Guardians as a game are just a faint shadow of the movie, so just the most devoted comic and movie fans can find something good here. It's not really bad, but Telltale definitely can do better. They can still improve a lot before the series end.

StarCrawlers is a space-punk dungeon crawler that offers a great atmosphere, a splendid combat system, an engaging set-up and a rather interesting story. Besides several minor flaws, the major fun killer is an unfortunate focus on the procedurally generated content that can‘t compete with manually created work yet.

The best rally game on the market and the triumphant return of the famous series. Codemasters listened to both the ovations and the lamentations and made a great driving game with lots of bonus content for everyone. DiRT will not stay undefeated this year – at least on the gravel.

The DC Comics top heroes break their noses in a grand show. NetherRealms improved not only the visuals but also the story, game mechanics and bonus content. The result is an almost universal combat game, which will please everyone, and will steal dozens or even hundreds of hours from your life.

Original, stylish and user-friendly combat game, that will entertain you with its gameplay in local multiplayer. But Arms suffers from a desperate lack of content and functions. Basically, there is nothing that you would expect from a full price modern combat game.

In the Rime adventure there is no talking. For this silent game speaks a wonderfully crafted environment, refined puzzles, a holiday mood and a fresh pace for 3D platformers.

The story is so dense, it could discourage with a pile of text and a small amount of action, but anyone who gives Trails in the Sky the 3rd a chance, gets tens of hours of great entertainment, brilliantly written characters and an interesting story.

A tribute to the doom-esque games failed. The game is knocked down by the basic elements of gameplay, such as procedurally generated environment, boring weapons and stereotyped enemies.

In Skylar & Plux, there is a genuine joy of simplicity. In a shorter, but more concentrated 3D arcade, the whole family enjoys a great entertainment with no delays and heavy heads.

Futuristic Tokyo is a beautiful and stylish city. It offers great stealth, pleasant freedom and great atmosphere. It’s a pity camera-shuffles sometimes make the shooting unpleasantly difficult.

The Surge introduces a fresh breeze into the action RPGs by its placing and fresh approach. It is a pity that developers have run out of ideas when they were designing levels.

The microproject about family misery prefers the idea before gameplay. A good scenario forces you to think about life and death, but the perfect story-based adventure must offer more.

An extravagant puzzle adventure combines gambling, carnival and detective story. From all this came an irresistible game full of tension, logical thinking and time shifting. A must-have for anyone who do not mind using a brain while playing.

An eye-catching pointillism with a unique discovery mechanism with which you won't discover so much in the end. Even so, you will get a special experience and some printscreens from this cave.

An excellent sequel of the series that will allow you to spend a year in the skin of a high school student and during that time shape the future of the world. It offers nearly a 100 hour experience that blends JRPG with adventure, logical puzzles, and dating simulation. It entertains all the time, even though sometimes it can frustrate with its cruelty. It’s a must have for the fans of the previous games, and an ideal startup title for the newcomers.

The major problem with Realpolitiks is that the game has little to do with reality or with politics or ultimately with the funny design of other grand strategies.

Sometimes unnecessarily frustrating and obsolete, but still top turn-based strategy with great emphasis on RPG elements. Fans of the series will be thrilled. And the others? For them, it's just another good reason for buying 3DS, and to try Fire Emblem finally. It's really worth it.

Pinstripe is a wise and catchy platformer. To be perfect, however, it lacks richer content, which is trying to compensate with an interesting idea and magical visuals. Lovers of arcades with storyline will be certainly pleased.

The emotional confession of the family haunted by the curse gave rise to one of the most wonderful adventures of the game history. Its originality, atmosphere and specific gameplay made it into a real piece of art.

A slightly above-average realtime strategy does not reach the quality of its predecessors. Although it looks wonderful, it’s flawed by the design decisions like no cover, low stamina units or the only one MP mode.

Excellent first person action with a strong RPG element allows countless gameplay approaches with its sensitively set systems and fantastic game- and level- design. It brings an eye-catching story, a great scriptwriting, a mercilessly exciting atmosphere, and it does not allow criticism of logical deficiencies because it explains everything carefully. Technically, it is flawless and runs smoothly. A handful of minor flaws can be overlooked with no regret.

The unfinished product is pulled back to the ground not only by its technical issues, but also the inconsistency or the fuzziness of the original concept. The game playability save its robotic probes and tremendous modularity.

Hearthlands is a comprehensive strategy game in the Majesty series style, that offers relatively sophisticated micromanagement and original features. Its flaws, such as the absence of a story line, remind you of the modest developmental conditions, but in most cases, you will enjoy it like a good AAA game.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 is a mix of disparate game genres that often do not make sense. Atmosphere and action gameplay are not bad, but instead of graceful ballistic dances, it rather shoots its own legs with technical issues, ugly graphics, poor optimization, and a miserable story, which results in a title that has nothing to offer.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe does not have the ambition to push the boundaries of the genre, nor to upgrade the old habits. In some cases, game cannot keep up and does just a little more than the original MC 8. However, it does it all marvelously, and if you have a couple of friends, you will enjoy a lot of fun.
