In Black there's beautiful graphics and incredible details, tight controls, but as a whole it's an experience you may not feel like completing even the first time through.

The new gameplay additions like the bert slide, nata spins, and the BMX bike really don't make the game any deeper than the other recent TH games. Add to that the short story and classic modes and some disappointing and over-hyped features and what you have is a Tony Hawk game that fails to live up to the expectations set by its predecessors.

Silent Hill 4 may look pretty on the surface, but after an hour or so you'll have found out that like most pretty things, what's beneath can be pretty disappointing.

If you’re expecting a revival in the franchise, then be prepared for a massive disappointment.

The problem though is that the game isn’t fresh anymore and it gets even worse when you consider the fact that there is no online play.

It's worth a look as a rental, as you can certainly have a good time with the game over the course of a weekend, but its flaws keep it from being worthy of a purchase.

It’s an affair for the patient, meticulous player who doesn’t mind playing a puzzle game in disguise as a WWII RTS. Blitzkrieg II is too unforgiving and downright frustrating to warrant my recommendation to any but the most intense history buffs.

The game doesn’t feature spectacular crashes or a significant ability to modify your vehicles. Instead players are forced to perfect laps and drive very accurately meaning the title is either a hit or miss, there’s very little in between.

Unfortunately complex systems and a light atmosphere can’t replace the features it needs to be a solid RPG.

If you enjoy mindless destruction wrought by a bunch of maniacs driving at breakneck speeds through narrow, twisted tracks, then you may enjoy Flatout 2 as well.

If you are planning to buy Fritz 9 with the hopes of learning how to play Chess, run far, far away and don’t look back.

It's not an awful game, but it’s not exactly good either. Simply put, Mercury Meltdown Remix doesn’t feel comfortable on the PlayStation 2.

Overall, NBA 06 has a lot to offer and plenty of hours of gameplay with the season mode, minigames, online mode and more, but the game just feels incomplete and rushed.

There are just way too many issues at hand to recommend picking up this sequel until it hits the bargain bin.

Simply put, SimCity doesn’t seem to work well on the DS and makes you realize that a good idea can be implemented unsuccessfully.

Certainly seems to be directed towards a younger gaming audience with its colorful environments, cute characters and simple controls. The game is pretty childish with a straightforward story mode and a nice selection of multiplayer games.

If you're looking for a fun shooter, and all you've got is a GameCube, this game would be worth picking up on the cheap, but if you can play it on any other system, then by all means do so.

It looks decent enough, and, excluding actual voiced speech, sounds decent enough too, but the overall package is a meager offering in a very competitive genre.

Fans of Harry Potter may be disappointed that the game doesn’t quite reflect the darkness of the movie or book, but Goblet of Fire certainly does some things right including impressive graphics, sound, nice 3-player co-op and easy to pick up gameplay. The real problem with the game is the camera, AI and repetitiveness.

If you need a more engrossing storyline, though, or get easily aggravated by the “little” things that keep you from virtual victory, pass it up.

It's fun for a little while, but it’s all over way to soon to be truly enjoyable.

The early excitement quickly bores, add to that the relatively easy nature of the game and the repetitiveness in general and it results in the fact that Just Cause just doesn’t cut it.

Just beware when shelling out the cash for it as the mileage youfll get out of it will vary.
