Like its predecessor, Serious Sam 2 is a fun and mindless romp, but the experience does get a little redundant.- GameZone

One part action, one part RPG. One part Metroid, one part Zelda, one part reminiscent of the PSone era. Technically this is a GBA title, and unfortunately does not take advantage of everything the DS has to offer. But that doesn’t prevent the game from blasting through.- GameZone

It’s packed with replay value, solid objectives, a stellar vehicle lineup, and dozens of individual races. The faux multiplayer mode brings the game down a half-point, but overall, you won’t find a better next-gen rally racer.- GameZone

A charming and unique experience. Gamers with an open mind toward design will find a lot to admire here. It may even make you question what makes a game a game.- GameZone

This is a good game with a lot of challenges and more of FIFA’s acclaimed gameplay. However, innovation and graphical achievements were not included in this "upgrade."- GameZone

One of the best features of Slugfest is the audio commentary provided once again by Tim Kritzrow and Kevin Matthews. The dual commentary plays well within the game, and never interrupts the flow as the commentators call the game while telling their stories.- GameZone

Where Fate of the Dragons distinguishes itself is in the undercurrent of town management. This program is much more user friendly, less a micromanager style of play, and quite enjoyable.- GameZone

With branching paths that can lead to good or evil and a multiplayer mode that kicks major tail Return to Arms is more hack-and-slash action worth checking out.- GameZone

The linear nature of the game is a bit of a drawback, cutting down on replayability, but the game looks good and plays very well.- GameZone

With the main mode intact, the real reward is the extra game modes and the new multiplayer goodies fit for cross platform action. In short, this is the best version of last year’s great action game.- GameZone

While the single-player portion feels like an afterthought due to repetitive mission design and weak AI, the multiplayer element carries the experience well and should keep you invested.- GameZone

Great simulation gameplay; even better arcade-style gameplay; an excellent soundtrack; updated graphics; and a number of tweaks and additional game modes that would make the guy this game is based on (what’s his name again?) proud.- GameZone

Call of Duty: World at War is a solid entry to the DS’s shooter library. While there are some problems here and there and it obviously won’t provide the same cinematic feel as it’s high-def console brethren, it still is a pretty solid shooter.- GameZone

It’s controls might not be the best but with a nice number of maps, space battles, Jedis and PSP-only game modes, this is the game to own when you’re far from your console or PC.- GameZone

The controls for playing this game are really easy to use and work really well. The only thing is if you just slightly move the stick to the left or right during a swing it could cause havoc on your shot just like real life.- GameZone

Soulcalibur IV plays a risky game by reducing the gameplay speed, rehashing characters and failing to introduce any game-changing mechanics. One-on-one multiplayer makes it entertaining, but if the fighting genre is going to survive, Soulcalibur V had better deliver a game of a much higher caliber.- GameZone

All action as the gameplay is fast and intense. The controls are great; the gameplay fluidly switches from land-based mech combat to airborne fighting without a single hiccup to the flow. However, the mission structure can get a little repetitive before too long.- GameZone
