Everything you hated about the last game makes its return in "Backyard Wrestling 2."

The best PS2 shooter I've played all year.

A good fighter for those that really enjoyed the early Street Fighters, but it doesn’t live up to the standards Capcom has set for itself with more recent titles.

A lot better of a fighting game than the previous two entries into the fighting world. While this game is not enough to go up against the "big boys" of fighting games, it is a solid entry.

It's certainly a solid game, and no, the time controls aren't impressive as they were a while back, but they're still fun and make the game unique.

An entertaining and addictive first-person shooter sans the blood and violence seen in most FPS games. This is a highly competitive sport and the game does a brilliant job of representing it throughout the single and multiplayer matches.

A very weak fighting game that has almost no depth or complexity to it, and one that nearly any gamer regardless of skill level should be able to completely finish in one night.

The card system is excellent. It has the random intensity and unpredictability of a real card game mixed with elements of real- and turn-based RPGs.

The action can sometimes be too scripted and some levels lack that intensity of the PC original, but we're still looking at a fun time at the frontlines.

The car customization and track designs are the biggest attraction for Hot Wheels gamers. The controls and lack of depth, compared to other racing games, will disappoint rabid racing fans.

It is done well and loads of fun to play. The single player games and career mode give you a sense of having to do well to unlock new gear and tracks. Once you have mastered these, take your riding skills and go online or play via LAN against your buddies.

Illegal street racing has never looked and felt so right and with Need for Speed Underground 2 you'll find it hard not to fall in love with this fun racing game.

The great graphics, excellent gameplay and intriguing story line will have gamers glued to their GameCube for hours.

The story of this expansion may, at first glance, appear to be relatively brief, but what this expansion brings to the series on a whole is a solid online resource, and editors that will give players tremendous freedom in creating their own scenarios and campaigns.

While more choices in exhibit design and more stats would have added to the enjoyment a trifle for adults, the lack of these won't bother the kids, and really won't most adults, either.

The positive aspects of this game are the decent graphics. However the negative aspects, from the terrible controls to the gameplay itself, unfortunately out-weigh the positives.

It's not unplayable, so I can't go much lower than a 59. This is the most wonderful time of the year, however. Do you really want to be playing a game that's playable but isn't most wonderful?

The gameplay is very basic – anyone who wants to learn how to play it will learn how to play it whether they've played a lot of games before or not. Expect the average non-gamer to get at least a few months out of this one.

Very linear, which may cut down on replayability. The look, feel and general style of the game makes for an entertaining game experience that will leave you smiling.

A great game for kids, and a definite good choice for Christmas for families, especially if they're fans of the Lemony Snicket books.

An adequately designed racing game that delivers on the technical front, but one that just isn't very deep or exciting.

Not nearly as rewarding as the story that inspired it. Lemony Snicket gives you more than a collection of mini-games. It's too bad these non-mini-games involve miniature tasks like taking out weak enemies and fighting weak boss battles.

The thrill is minute with more experienced players, but might keep young gamers enthralled much longer.

A surprising amount of detail from a game that shouldn't be so visually distracting.

By far one of the most unusual and surprisingly satisfying wrestling games and those fighting fans that don't mind a little tease will highly enjoy this one.
