emphasize how It Takes Two really is, in my view, the perfect co-op experience. At least, it's the closest to perfection that I've had the joy to experience to date.- Gaming Nexus

Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate moves MyDearest’s living-anime games forward several steps by adding a greater degree of interactivity to the already excellent storytelling. Though the slow burn may put some players off, those with patience will find an intriguing mystery in a fabulously built sci-fi world. Well worth a look for anime fans; Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate hints at some great things to come, both from this series and this developer. [Early Access Provisional Score = 85]- Gaming Nexus

Ark of Charon presents as a visually appealing and intriguing title that unfortunately falls short in execution. Its blend of tower defense and colony simulation has potential, yet the game's finer details—such as the cumbersome controls, underdeveloped mechanics, and lack of engaging storytelling take away from the overall enjoyment. While Ark of Charon shines in its peaceful rhythm of base-building, this strength is not enough to keep me attempting to rebuild the life tree. As it stands, Ark of Charon feels like a game best suited for occasional play rather than a long-term commitment. But, it is in Early Access, so I have no problem giving this a second look down the road. [Early Access Provisional Score = 65]- Gaming Nexus

While pretty light on content, the price of this Early Access fighter is just right. With a surprising amount of depth for such a limited stable of characters, Final Fury will have you laughing and talking smack to your buddies with the best of them. The timing takes practice, and there is a learning curve to understand the characters' interactions, which makes the core gameplay of Final Fury quite solid. Additional content drops for the game will only make it better. [Early Access Provisional Score = 75]- Gaming Nexus
