With sports games, it all comes down to control, and EA’s NHL 2003 is one of the best in the business.

Does have a few stumbling points, but challenges and entertains with exceptional graphics, and wonderful sound.

The geo-mod engine is actually used with the core gameplay with this game, to make it feel like it truly belongs in there. Nothing is more satisfying than taking out a bridge with a grenade and taking a few men with it, instead of trying to get each man one at a time.

Puzzle fans, even those who are skeptical, shouldn't hesitate to make this their next PSP game.

Adds a brand new (and fun to play) race that adds a great new dynamic to the gameplay, as well as some nice features to keep things fresh for fans of the original game. However, if you weren’t a fan to begin with, you probably won’t be won over with this expansion.

Is GUN the definitive Western game? No. But it is darn good, and fun to play. The action is well paced, the story is very well done, the game looks great and the audio is a definite treat.

Playing Worms Reloaded made me feel like I just opened a time capsule from 10 years ago. It shows that even such a simple game of worm warfare, can stand the test of time, and still be as entertaining as it once was.

As enjoyable as Monday Night Combat was, if I was to remove the factor that I was often playing with friends and/or colleagues, I'm sure that enjoyment would've plummeted. The single-player is, as expected, a throwaway and easy for achievements.

Tropico 3 has all the depth you could want, but presents itself in a fresh light that emphasizes fun without coddling the player. If you have any interest in playing out a dictatorship fantasy, this is as good as it gets.

A superb blend of battles that differ from the genre’s norms. It is a grim (and grand) blend of glorious missions that are fought and won in a 2D, side-scrolling environment. The controls are top-notch.

While not terribly far removed from the original Under the Knife, this entry showcases some more complex surgeries while still being as user-friendly as DS games come.

The controls are very simple and there is a variety of different ways to get things done in this game. The object is to find the most effective way to do it, so you do not waste too much time and energy playing one level.

It's a short ride, and not something you'll probably be playing time and again. For what's there, Chapter 1 certainly delivers an adequate adventure for a classic hero. It just seems like something new could have been done with it.

Diehard MK fans will surely love it, and all of my casual gamer friends think it's one of the best fighting games ever made.

While the game offers few changes over the 2009 version, and even takes a step back with the removal of online play, this still a deep baseball game with tons of great features.

The gameplay is there, but with the power of the PlayStation 2 there was potential to do a lot more. New features, new modes, new characters, or even updated graphics; Capcom could’ve given us a little more.

The game modes feel a lot more complete this year and it all feels good on the Xbox. Some AI problems do crop up, but it doesn't get annoying.

Stellar controls (analog or D-pad) and excellent competitions among virtual versions of real-life tennis players. The sport is presented very realistically, but not so much that it can’t produce a little fantasy.

In terms of sheer amount of characters and stages, The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match offers up the most comprehensive KOF title to date for an affordable price. Sadly, SNK's perpetually poor network code hinders online play and it lacks the Striker and Multi-Shift gameplay that would have made it a truly complete experience.

The animation is smooth and wonderful to watch.
