If you just want a game that’s a joy to play, this is it. Between the beautiful colours, the relaxing gameplay, and the thrill of gliding and soaring through the world, there’s enough to make Wavetale well worth your time.

I absolutely endorse picking up LEGO The Lord of the Rings, whether you're a big fan of the film series or the LEGO games. Your appreciation of the story will certainly hinge on whether you're a LOTR fan or not, but regardless of that you'll still have a whole lot of fun with this unique video game adaptation. It's a blast to play through in single player and in local co-op, and despite a busy holiday season for gaming, really shouldn't be missed.

Graphically this is one of the prettiest damn racing titles, not only on the DC, but any platform.

Ambition: A Minuet in Power makes its historical setting come alive, and the end result is one of the better visual novels I’ve played in quite some time.

All in all Need for Speed: Most Wanted is the Need for Speed game that fans of the series have been clamoring for, for quite some time. It mixes a formula of both old school ideas and new ones, creating an experience that mixes well and will certainly appeal to a wide audience and gear heads. The game is fast, huge, and most importantly…fun, and part of its charm is not taking itself too seriously. Need for Speed is back, and we welcome you with open arms.

Arguably the best compliment I can give Alan Wake is that it is a console-to-PC port done right.

It's really difficult to hate on much of anything in Everybody's Golf for the PS4. It's an addictive, enjoyable golfing experience "for everyone" with plenty of replay factor and the added hook of daily challenges which should funnel players into the online modes. We're certain that veteran Hot Shots Golf players know what they are getting into with Everybody's Golf and hopefully potential newcomers will be enticed by the very reasonable $39.99 price tag.

I'm really happy with Crimson Gem Saga. It goes right up there with Jeanne d'Arc as far as PSP RPGs go.

It's a shame to see that Ensemble had to close their doors after this, because it's really the best attempt I've seen at bringing over a solid RTS experience on consoles, and I hope it's a game that other RTS fans (and even non-fans) will give a try, because it's definitely worth picking up.

It's amazing to say that this little gem came from a development team of only 4 guys, and not a Sega or a Nintendo developer. It is a case of David vs. Goliath where David kicks ass again, and provides enough content, game play, and charisma that many will take notice of this little studio by the name of Hello Games.

A great GTA game that culls as much from the older titles as it does from the new ones.

Basically, if you loved DuckTales as a kid, whether it was the NES game or the T.V. show, or both, you should definitely pick this up. And if you never got into the show or game, but have some affinity for retro games, you should still pick this up.

I cannot wait to see what the Inhabitants team has up their sleeves for the next segment in the Oddworld franchise. This game is a must buy.

Drowning shows that if you want to convey something as deeply personal as experiencing depression, you do so by making a game that feels deeply personal. It may not always be comfortable to sit through, but it draws you in and makes you care about its main character in a way that few other games can match.

A true upgrade to the previous years, and as I mentioned before, is possibly the best version of the series since its inception.

It's almost as if Saint's Row is a parody of the "GTA" games, with its over the top raunchiness, obvious innuendo and complete departure from reality. I never got that into the "GTA" games, but I can't seem to get enough of Saint's Row.

I will be the first to admit that Madden NFL 25 is not a perfect football game, but the overall package and satisfaction you will receive from game to game is so overwhelmingly genuine and good that you will be willing to overlook its faults and realize that this is just about as good as it gets for virtual football.

It has the beautiful next-gen visuals, new weapons and gadgets and even some well-implemented motion controlled segments, though overall it does nothing out of the ordinary or unexpected. It's an enjoyable, beautiful ride that just seems kind of familiar in the end.

Tiny Thor is an excellent love letter to retro games not just because it looks and plays like a game from decades ago, but because it’s still highly playable in the here and now.

Nose/tailslides, nose/bluntslides, varial flips, a multitude of new grabs, expanded inverts, lip tricks, manuals, and more realistic switch skating are all included.

The game feels rushed. In spite of its obvious issues and glitches, GRAW is still a fantastic game. The presentation is incredibly realistic, dramatic and intense. The gameplay feels natural and smooth and the controls are very intuitive.

It is very hard to stand out in this much crowded racing genre, but Need For Speed Unbound pulls it off. The title is easily the best entry in years and sets a foundation that can easily be built upon. After many years of having an identity crisis, I can see the game evolving from here. With a consistent 4K resolution and 60fps framerate NFS Unbound showcases what could be the future of the series.

As far as I'm concerned, buying the game means you get one of the most consistently fun games ever made — anything more than that (in this case, Fibbage XL and Drawful both being enjoyable) is just a bonus.

SR3 contains a lot off the wall violence that'll satiate your need for random video game fun for a number of hours. It's bookended by great opening and closing moments, and topped off by a competent co-op mode. You'll devote more time to the game than just the story fueled segments, and SR3 will certainly keep you interested past the end credits scroll.

It's often funny, addictive, and surprisingly good to look at, and the wide appeal that this franchise has tacked on with the already wide appeal that LEGO in general has is sure to make this something that fans of either property won't want to pass up.
