If you have to see what it's about for yourself, rent it before purchasing, and above all else… find a friend.

Hardly worth a second glance, Ghost Recon 2 for the GameCube is just not a worthwhile game. Go for the Xbox version, and don't look back.

I liked this one, mostly because the gameplay is so strong. It would have been better had the game been longer and the designers tried breaking the mold in terms of the look and sound of the game.

Sure it doesn’t control as well as "Ridge Racer" but this is a portable version of the Underground game minus the empty exploration or a story.

It's so good you'll probably forget you're playing a soccer game. European players will be thrilled, but American gamers would be foolish to think they won't be just as excited.

Big on speed, really big on fun, and small on accurate passing.

A different type of strategy game, which offers some new ideas, but still doesn't manage to rise above the crowd in any significant manner. Best for fans of finite board games.

A fun action RPG with a great story and unwavering authenticity to the comics on which it is inspired.

Unfortunately, with the limited MP games and buggy code, this game could still use some fine tuning.

A whole other ballgame that not only looks great but plays like a game worthy of giving this year’s "MVP Baseball" and "MLB 2K" game a run for their money.

The problems are relatively minor, and time in the saddle playing the game will yield dividends in terms of guiding your chosen team toward championship after championship.

Sure, Story Mode lacks a real story and sometimes the fights can get just a tad repetitive, but with good graphics and unique characters with their own fighting style this is fighting at its most entertaining.

The controls just feel right and the game moves along at a smooth pace. In short, this is a game easy to get into whether or not you're new to the sport.

I was surprised to find a decent 4 player brawler in the same vein as "Power Stone." While this game is not perfect, it is a decent game that you will gain several hours of enjoyment out of, especially playing against your friends.

With its responsive controls and the inclusion of the rewind button, Domination is easy to pick up and play. The problem with enemies building units and immediately destroying your forces is a serious drawback.

A blast, albeit a short one. The action is very intense and the tactical elements, while light, are easy to grasp.

Levels are huge; boss battles are outrageous; the difficulty is extreme; and the action is as fast as you can get without turning the game into something obnoxious.

The controls are easy but the static camera angle will cause a problem moving around in the game.

Yes there are some rough spots that make the student life seem like work and yes its not easy surviving each semester but overall this is a refreshing way to build up your teen Sims into the resourceful adult Sims that will make up your neighborhood in the core game.

While it may not blow away the competition, it does indeed offer some new features that can’t be found anywhere else, therefore allowing Major League Baseball 2K5 to become a must own game for any fan of the sport.

It truly feels like a part of the Star Wars universe, and is a great way to stay strong with The Force until Episode III arrives.

Had the controls been a bit more responsive for the ship-flying portions and the robot smashing just a tad more smoother, we would have had the perfect robot action game this side of "Metal Arms: Glitch in the System."

Tekken 5's visuals are simply incredible. It's hard to look at a PS2 game these days without rolling your eyes. You can try to roll your eyes at this game, but first you'll have to put them back in their sockets.

The rough learning curve makes Nexus a game I don’t recommend to anyone new to the real-time space-strategy genre. If you’re a fan, though, Nexus will be right up your alley.

Despite the fact that Klonoa games don't see much change from title to title, it almost doesn't need it. We still see some minor additions in each one, but in the end it's the gameplay that makes Klonoa so great.
