That said, Burn the Rope 3D might be too similar to Burn the Rope to satisfy burninators looking forward to a "true" sequel from Big Blue Bubble. It's been a long time since we've seen level updates to Burn the Rope, though, so maybe think of Burn the Rope 3D as a level pack.- Gamezebo

But even in the short time that it lasts, there’s no denying the fun that can be had from playing Doodle Kingdom, and it quickly becomes clear why JoyBits’ addictive gameplay formula has been so successful over the years.- Gamezebo

Tempting as it is to instantly dismiss Block Fortress: War as unfair, it grows on you the longer you plug at it.- Gamezebo

Even with the "reasonable" pricing, it's hard not to define Deadlings by its shortcomings rather than its successes; a shame, because those successes scream to be genuinely enjoyable. I genuinely want to give it a pass for what it does wrong, and that, at least, says something.- Gamezebo

There’s not a lot of game to be had with DUNGEONy – once you beat the game once, you’ve seen everything it has to offer. But it works beautifully as a deconstruction of the roguelike genre, and is fun to play to boot.- Gamezebo

It’s no great loss that yet another platformer fails to light the world on fire, as we’re spoiled for choices that match any range of different tastes. But it’s truly a shame that a game with such artistry and heart as Oscura: Second Shadow is crafted in such a boring, clumsy way.- Gamezebo

I really wanted to like Phantom Rift. And in a lot of ways, I do. The combat is everything I was hoping for, and finding new spells and gear never failed to put a smile on my face. Unfortunately, in it’s current state it feels more like a proof of concept than a finished product.- Gamezebo

Overkill 3 seems to be the victim of an identity crisis, one where it wants to be something different than what it was, but is too afraid to try anything innovative.- Gamezebo

As is, it’s decent. Unfortunately I’m not sure “decent” is enough, considering the competition.- Gamezebo

It certainly doesn’t hold a candle to the console games, but it carries itself surprisingly well as a handheld side story.- Gamezebo

Like knowledge passed down from mother to son, from father to daughter, Hero Generations grows as it ages. And you’ll find yourself enjoying it more and more as the digital years slip away.- Gamezebo

Voyageur is an intriguing tale of sci-fi style exploration that gradually switches from fascinating to a little too ponderous for its own good. It never quite reaches the heights of its potential, but you’ll still find it strangely compelling. Until, that is, one day it’s not.- Gamezebo

It’s an impressive title in many ways, but certainly doesn’t feel entirely comfortable on the Switch – it’s certainly a game for fans of the genre and nobody else.- Gamezebo

Ultimately Decarnation is incredibly thought-provoking. Gloria’s life in the physical world is slowly falling apart, which in turn has a significant impact on her deteriorating psyche. You’ll find yourself thinking about this game even when you’re not playing it, and there can be no greater praise than that.- Gamezebo

Otherwise, Star Wars: Tiny Death Star is a must-play if you're a Star Wars fan who enjoyed the original Tiny Tower (and if you haven't played Tiny Tower yet, say good-bye to your loved ones). Despite its familiarity, Tiny Death Star glows a strong, warm Force.- Gamezebo

Naughty Kitties is endearing at first, but difficult to love once you’ve seen all its tricks. Like many free-to-play endless runners, its failures are repetition and an unfriendly economy. Its tower defense features, adorable kitties, and playful attitude make it worth checking out, but these cats won’t find a forever home on your device.- Gamezebo

It holds up incredibly well as a multiplayer experience, and the inclusion of enhanced graphics, additional levels and online play makes the game feel like so much more than just a simple port of a classic. And as a bonus, nostalgia goggles are far from required here; a love of explosions and humor, on the other hand, most certainly are.- Gamezebo

In a genre that's full of titles that have used Trials 2 as a source of inspiration to build off of, Xtreme Wheels ends up playing more like a "me too!" title than a truly unique game.- Gamezebo

It’s a shame that Futuridium EP is such a chore to play because it is definitely one of the coolest looking iOS games currently available. There’s a stylish aspect to the color palette and polygonal level design that is undeniable. Sadly, though, a lacking core experience means that nobody—even old-school gamers—should have to require the kind of patience it would take to truly enjoy this one. Pick it up at your own risk.- Gamezebo

It's fun, it's intuitive, and it even has the ability to record play to be shared on YouTube or Facebook. The app is lighthearted with fantastic and highly saturated color palette, and despite their simplicity, each of the three characters have a wonderful amount of personality.- Gamezebo

Looking at it as a conventional game, in other words, it's not terribly impressive – short, simple and perfectly linear. But as an interactive story, or perhaps more accurately a poem, it is superb.- Gamezebo
