The only real, but minor, issue I have with Allegiance is the stiffness of the tech tree. While it is a very big tech tree full of all sorts of upgrades, once a person commits to a path on the tech tree, the amount of resources required makes it really hard to change tactics if required.- Gaming Age

The missions themselves are so incredibly enjoyable and entertaining to play through, and are what make Thief II such a fantastic title.- Gaming Age

A departure from the revival of the series, "NFS: High Stakes," but in no way is it a disappointment.- Gaming Age

This title does not appeal to the common entertainment values that the PC gaming community currently holds, but it has taken a stand as a realistic space-trading simulation, and it is for that reason it will not be without an audience.- Gaming Age

Gamers that grew up on frustratingly tough arcade games such as this, will most likely feel at home with the intense level of difficulty.- Gaming Age

A good sequel that would have been great if the story had more substance.- Gaming Age

An exceptional title. Even in a generation where 3d is king, Treasure has managed to create one of the most enjoyable titles in either dimension.- Gaming Age

Basically the developers took everything that was right about GT and multiplied it by a factor of ten in GT2.- Gaming Age

Despite the overall solid control, Rayman 2 still suffers from one of the original problems with 3D games: the erratic camera. Although it manages to keep up pretty well in wide-open areas, enclosed and semi-enclosed ones frequently cause it to misbehave.- Gaming Age

The huge amount of speech for all the characters is a really cool addition to the game, but it can’t save it from a somewhat dull battle system and its other problems.- Gaming Age

A fantastic RPG for the PC. The opportunities for character creation are endless, letting you make that sword-wielding, fireball-flinging thief you always wanted to be.- Gaming Age

I can't say it enough: Resident Evil 2 for Nintendo 64 looks and sounds amazing. Aside from a few very minor flaws, RE2 is one of the best N64 games this year. If you own an N64, buy this game.- Gaming Age

The tracks are awe inspiring in their beauty and complexity, the gameplay is tight, and it is just plain fun. This is a game that almost anyone can enjoy by themselves or with some friends.- Gaming Age

JFG is basically Mega Man in 3D. The objective of saving all the Tribals is a rather anal task, it must be said, and an extremely annoying one. Too annoying. Otherwise, the game is good fun and still comes recommended.- Gaming Age

The AoEII environment is extremely rich in detail. Even more than the original, details on buildings are captured right down to the dead leaves resting on the rooftops.- Gaming Age

Grandia's one really serious failing is its difficulty. My first run through clocked in at about 52 hours, so it certainly doesn't have a length problem, but however long and satisfying the journey, the experienced RPG player is unlikely to find many moments of genuine challenge.- Gaming Age

Even though they did try to clear up a lot of issues some people had with the game, it just didn't seem to come off like the epic that was Suikoden I. It's not a bad sequel at all, it's just more of the same.- Gaming Age

With increased detail running at a higher resolution and maintaining the same frame rate, it quite literally leaves the arcade version for dead. That's 640x480 at a constant 60fps.- Gaming Age

Although I feel it is sufficiently simple for anyone to jump into and enjoy, there are those who simply don't like golf. If you really don't like golf, this is obviously not the game for you. However, to anyone else, Mario Golf is a truly fantastic title that you must try. It's simple and fun, while still being true to the game of golf.- Gaming Age

Pokémon Snap is a poor effort on Nintendo’s part. It is completely obvious that the game was rushed in order to cash in on the Pokémon frenzy. They could have spent six more months creating some new areas and adding all the available Pokémon into it and then it would have been a much better overall game.- Gaming Age
