Ascendant proves brilliantly to apply The Art of War by Sun Tzu into an intimate action platformer. If you are not scared of permanent death, you will enjoy perfectly motivating roguelike action game set in pleasant scenes.

A highly entertaining yet utterly bonkers adventure set in the familiar but refreshed Hawaiian backdrop. Once again, the Ryu Ga Gotoku team nailed it—just be ready for plenty of exaggeration, absurdity, and humor that feels over-the-top even by this series’ standards.

The core, which made the Geometry Wars brilliant arcade, is still there; they only add the third dimension. So the third part is enjoyable, addictive and very challenging as were its predecessors. In addition, arenas will test your skills and won’t give you a break. There are problems with the third dimension sometimes, but they won‘t bother you much, so you can enjoy the never-ending challenge.

Legacy of the Forge shows Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 from a different, more personal angle, where battles give way to the zen of medieval household life. A clever prestige system and smaller quests create a compelling loop that nicely contrasts with the game’s epic foundation. If you’ve been looking for a reason to return to Kutná Hora, look no more.

The Light Brigade is a brilliant shooter that should pique the interest of every VR enthusiast. It’s pretty long, complex, adequately priced, it boasts a great physics system and weapon mechanics. It’s not exactly beautiful, however, and its prolonged loading times can be annoying.

PES is back. It still has a lot to catch up on in self-promotion, licensing, and user-friendliness, but as of the matches themselves, football from Konami is again at the top after many years.

Cronos: The New Dawn proves that Bloober Team has finally found its stride. The studio has crafted a survival horror with striking aesthetics, original monsters, and clever manipulation of time that nostalgically recalls Dead Space and Silent Hill, while still maintaining its own identity. Atmosphere, visuals, and storytelling drive the experience forward, and though it occasionally stumbles on minor design missteps, it stands as one of the best genre entries in recent years.

Valkyria Chronicles game is a tactical and story-oriented RPG in Japanese style, which features a unique combat system, beautiful visuals and also some annoying problems with controls. But you definitely won’t be wrong if you give the game a chance.

The Man Who Erased His Name will be most enjoyed by seasoned fans of the Like a Dragon series and Kazuma Kiryu. It may not be as lengthy or unpredictable as other installments, but that's not necessarily a drawback. Primarily, it serves as a satisfying prelude to Infinite Wealth.

Spaceship-wreck invasions are really fascinating and horror-flavored experience. Deadnaut steams with thick atmosphere and offers a large amount of an unusual excitement. However, it could be a horror task for someone to get along with the austerity of the game.

Gears of War: Reloaded is a beautiful reminder of simpler times and macho fantasies. It could have used a bit more polish in some areas, but if you want to revisit the beginnings of the Locust war or you’ve been missing a straightforward, high-octane slaughterfest that’s extremely linear but instantly engaging, the money spent will be well worth it.

An excellent tank action game set against the stunning backdrop of a strange apocalypse. It strikes a great balance between exploration and combat elements, with the audiovisual presentation deserving special praise. The tank battles would lose a significant chunk of their atmosphere if the shooting and damage effects didn’t sound as good as they do. The main criticism lies in the mechanically weaker boss fights and the underwhelming final part of the game.

A sequel to the solid strategy game that is scoring with its addition of planes, its tuned up and extended original game system, and mainly with its perfect balance of the game units.

A stylish addition from the masters of the genre does not falter in any moment, and proves that the Uncharted universe can flourish even without Drake brothers. The rumors about DLC for the near full prize are plausible, but in fifth sequel, it will need more surprises and innovation than only a good playtime and a show.

The second installment of this unique motorcycle racing game has a better driving model, provides a fantastic feeling of speed and its open world is actually interesting. It’s dragged down, however, by the weird system of perks - and also by the fact that it’s so harsh and unforgiving.

Although Mario Golf: Super Rush doesn't do anything groundbreaking, it does what it does, from a great solo career to sophisticated serious golf to crazy Speed and Battle Golf. Singleplayer and multiplayer are absolutely equal partners here, to such an extent that even if you are only interested in one of them, the game can still be recommended without hesitation.

Titanic Scion is riddled with flaws, from its empty open world to a story weighed down by anime clichés, but its heart lies in the superb building and fine-tuning of mech suits. The boss battles deliver thrilling action, and its B-movie stylization ultimately feels more like charm than weakness. If you can tune into its over-the-top anime wavelength, it rewards you with heaps of fun and plenty of room for experimentation.

Rising Storm brings no shame on Red Orchestra 2. Quite the opposite, it strengthens its position as a multiplayer shooter game. The game's atmosphere, graphics, Japanese banzai attacks, and American weaponry along with balanced maps will get you. You will not find a better adapted battlefield of the Pacific War.

id Software maybe wished to create their own chef d'œuvre, but they missed it. However, apart from the wasted potential, they created a game they don't need to be ashamed of; nor do the gamers that are willing to play it.

Despite its errors and incomplete nature Grim Fandango is a fantastic adventure that you probably fall in love with. Unless you already loved Manny from before.

Don’t Starve: Shipwrecked is stuffed with new features that do not change only the set of the game, but also the way of playing. Therefore, the expansion will be enjoyable for the players who started to be a little sick of the game.

An old school RPG addressing those who love classical narrative full of turn-based combats, fiddling about with their characters, and tons of dialogues. Schematism of its visuals sort of comes with it.

Project Cars is a great circuit racing simulator, which involves such a large number of different settings, so you can prepare your own racing recipe according to your personal preferences. Great driving model and beautiful graphics, however, cannot conceal many issues the user interface has and a number of cars isn't satisfying.
