They’ve gone above and beyond my expectations of any FPS game.

An absolute must-buy for anyone into Greek mythology or who enjoys the action/adventure genre. It’s beautiful, plays smoothly, is absolutely epic, and will please anyone with a taste for a dark atmosphere.

Is it the best RPG on the PS2? You bet.

As far as actual content goes, I don’t think there’s been a game in history with more, so you almost need to own this game just so you can see how packed a game can be.

The only thing I need to say about the graphics is that they're perfect. Character models, vehicles, environments, weather, it's all spectacular but not overwhelming to the point of distraction.

Rather than a reiteration of the customs, concepts and capabilities we’ve become familiar with in RPGs, Oblivion is something wholly new and entertaining that advances what freedom can feel like in a video game.

There is no other way to describe Guitar Hero other than it’s a fantastic game that’s a blast to play.

I was stunned by how well made this game was. Stories certainly is a wonderful achievement for the PSP, but it does have a few drawbacks with the slowdown, camera issues, battery and a lack of online play, but you still can’t be that disappointed as this is the best game on the PSP.

Far Cry Instincts is just another example of how bloody marvelous UbiSoft can be, and how good a console shooter can be without needing to distract us with aliens and shiny green space suits.

Just an extremely enjoyable, beautiful, nostalgic, and engaging RPG for the PlayStation 2. This charming, atmospheric RPG is not to be missed.

Everything – absolutely everything - works better in this game than in any RE title before. The end result is a game that is a total blast to play through.

The graphics are amazing (mind you, even on a mediocre system), the sound is amazing (if you don’t have a 5.1 system yet, consider it), and the game is downright scary.

If you already own another version, you’d be silly to purchase it again, but if you don’t have any copy of the game yet, you should only opt for a console version if you want to play in the living room with some friends watching. Otherwise, grab the PC version for the best experience.

Who knew having this much control over a little virtual family would be so fun, but there’s something undeniably charming about the sims that will keep you glued to your PC for weeks, wanting to buy that one last toy for the recreation room or add one more addition to your house.

Tomb Raider: Legend is not only the best Tomb Raider game in years, but as far ahead as one can possibly get from the disaster that was Angel of Darkness.

Zipper Interactive managed to create very smooth, simple controls for a unit without a second analog nub (a minor miracle), and brought along all the SOCOM visual treats and gameplay nuances that fans of the genre crave, and the PSP enabled them to do this all in style.

Two Thrones takes the best of what Sands of Time and Warrior Within had to offer – great environmental puzzles and exploration and a deep combat system – and finds a way to balance all the elements to create one fine game.

If you want a game that makes you hide in the shadows whilst silently executing hits, then Blood Money is for you.

Though it is very linear and very short, it is excellent at creating a rich visual, audio and emotional experience in an extremely cinematic manner.

I really only consider Ratchet: Deadlocked as a bonus game in the series, but it's a great bonus game with a heavy combat emphasis and the same style of televised humor that the franchise is known for.

MLB is a lot of fun to play and will give gamers plenty to do throughout the baseball season. The Show is definitely recommended for the casual or hardcore fan alike.

Shadow of the Colossus is a spectacular game for the PlayStation 2 with splendid visuals, a great artistic atmosphere, a unique horse mechanic, and magnificent, towering colossi – but it’s limited by the power of an aging system.

Offers a unique perspective on moviemaking and its gameplay style is refreshingly original. If you're a movie buff, or love Sims-type games, The Movies is for you.

It’s a worthy expansion pack to the atmospheric original. It does introduce a few new toys to play, which vary up the gameplay just a bit, but it’s also still much of the same kind of explore and shoot action you’re used to.

This could be the best Syphon Filter game, if not the best action game so far for the PSP. The depth is something out of a console game, but it’s tailored to the tiniest stitch to work best on a handheld – and it does.

The gameplay is accurate and fun and the wealth of options in the Franchise and Career modes will keep players busy throughout the summer and well into the fall.

The game is great on so many levels including wonderful controls, a great look with solid graphics, plenty of replay value, well-developed mini-games, hilarious pop-culture jokes and of course great platforming that has been a staple of the series.

Heroes of the Pacific isn’t perfect but it’s close enough for government work and the result is the most enjoyable dogfight you’re likely to see.

A surprisingly pleasant game if you’re into fast pick-up-and-play gameplay and are enticed by cute visuals, card collecting, and card battling. It’s a fairly quick adventure, though, and a bit too easy to maintain an adult’s interest when more complex, similar titles are available.

The only problem for Ridge Racer is the audio which is less than stellar, but in the end Ridge Racer 7 makes an impressive debut on the PlayStation 3 and is worth a look even if it is just to drool over.

Now if Sucker Punch could upgrade the visuals, grant us some real character depth, spare us the obvious dialogue (tap the square button to do this, then hit R1 to do this), and add online play, we’d have a much better winner.

There is plenty of fun to be had here, but there is also plenty of room for improvement.

It just does not have the impact that the first had thanks to a plethora of action titles available now for the Xbox.

As pretty much the only non-shooter/non-sports game on the Xbox 360, you have to get this game just for the change of pace, if not for the fantastic platformer/adventure experience.

Overall Madden 06 for the PlayStation Portable is a solid title with everything you’d expect from the mega-hit football franchise including great gameplay, graphics, audio and options, but the game falls short with in-game loading.

From the orchestrated theme music to the chaos of cartoon battles the game delivers loads of entertainment and even requires some creative thinking to beat the tougher levels.

Mercury is a solid game that is easy to pick up, yet hard to master and certainly results in many hours of addictive gameplay.

Field Commander is definitely worth a look from any RTS PSP-owning fan. The gameplay is rich enough and the number of options, which includes a multitude of multiplayer modes, is deep enough to keep gamers coming back for more. And even if you aren’t a big RTS fan, like myself, there’s enough here to make you want to become one.

The good heavily outweighs the minute problems with the artificial intelligence and soundtrack. Despite these few complications, Fury 4 is still a very fun and enjoyable racer that is worth a spin.
