After seeing three episodes of Song Of Horror we still stand by our original assessment that this game has all the components of a strong horror adventure game rivalling those that many of us grew up with. Its puzzles won't wear you down with frustration, some of the real-time mini-game mechanics might. Nevertheless, the horror environments are sure to deliver a scare and an interesting mystery story.- GameSpace

Story of a Gladiator is an action beat'em up from Brain Seal Entertainment that puts the player in the boots of a gladiator that has lost everything. While the title "Story of a Gladiator" may be a misnomer as the actual story is short, with no real impact on much of what you do, Story of a Gladiator manages to pull off a fun action title that will keep players invested for several hours as they bash, slice, and skewer their way to the top.- GameSpace

Neverwinter Nights Enhanced Edition brings a classic game to a more modern look while retaining everything which made the original a classic in the first place. It's worth playing for anyone who hasn't ever played it and a fun trip through memory lane for those of us who have loved it. Unfortunately, the Switch version suffers from not having the touchscreen-enabled for navigating menus and in-game.- GameSpace

Midnight in Salem feels slightly rushed, and for a five year wait it really shouldn't have been, but it is still very enjoyable for both new and old players of the series.- GameSpace

With a huge catalog of beats, over 150, and multiple modes and difficulties to keep DJMAX fans and hardcore rhythm gamers occupied for hours, DJMAX RESPECT V will undoubtedly appeal to a special niche. Gamers looking for a relaxed inventory of well known songs may want to look elsewhere, as this unforgiving melody mangler refuses to pull punches on its freestyle mode, and may not have high profile tunes that other titles in this genre do.- GameSpace

So is Riverbond worth your time? If you have kids I would say that they couch coop experience is great. It introduces them to a great genre with a family-friendly filter. If you’re looking for the next dungeon crawler for yourself I worry that there just isn’t enough here to keep you interested for any length of time.- GameSpace

Dragon Quest Builders II is a game that provides the tools for one to craft some fascinating and detailed fantasy creations. The story is what drew me in, however. Dragon Quest Builders II is ultimately a game about fate and whether we are bound to our natures that hearkens to lore from the early Dragon Quest stories. Although rife with annoyances, the overall experience is worth it.- GameSpace

Blair Witch is a good homage to the film but stands on its own as a spooky, lost-in-the-woods, romp that doesn't go far enough with some of its story beats.- GameSpace

It's hard to believe that Phoenix Labs pulled off a miraculous feat such as implementing a flawless cross-save, cross-play sub-system on the four major gaming systems! Other than needing some performance tweaking on the Nintendo Switch Dauntless is a great F2P addition to Nintendo's growing Switch library. Dauntless' design of being able to jump into a quick 4-player collaborative team-up to hunt a monster is a perfect fit for the Nintendo Switch's "on-the-go" philosophy.- GameSpace

An ambitious new open world adventure from Netease that straddles the boundaries of VR and traditional desktop MMORPG. Nostos is a magical experience that ultimately has some way to go before it hits its lofty goals.- GameSpace

SuperMash is a unique concept – what do you get when you smush together two different genres of games? In this case, a mixed bag. SuperMash, a game where two of six classic console genres are combined for something new and different, comes across as a brilliant idea with mediocre implementation – with some revisions to and improvements of existing content, the experience could be much more enjoyable.- GameSpace

Avicii Invector is a high intensity rhythmic game centered around the largely praised electronic musician Avicii. The tap-to-the-beat game play coincides with many of Avicii's greatest works, joyfully playing against an illuminated theme park track, that is reminiscent of the EDM scene as a whole. Although the story in Avicii Invector leaves much to be desired, and some higher difficulties will prove too challenging for the fledgling rhythmic gamer, Avicii Invector is a faithful tribute to the late musician and his work.- GameSpace

I enjoyed every moment of Lost Ember, and when I stopped playing, I just wanted to get back in the game and wander around more and find more of the memories. The way the wolf and ember’s stories interweave is also touching and drew me into the world. It’s only about 6 hours long, depending on how much time is spent exploring, but it’s a great focused adventure game.- GameSpace

I found the game very enjoyable in short game-play sessions. The drawn-out missions did play a part in the playability of the game but as luck would have it, I am such a huge Gundam fan I stuck with it. This title does feature Partial Controller support but as the interactions were limited, I found using the mouse and keyboard quicker and more fluid.- GameSpace

Woven is the poster child for cozy gaming that makes you want to just slow down and savor precious moments. What makes this game even more remarkable though is how ingenious solving puzzles are. The idea of soft toys being like Transformers that convert into superhero's (disguised as other stuffed animals, not cars) is just brilliant. I hope Alterego Games merchandise actual toys that can be interchangeable in this way, that sounds like a gold mine waiting to be discovered just like this game.- GameSpace

AeternoBlade 2 is a continuance of AeternoBlade, an action time-puzzler by CORECELL Technology. This action-puzzle game implements multiple styles of combat with an interesting time manipulation mechanic. While the puzzles are mostly enjoyable, the combat is largely uninspired, leading to tedious boss encounters and aggravating 3D battles that quickly neutralizes the fantastic points of AeternoBlade 2's design.- GameSpace

Farming Simulator 20 drives smoothly on the Nintendo Switch. Mainly being a game where you are only basically in the cockpit of your vehicle it isn't difficult in anyway to navigate especially since you can touch your screen to move your camera however draw distance on the Nintendo Switch seems very limited. It is difficult to enjoy a simulator if I am unable to see where my next task is turning my sessions of Farming Simulator 20 into a guessing game fairly quickly which is no fun at all. This version of Farming Simulator plays out like an after thought that needs drastic improvement as a "mobile console" title.- GameSpace

WarpThrough is an indie arcade gem. The restriction to stop moving in order to attack is deceptive in that, it's the attacks and the characters themselves that define the skill required to complete levels. The short story mode and lack of lobby based online multiplayer may dissuade some players from giving this a try, but the online leaderboard will go a long way to making WarpThrough a game worth a cult following.- GameSpace

Jamestown+ is a strange trip through space-age colonial times. Take control of several ships with dozens of optional load outs and protect Roanoke and Jamestown alongside John Smith from the allied forces of the Spanish and the Martians. While the premise may seem weird and hokey, the gameplay is solid, fun, and is sure to satisfy shoot'em up fans for hours with multiple difficulties, unlockable game modes, and additional challenge tiers.- GameSpace

Phoenix Point is an entertaining experience for all of those who interested in the tactical-strategy genre. It mostly uses the same elements that we’d seen in the XCOM series, but thanks to several new features, the gameplay distinguishes itself from XCOM. However, you have to get along with some disappointing technical issues.- GameSpace
