Fighting game fans have been blessed with an embarrassment of riches over the past few years, and SFxT is definitely a top shelf example of the genre.

From start to finish, the single player campaign of Bound in Blood definitely provides one of the most memorable FPS gaming experiences of the year.

Beyond that, Tropico 3 is a fantastically addictive single player game that will have you up until the wee hours of the morning — who knew a Castro sim could be so much fun?

With a ton of new features including The Solid Eye, improvements to the graphics, the huge improvement in the amount of cards you can have, all in all I think that Metal Gear Ac!d 2 will not only appeal to fans of Metal Gear Ac!d series, but anyone who enjoys tactical strategy games and doesn't mind the cartoonish graphics.

Split Second's longevity isn't in its innumerable tracks. It's in finding new ways to better yourself in its smaller set of them.

Dead Space is most frightening when you’re backed into a corner and fighting for your life in the darkness, and absolutely awe-inspiring during the quiet moments of solitude. From major elements like the HUD-less display and the believably intricate machinery to the simplicity of a forgotten magazine, the attention to detail is absolutely staggering.

This doesn't feel like a knock-off Lord of the Rings game, rather it comes off as a true labor of love from designers that have a very good understanding of the material from which they are working and the finished product is much better because of it.

Before you run down to the store and get your copy, do yourself another favor, get the 4 meg. Ram upgrade as well. You will not regret it. The Hi-Resolution mode in this game is incredible. Awesome.

Sure the expansion could have been used to fix a few minor bugs, but Big Huge Games obviously focused on new features and campaigns, rather than building a "patch you have to pay for."

On a final note, the menu looks amazing. I know it really doesn't matter that much, but it really does. And it's customize-able! And that's not a bad thing. It's a good thing.

In the Xbox's version, everything is silky smooth, while the PS2's is marred by jaggies...Aside from the annoying Xbox controller..., this is the version of the game to have for any true Tony Hawk fan.

Like the visuals, the sounds rock the house. Besides the incredibly great soundtrack, the sound effects are some of the best around.

The best parts of the graphics are all the taunts and celebrations the players do in between plays, and there are plenty.

Quite possibly is the best N64 game ever. Forget "Golden Eye," "Perfect Dark," and "Zelda"...they don't even compare to Conker's.

While PlanetSide isn't a perfect experience, and will be in development for the life cycle of the product (as most decent online games tend to be), it is nonetheless and addictive, frantic and rewarding experience for gamers that enjoy action peppered with some "RPG lite" elements.

It has some small flaws and is not quite the open, never-ending quest that the game's hype would have had us believe, but a play through is well worth the gamer's time. And perhaps at least two times through: once as the ultimate do-gooder and once as a tyrant that would make Hitler blush.

Made very well, however it requires 3 players or more to be some serious fun.

Sadly it just misses true greatness because its benefit to cost ratio just does not balance. At half its price I'd give it the big five sharks without hesitation.

The save system is also a major weakness. Unlike so many games now that allow the gamer to save at any time, Echoes employs the save-point method that only allows saving at specified locations that must be reached.

If Mega Man Battle Chip Challenge is not the most evilly addictive game I've played in years, I don't know what is. I just got up from a playing session almost five hours long and all I want to do is go back and play some more.

Even though it has cheesy voiceovers and story, it can still send chills down your spine. I'd definitely recommend this game to anyone who likes the other Resident Evil games or anyone who's looking for a fun, exciting game.

It seems that Capcom does listen to its followers, because CVS2 is light year ahead of its predecessor, in game play, options, and presentation.

The reason I like the Sidekick feature is that you can never be ‘left behind’ by your friends and teammates.

But Links 2004 on the Xbox is pure relaxation for the video gamer. No high-pressure, adrenaline-soaked gaming here, just the pure satisfaction of a perfectly executed swing and the resulting well-placed plop of the ball on the green.

A little "Tony Hawk," a little "SF Rush 2049," and a lot of "Wipeout" mixed together perfectly to form one of the best racers in a while.

By far the most fun game I have played on the PS2.

The first console software package to offer these games since they originally appeared on the 2600, so in a way it represents history itself. The arcade games also offer some of the best play experiences from the days when arcades were king. It's a great package that should be in any serious gamer's collection.

Control is dead on accurate, but for those FPS junkies, you'll need to get used to yet another slightly different set-up.

After watching the characters dance and listening to the game's great music, I now find myself dancing around my house like an idiot.

The most amazing thing about this game is that the controls are incredibly simple while the gameplay is quite detailed.

What truly set this game apart from the rest was its sense of actually being in another world.

Is it the best fighter ever? No, but hey, it's light years better than "Tekken Tag" and a hell of a lot more fun than "Virtua Fighter 3."

Another thing that I found annoying was the fog effect. I do not know if it is hiding pop-up or setting the mood of the story (which it does an excellent job for since you cannot see 10 feet down the street). I just found it very annoying.

Finally, finally, FINALLY: someone got it right. Infogrames has produced one of the greatest 'Classic' discs in a long time.

The graphics are flawless. Super-smooth, fast, seamless environments stretch on as far as the eye can see. While the GameCube should easily be able to do this, it's the frenetic pace that makes it most impressive.

The only thing holding it back from being a perfect conversion are the sound effects, which seem muffled and slightly off key. Ignore them and play the game, the new text is so worth it.

Characters are animated smoothly with uncanny lifelike emotion. Not to mention that extra attention has been given to ghosts in terms of clothing facial expressions and overall creepiness.

The graphics, the sound, and the street games... Sega knows how to make a winner.

Even after you unlock everything you will still be down to take on your friends with the multitude of things you acquired; such as throwback jerseys, courts, legends and street ballers.

The controls and general feel of the game are very shallow. At no point did I feel like I was in a truly 3D environment, and I never felt like I was actually cruising around in space.

The game play will be familiar to veterans of the series and is easy enough for newcomers to pick up in a hurry.

The most extraordinary thing you'll find in this new game is a mode called Revenge. Revenge is the game's answer to story mode, and it is a story indeed.

There are so many things within NHL Hitz 20-02 to unlock and challenge you the game play is unmatched in any hockey game thus far.

The players look amazingly real with fluid human like movement. The close up celebration scenes are terrific and mimic actual celebrations in the real game.

The game looks great. Granted, it's not in hi-res mode like its PS2 counterpart, but DC players get on-line play, so nyah, nyah.

If it weren't for the shoddy visuals and sub-par controls, this would be a really good game.

Overall the game has a more arcade style to it than past PGA Tour titles. And, though the graphics are borderline atrocious, this is a giant step in the right direction for golf videogames.

The Game Cube controller, while receiving some criticism when it was first announced, provides perfect button usage with WR.

The control isn't the easiest to get the hang of, there were times I thought about snapping that little analog stick right off the controller!

There's no loading time, ever, and you can always see some part of the map, fully animated, from where you currently are. It's a neat trick that isn't fully realized until you a few hours into playing.
