Capcom Beat'em Up Bundle is definitely a collection to pick up if you're into the niche genre of beat'em up. It's so awesome to finally have the ability to play these games online with other players and relive the arcade days. Now, if only we could find some way for Capcom to pick back up the rights to Alien vs Predator and maybe... Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, hmmm...

Arcade shooter meets online first-person shooter and the results can be pretty enjoyable.

Overall Band Hero is a good game, as it's essentially Guitar Hero 5 with a different skin and track list.

Overall, if you have a friend and an afternoon to kill, you could do a whole lot worse than Chariot.

An original ray of sunshine in a genre crowded with mindless clones.

Bigby plays both good cop and bad cop in an episode that's mostly good.

One of the few good dogfighting games out there, so if you're into them you owe it to yourself to check it out.

FIFA Street runs on to the court after four years with a shiny new look and enough moves to make your head spin.

There is a noticeable delay in pressing the attack button and the attack itself. Battles are in real time, so this delay can create all sorts of havoc.

New Super Lucky's Tale is a pure platformer pleasure. You'd be hard-pressed to find a collect-a-thon that looks and plays this silkily smooth.

WWE delivers a fresh set of upgrades, an impressive campaign mode, and doubles down on shareable customizations.

Puzzle fans should line up, march down to the store, and pick up a copy of Lemmings. Just watch out for any traps along the way.

EndWar is the supermodel of strategy games – it's nice to look at but won't present you with much of an intellectual challenge.

While not devoid of fun moments, overall Age of Booty feels more like an endurance match than a strategy game in which the first one to slip up loses.

In spite of its flaws, Destroy All Humans would be easily recommendable if the campaign lasted longer. As it stands, you can play through the game and get all that you need out of the free roam mode with a weekend rental.

Battlestations: Pacific is not perfect and will not appeal to everyone. Those with the patience to put up with the game's frustrating and annoying aspects, though, will find that there's some exciting action to be had with this diamond in the rough.

Cold War adds some interesting new elements, but nothing stands out strongly enough on its own to make it a stand-out entry in the Call of Duty franchise. It does lay a solid foundation to build upon in the future, though, so let's see where this goes.

Burnout Dominator is an enjoyable game, but I can’t help but be disappointed that there’s no crash mode in the game. This has been a signature mode of the game from the beginning of the series and its absence is very noticeable here.

Mortal Shell is more than a husk of tired Souls-like tropes - it tries to do something different and does so with ardor for its source material.

Overall, despite its shortcomings Mass Effect: Andromeda was an enjoyable experience for me. The first few hours feel like a grind, but you will be rewarded for sticking with it. The game is dragged down a bit by all of the reading that must be done and some overly long conversations, but this is rather typical for the genre. The game really shines when you're exploring an alien world and battling the local fauna, and when you get down to it that's what you really want out of a space-based RPG.

But as a game it never delivers, and as a Wallace and Gromit tale it's sadly lacking.

Order Up will have you wearing your chef's hat, literally

The game honestly felt bad from the start, but all I had to tide me over was combat, but once I got further and started to open up more crafting options, it became very addicting. If you’re a fan of crafting or survival be sure to check this game out. As a horror game, the only true horror is pretty much in the game’s setting, but zombies are your main type of enemy and you actually get to play a zombie hybrid as well. Overall, Deadcraft is a very addicting survival and crafting action game.

The one compliant that I have about the Xbox Live part really has nothing to do with the game as it handles the online play flawlessly, but rather the players who show up. I suppose it’s just the price you have to pay to be online, but do I really have to hear people that are just plain mean-spirited and vulgar every time I go online? Probably.

SingStar is best played in moderation and in the company of a few good friends.

There aren’t any big enough changes in Nightlife to change your mind about the game if you’re not a The Sims 2 fan to begin with, and certain issues such as long load times still persist in the game. However, if you’re looking to add some fun to your sims’ lives, Nightlife fits the bill quite nicely.

There are some interesting mechanics at work in Anthem#9, but its scale and interface make it a game better suited for mobile.

Warhammer 40K makes a good initial foray from strategy gaming into action gaming, and hopefully we'll see more epic Space Marine action in the future.
