Impressively staged action JRPG with fun battles. Story purists will have to make concessions, but endgame and co-op mode are convincing.

Even though it doesn't deserve an award for innovation, as far as variety, track design, AI and long-term motivation are concerned, Juiced 2 is far ahead of the competition.

Ferocious turn-based strategy game with incredible Warhammer flair, encouraging upgrades, diverting segments and a few balancing flaws.

Ruined King ably transforms the LoL source material into an enjoyable solo role-playing game that, however, comes with a few convenience issues.

On the one hand Aion offers great player versus player combat, on the other hand the quests are quite boring, like quests to collect a certain amount of items or to kill a certain amount of monsters. But once you're in a great group fighting other players you'll forget the weaker points of the game.

The gameplay of The Red Strings Club is not very demanding, but it challenges our brains with complex philosophical questions.

Atmospheric survival action adventure in a well-executed Dune world, which lacks variety in the endgame.

The staging is more reminiscent of old-school role-playing games, the quests and storylines could sometimes be a bit more expansive and the balancing needs fine tuning. Nevertheless, I can recommend Thronebreaker in good conscience to every witch fan. I was so carried away by the story about Queen Meve that I gave her two nights in a row with just three hours of sleep - what more could you ask for?

It's fun from the first moment on. Venetica offers a great introduction, a fascinating story, great quests and a very charming heroine. If you don't have the time for complex role playing games, but want something more than just an adventure game, then Venetica is for you.

Far Cry 2 scores right in the core area of first-person-shooters: action. Players who like some logic and a good story even in a first-person-shooter will have their problems with Far Cry 2. Ubisoft's Africa is beautiful, but life in all its glory is missing most of the time. Travelling takes a long time and you are forced to make absurd detours because of mountains and valleys. Far Cry 2 can be reproached with a lot of things, but once the Savannah is burning they are forgotten, at least temporarily, because fighting the APF and UFLL is so much fun.
