If you are not competitive about collecting rewards in your games and prefer calm, quiet playthrough to enjoy a variety of tracks, Soundfall is well worth it. Different music styles will keep you from getting bored while you save the lands of Symphony.- GameSpace

Immortals: Fenyx Rising - Myths of the Eastern Realm marks the return of the game back to the more open-world adventuring as opposed to the instanced puzzle-solving of A New God. However, the DLC does not manage to differentiate itself enough to stand tall. While visually stunning and delving into the rarely touched Chinese mythology, Myths of the Eastern Realm, the expansion feels much more subdued and even a bit unsure at times, especially when it comes to humor.- GameSpace

Despite some great puzzles and an interesting group mechanic, I will be waiting before returning to Hyakki Castle. If you love dungeon crawlers and need something new, give it a try. If you are new to the genre then maybe start with the superb Legend of Grimrock.- GameSpace

While 88 Heroes can be fun for a quick play session, the premise feels as though it hurts the overall game. Making each level beatable by each hero makes the game a little too easy at times, but it is fun to get one of your favorite heroes and mess around with their unique abilities. While you can unlock modes that let you limit the heroes you wish to use, to either a pool of 8 with Magnificent 8 mode or 1 with solo, it still doesn’t quite solve the game’s issue of needing to cater to all of the heroes as a whole.- GameSpace

Developer Echtra Games and publisher Perfect World Entertainment have released Torchlight III. The game has a lot going for it, from its stylized graphics to the overall feel of combat. But it is currently missing a spark that the previous two entries in the series captured.- GameSpace

I wish I could give this a better rating than I did; Twin Mirror is definitely one of Dontnod’s weaker efforts that I can remember. It is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.- GameSpace

While Spelunker Party is definitely not your traditional platformer, playing through the game either solo or with a group is great fun. Though completionists will not be able to collect everything on their own, the quality of the game and sheer amount of things to do make this a great game to pick up. If the large number of items there are to collect in each level do not keep you feeling rewarded, the solving of increasingly difficult platforming sections will.- GameSpace

The Church in the Darkness send you creeping into the heart of the South American jungle to uncover the mysteries of a cult, the lure of their message, and the status of your nephew. Will they welcome you with the love of Jesus or is God the only one in this camp who will have mercy on your wretched soul?- GameSpace

If you’re a fan of interpreting the meaning behind dreams or stories, or if you like the puzzle aspects in piecing together understanding from a hodgepodge of randomness, then you might really enjoy SELF. But I think there are better options for text-based adventure games out there on the Switch. For the 2-3 hours it took me to complete every ending I don’t feel like it’s worth the time or money that could otherwise be invested into other things. Although a lot of the Kafkaesque story beats, like the father-son relationship and the surreal, absurdist scenarios the boy found himself in, were unique and initially interesting; SELF just didn’t have the metamorphosis it needed to turn into something greater.- GameSpace

While Atom RPG does capture the essence of the Fallout series this console port seems to fall short of the exceptional ratings it's seen on Steam. The unintuitive controls take some guesswork, almost to the point of being frustrating, Combat feels slightly awkward as well. The RNG gods seem irritated as trying to get through a battle, early on, unscathed is a challenge. On the flip-side, it is quite playable in undocked mode (on-the-go) but be prepared to read a "lot" of small-ish dialogue text. Nevertheless, characters are filled with engaging and witty dialogue to tell a great story.- GameSpace

Cyanide & Happiness Freakpocalypse is a point-and-click adventure with all the great comedy one comes to expect from the comics and animations. The story is great and there are many hidden funny gems to discover and unlock. With great voice acting and dialogue, this is a great opening to what is bound to be a fun trilogy.- GameSpace

The game is visually appealing and offers you the ability to just pick up and play without much need for overly complicated things. Antigraviator offers a nostalgic gameplay with updating graphics and keeps to what games should be, Good Old Fashioned fun.- GameSpace

With all this packaged together, the player is presented with a well-balanced package that gives gamers a taste of what it used to be like to be called a gamer but never pushing so hard as to cause a rage quit, tip over the arcade machine and demand your quarters back.- GameSpace

It’s a fun and zany game with a quirky art style (feels similar to Don’t Starve) but it can be cumbersome. Also, the randomization can hurt: I had to start several games over from minute 1 when there wasn’t enough free space to start building my haunted house. Also… the ability to have multiple stories would be nice. Haunted basements, anyone? Attics?- GameSpace

The Nintendo Switch doesn’t allow for too many racing games to shine with the well-regarded Mario Kart 8 Deluxe hogging the spotlight. But Gear.Club Unlimited is stealing the limelight this holiday season with its racing sim action, RPG-lite upgrade system and beautifully rendered licensed cars. Although it’s not a true racing sim, this is still the best racing game available on the Nintendo Switch to date.- GameSpace

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite has some good ideas that could become a great game in time, but with a huge amount of ill-conceived baggage that’s repetitive or tedious to play, and relying on a tiresome story to hold it together. While it’ll likely please the fans, this is one that muggles should avoid for now.- GameSpace

Fracter is a dark yet hauntingly refreshing puzzle game. The game is short in story and length but priced fairly to match. Each of the levels was relatively complex and contained unique and fun brain teasers without causing one to become frustratingly mad. Any puzzle fanatic looking for a "quick fix" should add this one to their "wish list"!- GameSpace

Playing ELEX II left me with a strong impression that the game is largely geared towards those who have already spent a lot of time playing games from this studio. If that's you, your take from the game may be different than someone new to the series and you'll likely have a blast, especially if you loved the first game. If you're new to the series, you may want to bone up on YouTube videos about ELEX I before diving into an interesting, multi-faceted world albeit one fraught with performance and graphical issues. Chances are things will improve with time and patches so maybe it's best to wait a while and let the dev team catch up to the game's potential.- GameSpace

Fly Punch Boom is a unique take on the fighting genre with a host of over the top combat effects, quick reaction button presses, and some zany characters that are quite entertaining. The rock paper scissors battle resolution system may not appeal to players looking for a more skill based fighter, but Fly Punch Boom is definitely a nice diversion that can keep you busy for several hours.- GameSpace

A trip to Shibuya like you've never seen it before. Reynatis is a standout title that brings a bunch of inventive ideas together for an entertaining RPG. It's onyl a shame that the execution feels a little light. If you're aching to head back to the scramble and escape the daily bustle, then this intriguing commentery on how Japan see's istelf is worth picking up.- GameSpace

I found the game very satisfying overall. There are, of course, a few hiccups here and there that will doubtless be resolved in time. Nothing is so terrible, however, that it takes away from the overarching experience.- GameSpace

Hammerting is a great concept that runs afoul of its status as an early access game. Although systems are largely in place, some more polish and a mountain load of content could put Hammerting on its way to be a masterpiece of dwarven craftmanship. [Early Access Provisional Score = 60]- GameSpace

Overall, the game will feel very familiar if you’ve played other mobile, turn-based RPGs. The fun factor here comes in waves, especially for the die-hard Iron Maiden fan, in trying to collect iconic Eddie incarnations as well as advancing in stages to hear the awesome Iron Maiden soundtrack.- GameSpace
