The graphics are jaw dropping and simply the best ever in a golf simulation.- GameSpy

Its combat system is a little slow, and the learning curve may be a bit steep for some people. I also had a few lockups during gameplay, which are a MAJOR bummer if you have not backed up in a while.- GameSpy

I'm not really sure just what active Squad Leader and Advanced Squad Leader gamers are going to make of this title, but I don't see many of them being pleased with the digital version of their game.- GameSpy

It will demand a lot of your time, and a lot of your patience. It's a game that becomes really fun game once you master everything.- GameSpy

This is a good solid game, but nothing truly spectacular. It is a fun shooter, with a twist. That sniper scope adds a new dimension to the shooter genre.- GameSpy

The game is slicker than snot on a cold doorknob when you get a few friends together for some serious fragging.- GameSpy

Although it plays beautifully and realistically in some areas, others just don't and ruin the package as a whole. But remember, this is still perhaps the best football title in history. But as always, since the game is so damn good, those little quirks ending up being large quirks in the long run.- GameSpy

The game is rich, detailed and fun to play. The only large complaint I find with the game is the lack of multiplayer, which will keep Starship Troopers out of the top slot.- GameSpy

A well-polished sequel that lives up to, but doesn't necessarily advance, a real-time strategy classic. More compelling RTSs have come, and more are on the way.- GameSpy

While UT certainly does not break new ground, it makes a good transition from the PC and offers much with its unique game types and excellent multiplayer.- GameSpy

The ultimate battle game to ever hit the PC. So many of us enjoyed playing the original version; well I promise you that the original, though fun, was tame compared to this.- GameSpy

Overall I found Close Combat: Normandy Invasion a breath of fresh air in a genre where emphasis is often placed on the "amass and swarm" strategies, or resource attrition.- GameSpy

It looks and plays much like the original, simply set in two new cities. Fortunately, this is EXACTLY what the original needed. The new cities are fun to explore, the single-player challenges will keep you busy for weeks, and the multiplayer is truly unique and fun.- GameSpy

Fans of the original game can find nearly as many objects and tiles on the net for free, and may not get enough replay value out of the expansion pack to make it worth the cost.- GameSpy
