Atomicrops is an exciting and challenging rogue-lite farming simulator that somehow manages to maintain its fun factor with high replayability no matter how many times you die. It can be extremely difficult for those not used to playing rogue-lite games, but its fun art style and RNG elements manage to keep it fresh and engaging. Atomicrops is strangely addictive, and for $14.99 on the Epic Games store, it's an absolute steal.- GameSpace

Overall, this Switch version stands up right next to the other versions of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, and I was pleasantly surprised by it. While some things could be better in the game as a whole it doesn’t deter from the overall enjoyment of the story of Dragon Ball. I personally would like to have seen this one start all the way back in Dragon Ball when we first meet everyone, which would truly be a Kakarot story.- GameSpace

This remake of a Gameboy Advance classic will hopefully find some new followers on this newer system. The easy-going, laid back, open-world style might not be the perfect fit for everyone. The game's tried-and-true formula, with short calendar days, seems to be a prime fit for short gameplay stints, especially for people who have busy lives.- GameSpace

Whether you’re an older gamer like me chasing the experience we had in our youth, or a newcomer to the retro genre, it’s worth your time. You’re in for hours of entertainment from one playthrough alone, and even more, if you’re a completionist that craves finding all the secrets a game has to offer. So do yourself a favor: load up the eShop (or Steam if you don’t have a Switch), search for Tiny Barbarian DX, click the ‘buy’ button and settle in for a great time.- GameSpace

Tower of time is one of those games that does a lot of things well, doesn't do anything poorly, but unfortunately has a few things that are just average or don't fit the style of the game.- GameSpace

Previous Amnesia games have repeatedly fallen behind the horror that haunted the castle in the original game, but Amnesia: The Bunker is already showing potential in this regard. Bunker still feels like an exciting and increasingly important step forward for the Amnesia series. Players will love the change in the scale of the gameplay and the bigger storytelling and the new ways to interact with the world our hero is in. Having weapons and all the explosions you will bring back can change the atmosphere a lot but I will say they are not endless, and what will happen when you are left alone with the monster?- GameSpace

Gamer is more than plentiful these days with all types of genres ranging from first-person shooters, MMO’s, and every game/movie adaption you can shake a stick at. It is nice to see a Gem among them shine so brightly. This title features a bit of everything I have come to admire about other games and rolled into a creepy yet satisfying game. Dying Light 2 Staying Human has earned the title of the favorite game of 2022 at this time.- GameSpace

It reveals a timeless truth that we would be careful to heed in our heightened cultural climate: the fires of revolution always burn hot, but they are uninhibited in who or what they consume.- GameSpace

Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire brings a world full of challenges, dangers, and risks in which you are about to make your history. Thanks to its incredible quest design, your adventure in the world of Deadfire has nothing less than the main storyline of the game. It’s a huge, detailed, and living game that deserves to be played over and over.- GameSpace

A fun well thought out point and click adventure game. This genre isn’t for everyone, but for those who like it, then this is a definite buy. If you’re new to the genre this would be a good first dip into the water, although its sub-genre of a sci-fi Nordic Noir may be a bit different than what you’re expecting; but in a good way.- GameSpace

Despite the Elder Gods being presented as cute, quirky waifu material, Sucker for Love: First Date knows how to present its horror elements in a scary way: bloody rituals, terrible spells and their consequences.- GameSpace

SpellForce 3: Fallen God provides players with more SF3 goodness. The story, told from an unusual perspective, shows you a gripping tale of a dwindling tribe trying to survive as opposed to previous instances of Saving The World.- GameSpace

Ancestors Legacy is a great new take on the RTS genre. While it has it's flaws, it's a breath of fresh air to a stagnant genre of games. It's laid back approach to real time strategy games allows more access to more players without causing too much effort to learn the game. Overall it's a great time.- GameSpace

A great third-person shooter that aims to be family-friendly. It takes what previous games did well and adds more content to it at a lower price. PopCap Games knows how to develop a cast of silly and uniquely designed characters.- GameSpace

Sequel to the beloved action adventure from Odd Bug Studio, Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter puts players in the shoes of Arlo, the heir to the Warden of the Wastes, as he seeks to avenge his father and rebuild his home. Prepare to fight fang and claw, go through numerous equipment to see what fits you and helps in the battles with unique bosses, all against the stunning backdrop of dark medieval fantasy.- GameSpace

On top of the original base game, Ittle Dew 2 + on the Switch has the Dream World which adds 5 new dungeons with their own difficulties to conquer, a new boss, and cards to collect. It's a great way to make a somewhat short game last a little longer. And trust us, Ittle Dew 2 is so charming you'll want it to last as long as it can.- GameSpace

Back 4 Blood is one of those games that you don’t have to particularly worry about grinding, which is incredibly refreshing. Between grinding for in-game currency for dungeon gear in FFXIV, and trying to level up my weapons in Dauntless, it’s nice to have a game I can jump back into with my friends at any point in time and just play. It’s fast-paced, creative, and just all-around good fun. What’s not to love? The game has been out for a while, but that just means that the developers have had more time to listen to feedback and start fixing some of those bugs that have been bothering players.- GameSpace

While Lumo is a charming throwback game to the puzzlers of old, many of the issues with the game’s older design rear their head again here. Those who are fans of the genre will enjoy the game, while those going in blind will most likely find themselves frustrated with the game.- GameSpace

Darksiders Genesis translates everything from its 3rd person predecessors perfectly, I have zero complaints about the gameplay itself. The additional core system and the myriad of upgrades ensures boredom never sets in and I highly recommend anyone who’s got an even passing interest in this gives it a go.- GameSpace

Escape from Duckov is a brilliant, witty, and incredibly addictive experience. It's a must-play not only for Tarkov fans looking for a fresh perspective on the familiar torment, but also for anyone who appreciates deep, systemic games with impeccable game design. It's a loud and clear signal to the entire industry: the future of the genre lies in manageable difficulty, respect for players and their time, and a willingness to embrace bold experiments, even if they start with a joke about ducks.- GameSpace

Vaporum is a great throwback to the days of classic dungeon crawlers. The game is full of puzzles, exploration and a wonderful narrative all wrapped in some nice, basic RPG elements. If you're buying this Switch version purely to go mobile then be forewarned that it might induce eye strain, otherwise, it's a strong buy.- GameSpace

Signs of the Sojourner is a slice of life deck building narrative game. If that was more than a mouthful for you, you may consider steering clear of this game as the conversation based game-play will careen you down a narrative driven path rife with haggling and sometimes fleeting relationships. For the right gamer, Signs of the Sojourner will provide the kind of unique game play that you can't find anywhere else. For deck builder fans, you may find it hit or miss to your tastes, but if battling is more your speed, this might not be up your alley.- GameSpace

It manages to tick all the genre tropes but with a knowing sense of its own ridiculousness. At times the writing can be a little uninspired, but when it decides to forge its own path, Lovingly Evil and its more inventive moments is as ridiculous as an army of trained murder squirrels, assuming your evil plan involves trained murder squirrels. With a sinfully gluttonous amount of replay value and some inventive ideas, Lovingly Evil won’t conquer the world but it might annex your heart, plant a flag, and start taxing you per beat.- GameSpace

Spellforce: Conquest of Eo is a delightful spin on the 4X strategy genre. However, it remains just a step away from being truly ambitious with most systems continuing to play the second fiddle to the overall exploration and management.- GameSpace
