Ultimate Tenkaichi may be the best looking DBZ game to hit our shores, it doesn't have the gameplay to back it up.

Backroom Beyond is overall extremely repetitive. The worst part about playing it is that there is such little reward for completing each room. Your only reward is to simply start the next area. The game has an interesting subject matter, but the overall gameplay just isn’t fun for too long. Even though the game changes up each level, you’re still doing the same thing in the long run (pushing a block over a button) and it doesn’t hold up well for long. This game needs more variety in its puzzle solving.

MXGP Pro is not bad. I really think a player that enjoys racing simulators might find something to enjoy with it. If I could get past its extreme learning curve for first time players, I bet I could have a lot of fun with it. It's hard to have fun with a game when you can't even beat the first track on any single player mode when all the other racers leave you in the dust (or dirt and mud) however.

Mad Tracks is pretty short on gameplay, which is probably a good thing since the gameplay that is there isn’t very exciting.

A lot of the balance in the game just feels off, too. Invaders come quickly and often, and there’s just no time to get your tower into a minimal defensible state. Even if you get lucky and have the cards to close off your tower, the game punishes you for this tactic by generating enemies from a moving warp portal within your tower. Your wizard is forced to collect items from the rooms that they are produced in, but you can’t give commands to your whole tower while you’re off the throne. It feels like these and other restrictions were added to compensate for issues with the gameplay, when what was needed instead was more time spent refining and balancing it. Perhaps one day a game can make these two genres work together, but Dwarven Skykeep isn’t that game.

It appears that the developers spent all of their time in creating the city and traffic, and the AI and gameplay took a back seat.

I suppose that if you have strong nostalgic feel for Speedball then the game may hold a certain appeal to you, but be forewarned that Speedball 2 - Tournament may tarnish some of your cherished memories of the game.

Prison Architect is a time-consuming game, and the time spent with it feels more like work than it does play.

There's some potential to an RPG/pinball mash-up, in fact, Zen Pinball has a table that shows that this is a viable mix, but unfortunately Rollers of the Realm is not the game to realize that potential.

Bizarre, frustrating, and overly difficult. Everything you look for in a game, right?

Puzzles in the absence of a plot can be a relaxing distraction to some, and a painful chore for others. Consider me one of the others. I found myself extremely bored playing this game.

Here's what we're dealing with: Code Lyoko: Fall of X.A.N.A. is an obtuse, for-fans-only generic RPG with no defining characteristics.

So the story is pretty run-of-the-mill. The same can be said for just about all of this game.

The primary problem with the game is that your additional form and your primary weapon, the Sword of Light, draw power from your spiritual energy. This energy is fast to drain and very slow to regenerate, giving you just a few swings of your sword before you are left without the ability to attack.
