The gameplay doesn't really satisfy me, but what's worse are the technical issues. Still, the game has its moments and can be great fun because of the story and the force powers.

DarkSpore is technically a good game, but unfortunately only technically. The gameplay becomes very soon quite boring even so you can play with your friends, which makes it slightly better. Long term motivation is the thing that DarkSpore lacks the most.

Battle March will entertain fans of Mark of Chaos for sure due to the increased difficulty and also many other gameplay improvements. Since many shortcomings of the original remain as well, however, only those fans alone will truly enjoy Battle March. [Issue#14]

In terms of presentation sweet, though story-wise seeming like a meek afterthought. If you’re a die-hard fan of vampires we’d understand if you’d give it a go, but otherwise you’d do well to keep your hands off it. [Issue#15]

The controls for Predators and Xenomorphs may be a bit tricky and the AI sometimes doesn't show any "Intelligence" at all, but nevertheless: AvP is a most-have for fans of the movies, as well as the games - especially if you're into absolute multiplayer-mayhem and don't mind "some" gore.

Homecoming isn’t bad per se, it’s just that it isn’t frightening enough to be worthy of the Silent Hill-name. It might be a mildly enjoyable Action-game, but not much beyond that. [Issue#17]

Alien Breed: Impact is an nice action-packed Arcade game. 15 Euros is more than "ok" for eight to nine hours exciting gameplay.

A good end to the trilogy that unfortunately lacks big changes to the first two parts. Alien Breed 3: Descent shows off with polished graphics but offers only a very shortlived experience.

The graphics are low-end, the difficulty lacks challenge. Still: Recommendation for Potter-fans, casual- and young gamers.

Tiberian Twilight plays like a mix between Supreme Commander and Dawn of War - only that with C&C the video sequences and Joseph D. Kucan aka Kane the story has to offer a lot more.

Solid Mech action combined with more technical blabbering than the average gamer is likely to appreciate. For all that, it's still a cool game. Certainly not made for the broad masses, but cool.

Being a virtual mobster never has been this much fun; though the highly repetitive gameplay manages to put an end to the gun-toting joyride before long.

Well, this game certainly wasn’t able to shift my world enough to earn itself a thoroughly positive verdict. Sure, it’s not all fire and brimstone but frustratingly hectic battles and some excessive blunders concerning the gameplay managed to spoil it for good.

AlternativA is a diamond in the rough: the themes are grown up, the puzzles solveable but the presentation seems old and the story isn't consistent.

The Story may end a bit disappointingly and the level design is far from flawless, but nice gameplay-ideas and (above all) a great multiplayer-experience help to keep this game from being completely unworthy of your time. In fact: as soon as you go for the multiplayer-features (coop!), this game definitely has its moments.

The 100 pre-built Levels that come with the title are rather quickly solved, but what must not be forgotten is that you can always create more levels on your own. It may not be a game for the entire family but it’s certainly good for small party competitions.

On one hand, ArcaniA - Gothic 4's gameplay and the technical things are really good, but on the other hand you can finish the game easily in 15 hours.

Calling this game an adventure is slightly misleading, cause 15 Days is more a movie-like experience with puzzles - which is a good thing, cause the puzzles are actually the weakest part of the game.

You know the phrase "the best things in life are free"? Well, NFS: World is a good example, that this just isn't always true. It fails to satisfy gearheads and MMO-Fans alike, thanks to a lack in diversification and real MMO-Features. It's "free to play", so nothing speaks against giving it a try if you like to, but we won't recommend investing any money in it.

Among the improvements you'll encounter better graphics, better effects, better sound and music. The rest is less then good as the game practically drowns in nasty bugs and together with the strict DRMS action enforced by Ubisoft threatens to sink the game.

The bottom line is, Superstars V8 Racing is an acceptable arcade-racer, it is not a simulation, even though it has a tendency towards this direction. Casual-gamers should get Race Driver GRID and professionals should do more laps with GTR 2 or Forza, until something better is coming along the way.

Whoever is not immediately enthralled by the graphic of the game will at latest be as soon as he tried the 6-vs.-6-online- or the “be a pro”-mode. EA never truly manages to release a proper sequel – but NHL09 should be counted among the top-3 sports games. [Issue # 16]

Velvet Assassin stands out because of its atmosphere, but lacks finishing touches. Too many bugs and a gameplay slightly worse than other games in this genre.
