Any gamer who enjoys platformers should not miss this one. Anyone who appreciates a good story should play as well. Despite the few nicks in Nihilumbra's armor, I'm happy to give it five stars. It is an earnest experience. It might not be perfect, but it's a fine example of artists using a medium to tell a story. And it's tons of fun too.- Gamezebo

It takes the basic little line clearing puzzle set-up and tweaks it just enough to give it a fresh feeling to make it feel new all over again. Not going to set the world on fire but definitely worth a look for friends of the genre.- Gamezebo

It's a shame the developer couldn't find a better way to put everything at your fingertips, but it's a necessary sacrifice to make the game iPhone compatible rather than iPad only.- Gamezebo

From its cleverly-made mazes to the macabre blood-stains that are left behind when you fail (and stay put until you finally succeed and move on), every facet of this game deserves attention from puzzle fans and rabbit enthusiasts.- Gamezebo

Hammer Bomb is pretty darn fun, all things considered. It’s simple, sure, but it also has some nuance to it – and you always feel like you’re getting somewhere. PAC-MAN would never survive a maze quite like this.- Gamezebo

Fighting Fantasy Legends won’t be to everyone’s taste due to its hefty difficulty level, but it’s the ideal game for many to chip away at bit by bit. In particular, fans of the series will love having a different way of approaching some of their favorite characters. It’s an entertaining twist on the usual Choose Your Own Adventure format.- Gamezebo

In every way possible, Tiny Thief manages to raise the bar between what can be accomplished on the mobile platform today in 2013, as it settles right into its impeccable balance between fun, original gameplay, and the bright accessibility of games like Angry Birds.- Gamezebo

In fact, in all regards Scribblenauts feels wonderfully natural on the iPhone. Not only does Remix make appropriate use of the keyboard, but they've made controlling Maxwell feel less clunky, cut out the weaker puzzles, and delivered it all at an iOS gamer friendly price.- Gamezebo

I would be remiss if I didn't take at least a moment to talk about the game's visuals, because they are stunning. The way Chaos Rings II depicts a world without time is breathtaking, with droplets from frozen waterfalls hanging suspended in space and time and cherry blossom leaves hanging in midair, their voyage to the ground interrupted. This is the sort of game that makes you wonder just how impressive games can look on an iPhone, and if we're just scratching the surface of what the device can truly do.- Gamezebo

As removed from arbitrary goals and expectations as the original game, and perhaps more so, Forgotten Shores is a guided tour of unfettered imagination. There is challenge to be found, certainly, but not in the lifeless, measurable sense.- Gamezebo

Its simplicity allows players to focus on the big picture aspects of building, directing, and growth, while its puzzle-like room construction adds a layer of complexity that encourages different approaches each playthrough.- Gamezebo

In taking a classic concept and packing it to the brim with personality and playability, Spilt Milk Studios has developed an absolute winner through and through. If you've ever enjoyed Snake, TRON, or talking lines, make this one your next purchase.- Gamezebo

While the lack of Game Center multiplayer support is devastating, the core game and modes will last your average word nerd for hours on end. The Domination mode will always give you something to shoot for, while the Daily Challenge will give your brain a taxing workout.- Gamezebo

Perhaps the only real frustration of Mega Run lies in the game's somewhat frequent crashes, which left me less than enchanted as I scrolled through the game's menus all over again. Menus which, oddly enough, are perhaps the only non-juicy things about the game, with commands awkwardly labelled, making navigation a sticking point.- Gamezebo

Plants vs. Zombies Heroes has to walk a fine line balancing between the expectations of its franchise and its genre while also offering enough freshness to stand apart from them, and the fact that it does it with so much style deserves applause. If there’s room in the market for more than one big name CCG, this has a definite shot to be in that mix.- Gamezebo

Granted, a hardcore baseball sim is a niche product, but it's hard to see iOOTP 12 having any real challengers in its corner of the mobile gaming world. Fans of the grand old game are going to want this on their iPhones or iPads for all those times they can't be at the ballpark.- Gamezebo

Minor gripes aside, Shadowgun Legends is a strong contender for best mobile shooter on the market. The game would have shone on previous-generation home consoles from a visual standpoint and everything about it feels tailored for tablets and smartphones. Until there comes a time when the likes of Doom, Call of Duty and Battlefield can run on mobile with zero concessions, Shadowgun Legends is Google Play and the App Store’s definitive FPS.- Gamezebo

Still, if the only complaint I have about SPACEPLAN is that there isn’t more of it, that’s a pretty good problem to have. If you’re leery about spending money to buy a premium idle clicker, I get it — but you should really get over that hesitation. SPACEPLAN is about as clever and enjoyable as clickers get. It’s salty like french fries, but in all the right ways.- Gamezebo

Aqua Moto Racing 2 is an arcade racer through and through, with a soundtrack that could have come from OutRun. It doesn’t have a lot of variety, and the lack of multiplayer may be a sore point for some, but what it does do is frantic drifty racing in glamourous locations. If that sounds like your sort of thing, you won’t be disappointed.- Gamezebo

This is a sequel that improves upon its predecessor in multiple ways, and it's hard to ask for or expect more than that. With its strangely compelling mix of skill, luck and strategy, King Cashing 2 is a second trip worth taking. Dare we hope it becomes a trilogy?- Gamezebo

Just about perfect as a tactical game on the iPhone. It's beautiful, it's engaging, and it's a lot of fun to play. The only problem that it has -aside from the somewhat steep learning curve- is this title isn't universal for iOS devices, so folks trying to enjoy this on the iPad won't get a great-looking game if they play it in its full-screen mode. Other than that? It's rare to find something as excellent (and epic) as this.- Gamezebo
