Everything you loved about their previous effort is back, and the tables are even better than before. If you're a fan of video game pinball, it's time to soldier up; looks like you're going to war.

Minor quibbles aside, Gunner Galaxies is still a solid shooter and an addictive spin on the Asteroids forumla. It can get repetitive in large doses, but for pick-and-play action it's just about perfect. It's a wonder the game is free.

Like any tasty drink though, the more you consume, the quicker you'll tire of it.

As popular as the series is, some evolution needs to happen if it wants to have the long term staying power of a Mario or a Pac-Man. In Rio, we're starting to see the first glimmer of that evolution.

While it's not terribly original, Fantastic Fish does what it does better than almost any other oceanic social game to date. Users of the most recent Apple hardware will probably deal with the loading much better than, say, 3GS users. But almost everyone will find something fun and worthwhile in Fantastic Fish. Definitely one worth reeling in.

Until Siege Hero finds a way to give it a real distinctiveness, there's not enough here to help it stand out in the crowd. That's too bad, too, because it really should.

If you're looking for a great board game to play with the kids, or even just a simple pass'n'play game to keep your co-workers entertained at lunch, Hey, That's My Fish! HD is well worth the price of admission.

As short as it is though, Pulse is an absolute treat for the ears.

A great casual game on the iPhone. It's easy to learn and fun to play, not to mention the fact that it's genuinely adorable. Fans of casual puzzle games will love it, as will just about anybody else.

There's so much to do in the game and, more importantly, those things are all fun. Plus, you can finally take out your anger on that darn McDonal...opps, we mean McJoint.

Deckmake Fantasy does well on so many levels that it's a real shame that the localization issues are constantly being thrown front and center. If you can look past that, then you'll have very little to complain about while playing. I'd call it a bummer, but it's by no means a dealbreaker.

Aimed squarely at people with a taste for the vulgar, sort of a latter-day Leisure Suit Larry without the soft heart and charm that made Larry such an endearing character.

An absolutely adorable, albeit frustrating physics-based game for the mobile platform.

Tap the Frog is one of those games where it feels like there's something missing, but it's hard to figure out what that is. It's not bad by any stretch of the imagination, but its appeal doesn't really last for more than about ten minutes at a time.

Moment for moment, this is simply World of Warcraft with a different world to explore, perfectly optimized for the touch screen, and a few elements left on the cutting room floor. As a Warcraft fan, I can honestly say that this lack of originality is more than appreciated. If you're going to steal, steal from the best.

Delightful, mainly because it keeps on doing what made the previous games great. It's goofy, fun, and more than a little ridiculous.

For those who don't mind a little bit of morbid fun, Unpleasant Horse is anything but unpleasant.

Compared to its prequels, Zenonia 3 doesn't exactly feel like a step forward. Instead, it feels like the same gameplay dressed in a new story. That's not a bad thing, but it means that things don't feel nearly as innovative and fun as they once did.

If you're looking for a charming little cannon-style distance game, Chop Chop Kicker delivers more than enough fun to justify the purchase – just don't expect much of a carrot on a stick when it comes to unlockables.

It lacks the immediate pull of a great puzzle game, but if you enjoy them, Halcyon is not to be missed. It's nice to see a simple, clean title appear as a good palette cleanser to some of the more complex games out these days.

Clue: Secrets & Spies has a reasonable amount of stuff going for it, but it's inconsistent in the final execution. It's not bad, but it isn't as fun as it should be, and it stops being interesting if it's played for more than a few episodes in one sitting.

Small World is the near perfect example of how board games can be a compelling experience on the iPad.

For the most part, Cannibal Bunnies is delightful. As the game progresses, things stay challenging and fast-paced enough to keep the players entertained. It's strange and weird and adorably twisted, and there's no way fans of puzzle games like Lemmings won't enjoy it to death.
