Red Faction: Armageddon can be a really fun game. The online and extra modes may not be all that great, and the repetitive nature of the fighting doesn't do the title any favors, but there is still a solid game here. Smashing and rebuilding stuff is great fun, and a lot of times it can make up for some of the flaws. Red Faction: Armageddon is clearly a game for fans of the series, and/or someone looking for a good, solid action game. It is the best thing since sliced bread? Nah. But it does bring a lot to the table and may or my not be a worth edition to your collection, depending on your tastes.- Gamers' Temple

Battle Slots is not really a puzzle-RPG game, it's a slot machine game and is ultimately as exciting as playing a slot machine without the financial upside.- Gamers' Temple

L.A. Noire is as much an experience as it is a game, and its unique gameplay and engrossing story make it one of the "must play" games of 2011.- Gamers' Temple

What if this game did throw in a standard, nondescript career mode? Would it be worth the price then? What if everything was unlocked to start and it was the same low price? What if it had the career mode, all the unlockables, all the stuff you could get online, all the features ready to go, and even more game modes, all for the same low price? Well then we may be talking about a game that you would be crazy to pass up. Unfortunately that's not the game we have here.- Gamers' Temple

On the positive side, the game features a strong racing engine, good graphics, and competent AI racers, and the multiplayer races are exciting. On the negative, the presentation is pretty basic, the event selection is limited, severely so for a while into the game, and the DLC available at the time of this writing is a bit on the sparse side. With more content it would be a stellar game, but for now it's more for fans of the sport than anyone else.- Gamers' Temple

That said, FFIV is still one of the best RPGs of all time, and if you STILL haven't played it and don't own a DS, now is your chance. Even without the graphical update, the greatness of the game shines through and is one of those that everyone should play before they die.- Gamers' Temple

This new MK truly deserves the title "Mortal Kombat" since it feels like a new start for the series in many ways.- Gamers' Temple

The game looks fantastic, plays great and gives the player a ton of stuff to collect and unlock. I might hate the source material, but this is the 3DS gem everyone has been waiting for. If nothing else, it will keep you occupied until Nintendo's wave of June releases.- Gamers' Temple

A smaller gameworld and recycled environments make Dragon Age II feel less expansive than Origins, but a number of console friendly game changes may make it more appealing to console gamers than its predecessor.- Gamers' Temple

Dungeon Keeper started with a good idea, but then it backed up that idea with some enjoyable gameplay. Dungeons takes that same idea, but misses on just about every point of execution. It's certainly time that gamers had another dungeon master type of game to play, but they'll just have to keep waiting for a good one.- Gamers' Temple

This is still Patapon at its best, but it doesn't measure up to the first two. Regardless, don't expect me to play much else besides this game for quite some time.- Gamers' Temple

Crysis has finally arrived on consoles, albeit starting with the sequel to the game that had PC gamers asking computer store salespeople, "yeah, but will it run Crysis?" The good news is that the Xbox 360 does indeed run Crysis 2, and, in fact, it's easily one of the best looking games to ever appear on the console.- Gamers' Temple

That said, both Dissidia and Dissidia 02 are meh fighting games with truly amazing casts of characters. The zippier fighting will seem ok at first, but once cheap, tougher enemies lead to insane button mashing you'll probably get bored. I did.- Gamers' Temple

Is Aya Brea's third adventure worth it? If you like shooters and past Parasite Eve titles, probably. If you want a Square Enix title with a more RPG slant, then steer clear. I had fun with the game beginning to end, but I have a sneaking suspicion I could be one of the few that will.- Gamers' Temple

All in all, while it was far from perfect WWE All Stars did surprise me, and I found myself having a lot more fun with it than I thought I would. Having not played a tennis video game, real tennis match, or watched much of professional tennis, I was able to pick up the mechanics quickly thanks to the training and became addicted to the career mode. But as is the case with all sports games, the longevity relies entirely upon your own interest in the sport. By using basic RPG elements, streamlined gameplay, and having robust options to choose from, Top Spin 4 is an easy choice for tennis fans and non-fans alike.- Gamers' Temple
