It is, hands down, the best RPG of this console generation, but that one minor control issue keeps it just shy of a perfect score.

It's still GTA IV, but there's plenty that's new and plenty that’s fun to do. This is a ballad worth listening too...

The moment at which my endearingly annoying robot companion Claptrap fashioned himself a Mohawk out of some animal fur I collected he earned a spot on my all-time favorite robot list.

Incredible graphics, a compelling storyline, and an immersive experience. All of these features are expertly combined in Max Payne, creating a candidate for game of the year.

The control is top-notch. Some of the moves you do rely on very precise movements and you always feel that you are in total control.

If you're a lone wolf base-builder you're going to hate it, but if you're looking for the sort of coordinated effort usually reserved for tactical shooters then you'll love it.

L.A. Noire is as much an experience as it is a game, and its unique gameplay and engrossing story make it one of the "must play" games of 2011.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 pulls off one of the hardest tricks of all – providing a game that will appeal both to those who have fond memories of the original and those who are playing a skateboarding game for the first time. The controls are tight and responsive, the animations smooth and realistic, the levels are a joy to skate, and on Xbox Series X|S, the game is on a whole new level graphically. The game is a true and fitting tribute to its legacy, as well as a skating game for the new generation.

A well-designed, well-executed paragon of strategy gaming, although mouse-click maniacs may be disappointed that the game requires more thought than the typical RTS.

It has a narrow niche and it fits it well – better than any racing game I’ve ever seen. I did notice some jerkiness on my older system that just barely meets the requirements, but other than that, the game ran well.

A blast to play, even for those who are not big fans of racing games. It's easy to pick up and play, and the variety of modes and tracks keeps things interesting for a long time.

The game improves upon every aspect that helped to make the last two Deus Ex games so much fun to play. Human Revolution deserves every bit of hype that the game has gotten since its unveiling and it is a sure contender for game of the year.

One of the coolest menu systems ever to be seen a video game. If I'm mentioning a game's menus in a review, then you know that they have to be pretty darn cool.

If you truly appreciate cars, though, and wanted to get just a glimpse of what it would be like to be behind the wheel of an exotic sports car or a Grand Prix racer, then GT4 will definitely deliver everything that you’re looking for and more.

ToD is every bit a Ratchet & Clank game, well, except for the missing multiplayer game, and a great start for the series on the PS3. This one should be in every PS3 owners collection.

NBA 2K11 is the best basketball game ever made, but that is misleading. There are a lot of improvements to be made, and though the graphics are near life-like and the presentation is flawless, there are still many kinks to work out of the gameplay and making all the modes worthwhile.

If you enjoyed the original Injustice, you're pretty much a shoe-in for enjoying Injustice 2 just as much. The game enhances nearly everything from the original game. Injustice 2 has a lot of character zoning just like the first game so you'll need to get adjusted with how to deal with characters such as Deadshot or eat his bullets from long distance for an entire match. It's always hard to call out balance issues when a game first launches, but Injustice 2 seems to have less balance issues than the first game at the moment.

Overall, Paradise City is a great arcade racer in spite of some annoying navigational issues. The open world play fits the Burnout series perfectly, and Paradise City takes the series in a new and exciting direction.
