Scary, intense, fun and totally enjoyable. The Thing is a qualified hit, and anyone who doesn’t mind the level of violence, gore and blood will find this an addicting experience.

This is not only a challenging game, but a whole lot of fun to play.

The stability woes, a few clipping problems, and finite game boards do present some drawbacks to the game. The good news is that this game is so good you can forgive all that.

Tears of Blood manages to hook fans of the genre with its gorgeous style and great story. It’s not as epic as the Final Fantasy games but it is still well worth playing.

Ultra violence at its most satisfying with a rich story that will have you cheering for Agent 47 every blood soaked step of the way.

The new environment additions are beautifully twisted, the characters are much more memorable this round being hilariously insane sometimes, and the last and best add-on in Shivering Isles are the missions.

The sound track is exceptional. The music is solid, the vocal abuse is crisp, and the sound effects are exactly what one would expect to hear.

There are a few minor problems, such as coloration of some uniforms (Vikings helmets are more blue than purple) and the helmets lack the sharp glossy look of other games. But when it comes to facial animation, NFL 2K3 is way ahead of the pack.

I was once obsessed with the idea of Fable. Now that a new version of it has been released and still hasn't delivered on the promises of Peter Molyneux, it's a tad disappointing.

Graphically, the game is stunning, and while there are a few stumbles along the way, nothing truly detracts from the strategic enjoyment one gets from this game. This is a wonderful step-up for the franchise.

While the keyboard configuration might not work for some people (trust me, an analog gamepad is highly recommended), the controls are fluid and the wave physics are great.

You’ll know the first time you play it whether this game is for you – you’ll either be immediately dissuaded by its complexity and depth, or you’ll fall in love with them. It might be the very definition of “niche title”, but for those who get it, Knights in the Nightmare provides a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Quite possibly the best rally racing game available for the Xbox thus far, Colin McRae Rally 04 is the game to buy if you’re looking for rally racing done right.

The story is engrossing; the voice-acting is stellar; the music is awe-inspiring; and the battles are just as entertaining as before.

Consider this, you can play the game almost anyway you wish, with strict rules or with the attitude. This is a game that is highly entertaining to play and watch.

Fitting right at home on the console, Civilization Revolution is a genuinely addictive simulator that will not fail to impress and please fans of the Civ series.

Big Bang Mini is a distinctive game that simply wouldn’t work on any system but the DS—but there it works brilliantly. With so much content, challenge, and visual insanity packed into a $20 title, this game deserves a spot in any DS owner’s library.

While not as breathtaking as the next-generation version of the game, Call of Duty 3 for the original Xbox will still not fail to impress with its great visuals, intense action and great multiplayer mode.

The sequel adds in a lot of new unlockable content to help extend replay value, new face offs with vocals, longer button holds, and even instruments, and the overall controls and challenge seem a lot better in this version.

Yet another great GameCube action game fans of the Prince will thoroughly enjoy from start to finish.

The game also sustains virtually no loading times, despite its faithful recreation of a ambient gothic world. Even with the impressive graphics, the game still runs smooth as silk.

Wildly entertaining and loaded with enough bullet-fueled action to keep action aficionados more than pleased, Borderlands for the Xbox 360 should be on the very top of your Must Have list. Filled with more than enough missions, plenty of skills and loads of guns, this is over-the-top action at its most insane.

Vexx is a stellar, high-quality, praise-worthy game that deserves to be enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of gamers.

Odin Sphere is the ultimate non-RPG. You will be immersed. You will be awestruck. You will be inspired to play through every stage again and again.

This game brings us all the juicy extras we all love in our wrestling games and has plenty of game modes to sink our teeth into but it still has a long way to go if it wants to be the ultimate pro wrestling title.

Isn’t as fast as "Marvel vs. Capcom 2," as pretty as "Guilty Gear X2," or as smooth as "Street Fighter 3," but it’s a 2D fighter that’s online.
