Many of us dreamt of becoming a king or a queen when we were little. Yes, Your Grace shows us why being a ruler maybe isn't quite the dream job it appears to be. The game manages to keep players engrossed with the wonderful pixel presentation, the gameplay loop and all the tough decisions, big and small, that you have to make along the way.- GAMES.CH

Please, Touch the Artwork 2 is a very well done mix between art and a point-and-click adventure. By no means does it re-invent the genre, but the simple puzzles are fun and the presentation really make the game stand out and are at the same time a central gameplay mechanic.- GAMES.CH

With WWE 2K24, 2K Games and Visual Concepts are taking another small step towards the main wrestling match. The many detailed improvements, combined with the high recognition value and the scope of the game, make for an complete WWE package. However, WWE 2K24 is missing the big innovations.- GAMES.CH

Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster enhances the graphics of the original in a proper style that is true to the nearly 30 years old classic and delivers good gamepad controls. That's fine for fans of the LucasArts classic and retro gamers who want to revisit the game. But except for them, the game is too far away from a current game production to make it a worth buy for everyone.- GAMES.CH

In the first one or two hours of play, “Inkulinati” still feels quite cumbersome. However, once you have worked your way through the numerous tutorial lessons and internalized the basic principles, the title starts to pull you in and creates wonderful gameplay moments for lovers of turn-based strategy games. The Monty Phython-inspired humor is also appealing and graphically “Inkulinati” is something very special thanks to its unique medieval style. Plays great on Steam Deck too.- GAMES.CH

Ufouria: The Saga 2 leaves you with mixed feelings, even if you can get something out of the cute felt graphics and nostalgic fans will certainly get their money's worth, the game does have some negative points. Unfortunately, the music is absolutely annoying and for inexperienced jump and run players, the game experience quickly becomes repetitive and frustrating. It is therefore only recommended for experienced or very patient players.- GAMES.CH

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake takes the presentation and soundtrack of a real classic to a contemporary level and also optimizes controls and enemy behavior. The 2-player co-op mode is a nice addition which, strictly speaking, already existed in the 2019 Switch version. If you already know the latter or have already played through the original, you are paying primarily for a nice technology upgrade. However, if you never experienced the original, the remake is undoubtedly your best option at the moment.- GAMES.CH

The creators manage to maintain the common story thread, but always adapt it so that the result feels fresh and interesting even for dye connoisseurs. This was already the case with the first part of the remake, but in our opinion it works even better here - also due to the open areas that hold many surprises and the excellent reinterpretation of key moments from back then. At the same time, what is on offer is told in such a way that even players without any prior knowledge of the series can find their way in easily.- GAMES.CH

Pacific Drive is an extremely atmospheric survival game that draws its appeal from the exuberant inhospitality of the exclusion zone. Loneliness and threatening anomalies turn our old station wagon into our closest ally. If you like roguelikes and crafting, you'll find plenty to do in Pacific Drive- GAMES.CH

While Skull & Bones is far from the worst game ever made, it completely fails in conveying its vision of becoming a legendary pirate captain. Instead, it chases every conceivable gaming trend from excessive crafting, battle passes and hands-off story telling and leaves next to no impact whatsoever. Even among Ubisoft titles, often mocked for their bland sandbox approach, “Skull & Bones” seemingly perfected the blandness with a sparse few highlights when environment, multiplayer and ship combat all click into place and reveal a wealth of untapped potential.- GAMES.CH

Helldivers 2 is an excellent co-op shooter, that sadly doesn't really build on its predecessor and instead puts a lot of the original content on a live-service road map. While the core gameplay is among the best of the genre, corporate greed ironically has sunken its claws deep into Super-Earth and the premium battle pass hides some of the most fun weapons and powerful armour behind a paywall, with more to come in the future.- GAMES.CH

Mario vs. Donkey Kong is more than a simple remake of the GBA original. Beside the fine modernized graphics there are more worlds and levels, a new co-op and dye speedrun mode. If you love the original or just a great combination of classic platformer and puzzle game, this remake should make its way to your Switch.- GAMES.CH

Islands of Insight feels like the developers took the Korok challenges from the recent The Legend of Zelda titles and crossed them with The Witness. It’s a wonderful playground full of different kinds of puzzles, some deviously crafted into the environment itself. While there’s little story to latch on to and no real fail-state, the thrill of discovery has definitely kept us going far longer into the night than we thought possible. This review was tested before general multiplayer went live, therefore we can’t speak as to how well the MMO-like aspects blend into general gameplay.- GAMES.CH

Banishers: Ghost of New Eden isn't a perfect game, but a great example, why games are much more than a sum of their single components. The dual character combat is fun and just one of the aspects, where Red and Antea form an inextricable unit. The world looks nice and is worth exploring. The heroes are pleasant and there is a lot of room for experimenting in the skill and perk system. What's partly absent is the moral dilemma within the decisions, which could have intensified this unique action journey.- GAMES.CH

Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash basically has everything a great anime fighting game needs. However, the essentially good ideas lack the necessary polish, which is why the title ultimately cannot realise its full potential. Simply put: its curse power is too low.- GAMES.CH

Against the Storm offers an fresh setting and motivating gameplay mechanics. Graphically, this indie game can't really keep up with its glossy competitors. However, the great soundtrack, the original characters, the nasty weather and the dangers lurking in the forest create a very unique, mysterious atmosphere.- GAMES.CH

While Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League isn't a complete failure, such as other recent Live-Service titles, the game's repetitive design and missed story opportunities can't match the quality and staying power of Rocksteady's previous games. Combat can be fun in short bursts, but quickly becomes stale and even the above-average loot and equipment systems can't prevent a burnout on the extremely shallow end-game.- GAMES.CH

Persona 3 Reload is a fantastic remake of an already great cult game. All kinds of clever gameplay innovations and an enormous amount of style make this a gripping JRPG that you shouldn't miss out on. The remake of the PlayStation 2 classic is even now a hot contender for the best role-playing game of the still quite young year.- GAMES.CH

Ginsha is a must-play for any fan of classic metroidvania titles. The game takes a hardcore approach with next to no guidance that can scare off less experience players, but its surprising depth and boundless exploration of wonderfully crafted sci-fi world more than make up for the occasional spike of difficulty.- GAMES.CH

Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth is not only the biggest game in the series to date, but also a real narrative highlight. Admittedly, it takes a comparatively long time for the story to really get going. But then the developers bombard us with twists and turns that surprise and emotionally thrill. The development studio does not reinvent the basic gameplay concepts, but the bottom line is that Infinite Wealth offers enough innovations and improvements that all make sense and fit nicely. However, the fact that the New Game Plus mode is not included in every version is indeed a disappointment.- GAMES.CH

If you want to experience the two Another Code games in a more or less completely new manner, the Recollection is a great opportunity for doing that. But new puzzles, cutscenes or voiceover can't hide that Another Code Recollection does not look and feel like a high value current game production.- GAMES.CH

Better graphics in both, Fidelity and Performance mode, the audio commentary during the solo campaign and especially the commented and playable dye prototype levels are solely worth the upgrade for owners of the PS4 original. But the best reason for them to play The Last of Us Part II Remastered is the new roguelike mode No Return. If you haven’t played the game yet, you should now get the PS5 version to get one of the best survival action games out there.- GAMES.CH

Be it the masterful design of the semi-open game world divided into 13 dye biomes, the continuous introduction of new hero abilities, the thrilling duels with a huge range of enemy types, the challenging puzzles and boss fights, the scope, which is more extensive than many others genre representatives or the variety of accessibility functions - Ubisoft Montpellier undoubtedly delivers one of its best games in recent years! There are minor points of criticism, but in our opinion they are primarily limited to difficulty peaks in some boss fights and the fact that the story doesn't quite as emotionally engage us as that of Hollow Knight or Ori and the Blind Forest, for example.- GAMES.CH
