Yesterday compensates its flaws for its great story - an element that's been the most important thing in adventure genre. If you get over its lower difficulty level and its brief duration, you might get some thrilling experience of great pace and with great atmosphere, and you will cherish that impression even after the game is over.- Games.cz

This cellar adventure called Legend of Grimrock is like Prince Charming waking up his Sleeping Beauty, hopefully, proving that his charm has not faded away as some people might have thought so. Its scope and its combat system should have been made more complex, however, its fine quality of dungeon design kills all the flaws off.- Games.cz

A second-rate shooter that's trying to hide its flaws under traditional Resident Evil paraphernalia, such as zombies, heroes and all the other things. A campaign of the game is pointless and without any content at all. Many of the annoying flaws do make your gameplay even harder and, unfortunately, many of those flaws are even in its multiplayer that might have been different if the authors had taken it as their primary goal.- Games.cz

Almost an abusive downloadable content trading on the very own content of ArmA 2 without scruples. Still, it's appropriate to recommend this game to those admirers of ArmA 2 and its air missions with the Hind helicopter. Setting and pilot in the Take On Helicopter game is working better and it's even more catchy than in ArmA.- Games.cz

An unfinished game that could have been entertaining if you didn't have to put so much effort to actually enjoy it. If your character didn't have to level up so slowly, you wouldn't need to invest more money into it. If someone had done their work, there wouldn't be need for this incomplete piece of junk. Not even its low price can change its outcome. There's not even a smile on Joker's face and that is always a bad sign.- Games.cz

A badly designed game with flaws that br(e)akes its multiplayer dramatically. You know, being unconventional and not able to write a proper game code doesn't pay off sometimes.- Games.cz

After the first cult installment with its second sequel Cannon Fodder 3 does not stand as a respectable follow-up. It is not even a good game. It's such a dull thing.- Games.cz

An excellent port of console fighting game hiding behind its jaunty good-looking graphics an entertaining fighting-system, a great number of playable characters and mainly its fine worked-out online/local multiplayer.- Games.cz

This tangle thingy that's been quite controversial for some time is built upon well-established Street Fighter rules making more and more content out of the well-known genre. Don't get scared of its complex game mechanics and after a few hours you'll never want this action ride to end.- Games.cz

An excellent stealth-logic small game with a hero you'll grow on in no time. It doesn't matter if you're a hardcore or a casual player - all of you will have a good time with Warp.- Games.cz

An arcade style racing game that's been hardcore and entertaining runs the risk of losing its reputation by a rather absurd distribution model. If it really lacks something? In fact, it lacks new tracks and a career mode.- Games.cz

Ruins of a post-apocalyptic city have great potential but not there yet. The game is bringing up many interesting ideas but those are halfway through it. It's obvious that earlier plans have been much more ambitious, however, their outcome is ruining experience, not to speak of game's difficulty creating an imbalance in it.- Games.cz

A puzzle game that set everything in its positive first impression. The thing is you'll soon find out that its stylized beauty is dull scenery in fact. Its potentially interesting game mechanics do also tire out just as quickly as your reserve fund before Christmas madness.- Games.cz

A standalone expansion taking the original that's been already excellent and setting out completely different rules you need to adapt to. For lovers of the series this is the must-have expansion. The reason behind it is its special setting, built upon the Shogun 2 time-tested structure, you've never seen before. Once again great fun for tens of hours.- Games.cz

A hardcore strategy game for hardcore strategists; however, even relatively newcomers are going to be enthralled by it. Ignoring minor flaws such as the military unit price or the extensive military unit range - this is an unconventional and above all an entertaining title that will catch you and won't let you go.- Games.cz

A truly bold combination of anime and simple fighting game. It's a perfectly worked out audio-visual piece of work, albeit a short one; its gaming part is even shorter than its anime part. This hybrid is counting on three things: stylization, drawing you into a story, and a fact that you like anime, in which you have a desiring opportunity to hack all those bad guys to bits.- Games.cz

A very good brand-expansion that relies heavily on its combat. However, it ignores the main virtues of the brand itself such as: atmosphere, suspense, fear and a classic horror story. It's working, it's entertaining, true, but one can't help thinking the game has been rushed out.- Games.cz

Mass Effect 3 offers the best of the series: a very well-narrated and mature story, elaborated major and minor missions, entertaining combat. It seals off the trilogy that has no equal among video games.- Games.cz

A sloppy singleplayer that is pretending to be something it is not is being rescued by its entertaining cooperative multiplayer. Unfortunately, the co-op still needs much more content to be acknowledged as the fully fledged game.- Games.cz

This mix of a strategy, role-playing and text-adventure game has its strong story moments with its quite often entertaining battles. On the grounds of these facts it's a pity the game is being struck down by pointless linearity and a noticeable game elements imbalance.- Games.cz

This highly-developed mediaeval strategic game with an enhanced classic system made by Paradox offers a thrilling and absorbing experience of the uncompromising politics - or more precisely - of the European mediaeval life of nobility in the 11th to the 15th century. It doesn't matter if you build great dynasty of yours or not - there are always goals you want to fight for. Crusader Kings II lets you to recreate the history - don't miss this unique opportunity.- Games.cz

The long road for the PC with Alan Wake was not in vain. It brings an excitement, fear, anxiety, enthrallment and alleviation. Those are the feelings you will experience all by yourselves directly from the young writer. And that's definitely worth it.- Games.cz

A very good action-adventure game with varied and entertaining gameplay. However, it's quite boring to watch all those characters and scenario as well as it is a tiresome experience to use all those new functions of the PS Vita handheld. Fortunately, you don't need to use them to the full. And then, when you click off all the dialogues there is nothing that could stop you from your enjoyment of cool graphics and great action passages that are plenty.- Games.cz

When we compare Shank 2 to the previous instalment we see developers eased up a bit and at the same time they stepped up a gear. The outcome is it's still a great bloody action that will please both fans of the series as well as the newcomers.- Games.cz

A great game that is compensating for some of its flaws for a good story, brutal and addictive gameplay and last but not least for its distinctive charm. If you are bored to death by modern shooters with their constant flood of soldiers, tanks and other army-like stuff, and if you are tempted to get intoxicated with an effective obscure power of the Darkness, you should not miss The Darkness 2.- Games.cz

Even though the Kingdoms of Amalur title looks like it's meant for Michey's fans, it is a fair and entertaining video game with a particularly well-made combat system. However, don't expect anything more. Stories of the world along with your hero will be pointless after some time being in the game, and all that's left are vast regions and tens of quests without their own identity. Regardless of my criticism, it's still worth it. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is worth of your playing till the very end, therefore you should reserve a few days and play.- Games.cz

A system-enhanced sequel of by many the controversial thirteenth installment is like a sad song. Its form wins clearly over its content that has been "improved" to the utter dullness. Buy only in the case you don't care about a story nor about a fine-tuned combat system that would offer you an appropriate challenge.- Games.cz
