For being button-masher friendly and suffering from uninspiring Career and Tournament modes, the game still somehow manages to end up as a rather top-notch boxer.

One could nitpick the title for what it doesn’t deliver, but what it does deliver is pretty amazing; a highly playable movie-licensed superhero game! Who woulda thunk it?

Despite its simple core, Dynasty Warriors 2 is appealing to me. The action gets very intense with the sheer number of people on screen.
