I felt like a ten year-old throughout most of the playtime, thanks to how both generic and dumbed down the game felt for the most part.

The game’s presentation is very 5 years ago complete with cheesy CGI footage of newscasts and over acting characters that take this serious in tone style of game, to the brink of a comedy.

Basically, if you can wrap your head around the complex controls, then you might get some enjoyments out of this fighter.

In the end Jeremy McGrath's Off Road Racing does exactly what it sets out to, which is deliver a solid racing experience that will provide gamers their money's worth whether they are playing online, offline, or both.

Claybook is a massive chore to play. It clearly aspires to be so much more, but if you have any sense of wonder or creativity left after battling its controls and its camera, then you’re much more patient than I am.

The city is not very alive, if you know what I mean. It looks like New York, but it doesn't feel anything like it.

Feels like a half-baked approach at porting a stellar console title. While giving you a slightly changed story and new characters to work with is a nice approach, the actual gameplay leaves a lot to be desired.

Not the title to bring soccer to the greater masses; it only insults those who enjoy the sport.

Final Exam is good arcade action title, but it won’t be setting the world on fire with its gameplay.

Unless you really enjoy half-finished stories, Paratopic never really builds on its great aesthetic to be a game worth playing. It may aspire to bring you back to the late ‘90s, but given how disjointed it all feels, it never achieves its goal.

If you just want to be creeped out first and worry about story second, then Remorse: The List might just be worth adding to your “to-play” list.

This port of Most Wanted that was a port of Carbon, which in itself wasn't good in the first place, is unforgivable from a team as financially stable as EA. Heck, Burnout Paradise, while not a great "Burnout-style" game, was a fantastic racing game, so how about counting your losses and just releasing one racing title and put all your money and focus on it.

There are an abundance of much worse games to play on the Switch, to be sure, but there are also plenty of games that are better, so unless you just want to kill time shooting things in an open world – which, to be fair, is sometimes a wholly understandable impulse – you’re better off avoiding this one entirely.

The game play is simple if not addictive and will provide hours upon hours of game play fun, even if each game will last you anywhere from 5 to 10 min a piece.

The problem with Story Mode is that additional players cannot join or exit a game in progress.

When it's not being repetitive, it's full of fun and you could potentially carry the team if your co-op player doesn't have the digitary dexterity needed to complete some of the more hectic tasks.

In other words, what you have in Mind Zero is a perfectly serviceable, thoroughly mediocre game.

I mean that on two levels, as it's a solid action platformer, but it also has a lot of untapped potential that players may be disappointed to discover by the time they're through.

Overall, Dark Void was a definite disappointment, but at the same time it's completely playable.

This is a disappointment for me, Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is a game that I was truly rooting for this year. I have enjoyed the previous entries in this series and this one had the potential to rise up and make a name for itself among other powerhouse titles. Unfortunately performance issues and a weak story plague what is at its core a good game, built on solid mechanics. I feel that with time this could grow into the game that was originally anticipated, but the question will be whether bad blood is already present. If not this game, then perhaps the next one will take this foundation and truly grow it into a game that I can wholeheartedly support. Until then, go into this one with realistic expectations and enjoy the combat for what it is.

A lot of the puzzles require precise placement, and the controls, using the d-pad or analog nub, are a bit inconsistent.

So let's add it up: a story that's virtually impossible to follow, grind-heavy gameplay that consistently leads nowhere, and frustrating combat. I'm not saying that it would've been better off in Fantasy Hero: Unsigned Legacy never got localized — more games are always welcome, no matter how bad they may be — but at the same time, I'm not not saying that either.

As the headline suggests, only pick this up if you are a hardcore fan and know what you are getting with Soldier’s Soul.

The game should take you anywhere from 6 to 10 hours to complete, depending on your willingness to see every nook and cranny of the game. You also are privy to two endings in the game, and thankfully the game saves right before your final decision so you can witness both endings without necessarily taking another trip through the game.

As it stands, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered is a tough game to suggest for everyone. Playing through the game alone works perfectly fine, you’ll still get a pretty good experience provided you are willing to put up with the repetitive nature of the action combat and revisiting dungeons over and over. And the online multiplayer component works well too, I had no real issues connecting with other players, no problems with lag or disconnects. But the core co-op experience feels decidedly empty and does a poor job of echoing back to the experience I had with the original game, so much so that I leave the game a tad disappointed overall.

While the graphics have come along as expected, there just isn't any substance to make ESPN NBA 2 Night 2002 worth your time.

Arguably, there are other classics that should have been included, but it's an excellent sampling and a nice blast from the past if you're interested in walking down memory lane.

While the options are bigger this year, I thought last year’s game felt more complete in overall game play.
