Beginners will be overwhelmed by numbers, facts and statistics, on the contrary professionals can romp with lots of new strategic possibilities.

Because of the high difficulty and the dated graphics Men of War can only be recommended to hardcore strategy gamers. Those however will enjoy the game immensely.

Absolute Power will give you everything a good add-on has to give: a new single player campaign with some unusual scenarios, additional buildings and some improvements, but it doesn't reinvent the gameplay.

It's a shame the developers obviously didn't have enough time to finish ArmA II properly before they shipped it: There are many bugs in the game and the AI's actions mostly just don't make sense at all. One piece of advice: Get patch 1.01 – with it the game is at least moderate fun. Still, we hope that some further patches will follow and fix ArmA II's major flaws so that it will finally become the great game it could be – next time, however, we'd like to see the game finished by the time of its release!

The Chronicles of Spellborn is definitely not a game for everyone. Compared with other MMORPGs, there’s little “typical” about it and you have to get accustomed to a lot of things, especially the completely new combat system. If you, however, like games to bring up new concepts you might like Spellborn just well.

From Dust is an exceptional game with outstanding art design and gameplay mechanics. Unfortunatly the PC port is not that good on the technical side and you can't play it offline. If you want to play that game, which I would recommend that you do, stick to the console version.

The Peninsular Campaign is certainly an entertaining add-On for Total War Fans, especially the cooperative multiplayer mode. But for those who prefer to conquer the world and a long-term entertaining game experience, should rather remain with Empire: Total War or search for alternatives.

Astroslugs unfolds quite not the addictive potential of a Tetris, but it packed a simple game idea into a challenging puzzle game with nice presentation and intuitive controls.

If you liked the Rome version of the Total War series, you will definitely be disappointed here. My advice is to download and test the demo version and afterwards decide, if you want to hurry to the local store to get the full game or not.

There is no doubt that the concept of Line Rider is ingenious, but Freestyle doesn't offer much more fun than the charming original Flash-Game.

This may be an ambitious project of an even more ambitious programmer couple, but the lack of budget that game suffered is unfortunately very easy to notice. What remains is an average game with awful graphics and buggy controls.

Considering a game featuring Clank as its main character I had my hopes high for lots of action with even more cool gadgets. We got the gadgets but the action kind of lacks: The sneaking may be fun at the beginning but with time you wished for more direct fights instead of avoiding enemies or killing them from behind (with the the same move) for the hundredth time.

As long as you enjoy Crackdown 2 in small amounts, you'll actually be having fun - if any more time than, say, 20 minutes is spent playing, the gamer will become all too aware of its shortcomings anyway and move on to a better, less repetitive game.

The most famous secret agent ever to walk the silver screen has simply deserved a better game. Quantum of Solace could’ve been so much more, but instead remains caught in a swamp of mediocrity. [Issue#17]

Some new content, some general bug-fixes – is that really enough to pay for again or would it have been wiser to provide Colonies as some free content update? One may think about that whichever way one likes to – also about the fact that Colonies players won’t be able to join those only owning the original game playing online. After all the game comes up as a nicely re-worked action shooter that will be fun to play for several hours – especially for those new to the series – but unfortunately that’s about it.

I'm not really happy with Dracula: Origin. At places we get nice old-school gameplay with demanding puzzles. But Origin isn't very extensive, the characters aren't very charming, the story is unspectacular and from time to time the puzzles are extremely hard. Advanced Fans of Adventures will have fun, everybody else will find more accessible alternatives.

Compared to the PC-version, the PSP-version seemed to have been worked on a little longer and even though I really missed the be-a-pro mode the instead featured mini-games really made for a good compensation - at least considering it’s a mobile game. So if you really want to win the European Soccer Championship on your way to school or work you won’t make a mistake by getting Euro 2008!

If you want gory action, then you have found the right game for your collection with Viking: Battle for Asgard. If you want a game with Nordic myth or good gameplay - then buying this game might be not as wise as you think. Personally I love this game and the brutality of it. In a certain morbid way I even had fun with Viking, but that might be because of my personal Hack'n'Slay-preferences. Jerking camera, stupid AI, repetitive gameplay - this game could have turned out really great. What a shame!

The bottom line is that Cursed Mountain seems to be one of those highly ambitious titles that didn't really spark all that much interest on the Wii and was thus somehow sloppily ported to another system in the hope of being able to make a decent cut there.
